Horrible customer service! Had an appointment set up and still had to wait for another 25 minutes. Three employees were free just chatting. First time coming here and last.

I have been going to different eyebrow places from Beverly Hills to Topanga to Westwood to Melrose and could never find someone to perfectly shape my brows and make them even until I found Sarah at Ziba Beauty in Westside Pavillions! She is absolutely amazing, she is the sweetest woman in the world and she always shapes my brows perfectly especially since she is persian she knows exactly how to take care of brows and anything that has to do with threading! Love her thank you

I have been here probably 50 – 60 times and have pretty much had good/​okay service. At times it wasn’t that great. They are constantly changing people so once you find someone you like they are gone.
Anyways, my review is based mostly on my last experience there. I asked my stylist for a clean-​up and to create a slight arch. I should have known by how fuxking painful it was that she was taking off way more than I wanted. Terrible customer service and she was even rude after this

great quality but the walk in even in the middle of the day have over a 30 min wait. waited 30 minutes before they told me that there were two more people coming with appointments ahead of me and I had to leave. Make an appointment or you’re not going to get seen unless you’re okay waiting 2 hours.

This review is for Brittany because she is the only person I have tried: thank you for bringing my eyebrows back to life.

I have been going here regularly, but this place is something that you should avoid if you can. I need to find a new place after their issues in my last three visits!
In December, I got two things done from two different people. I wanted to give a total tip of $ 4, but they charged me at $ 4 for each! They were not even willing to refund the money to me. Instead they told me that I could get a free upper lip next time I came and that they had noted my name. When I went in January, I was told they have no such information. Also, the guy at the register who had promised this to me in December had apparently quit.
I still agreed and let it go, but then when I have gone in February as well as March — whenever I go their wax person is always on her ‘lunch break’. There isn’t a specific time for her lunch break, meaning I will have no idea when to go!!! I had a party that night and I couldn’t wear my favorite dress since they can’t follow a simple schedule. Also, they charge extra money to book an appointment so you can’t really call and book an appointment with the wax person either. All in all, a horrible place. Would love suggestions for where else I can go for threading eyebrows and waxing underarms!

I have a very hard time trusting anyone with my eyebrows because they are so thick and I am afraid someone will mess them up.
Today, I was in desperate need to get them done and my usual thread stylist was not available.
I went onto the Ziba Unilocal page and found amazing reviews for Brittany. I decided to give her a try, even though this is something I never do. Ever.
Brittany made me feel SO comfortable. She heard me out in the beginning and let me describe what I want/don’t want. She even pointed out that part of my eyebrow needed to grow more and that she would let it be. When she said this, I immediately trusted her and I knew she would not thin out or mess up my eyebrows.
My eyebrows turned out AMAZING! Brittany is my new go to girl! I am so happy :)

Brittany is awesome! Very sweet, loved the shape, & she even showed me how to fill my brows in.
Shova is great too. Minimum pain for maximum eyebrow shape. I wanted not too thin, but well-​defined & got just what I wanted.

I got lucky and was assigned to Allie. little did I know how amazing she was! I am definitely choosy when picking my eyebrow guru and it’s a struggle to find one. So happy I don’t have to look anymore:) If this place is smart they will keep Allie around if they want business. After all it is the customer’s satisfactions that creates demand. I am more than satisfied with her work & have gotten more compliments on my eyebrows since.

Eyebrows are everything. I know that we can all agree with this statement, or at least I know I can. I have been going to Ziba for years now. It is my go to place, it is my right hand, I just cannot go anywhere else.
Whenever I come here I always go to see Brittany. She is the best threader I have been to. She always listens to what I want and is always consistent. And you know how hard that is to find in a threader?! Very. I don’t know how many times, before I found her, that I’ve had to grow out my brows because they were thinned out so much from over threading/​waxing.
Every time I walk into the store with my chewbacca looking eyebrows, and tell Brittany that she has her work cut out for her, she never fails to make me happy. I am a defiantly believer in «you look good, you feel good» and I always leave feeling better than good. You won’t go wrong with seeing her, trust me.

I am a regular here and pretty happy with the service! Elli is great.

I’ve been going to Ziba for eyebrow threading for about 2 years now, they always provide such great service!
I’ve always asked for Shova, but she’s been on sick leave so she was unavailable. I was really reluctant to go and get my brows done by another person because until today, I only trusted Shova with my brows. But I took quick look on Unilocal and I saw that people recommended Brittany, a newcomer to this branch that has been doing brows for 8 years, so I asked for her.
I absolutely loved Brittany! She’s very thorough and precise about the entire process. I asked for a cleanup and we talked about how I wanted my brows shaped, and she listened and took all I said into account. She also kept a light, pleasant conversation going, so that was also a plus.
Definitely coming back for Brittany again! Ask for her, you definitely won’t regret it.

I am a big fan of Ziba, I have gone to other locations and I am loyal to this brand but I had a bad experience at this store.
Originally, I would come here for Misti who was amazing!!! She was so nice and sweet. I personally think one eyebrow has a higher arch than the other. I explain that to her and she told me that it might be because I sleep on that side of my face so the hair gets pinned down by the pillow and grows in that direction. She took time to re-​shape my brows and explain the process. After that, I would ask for Misti every time.
Last week, I called to see if Misti was in so I could get my eyebrows done. They told me she no longer worked there. Since I needed to get my eyebrows done that day, I opted for the first available. I am not usually impressed by first available since I do not know the artist but I would not give 2 stars for no reason. The lady was really nice but she seemed in a rush to do my brows even though there was no line or wait. The way she threaded them was very painful. I’m generally used to pain from threading but this was different. She was threading my eyebrows so harshly that I got a little cut from threading. She then proceeded to say, I didn’t know you were so sensitive till I accidentally cut you. As a brow artist, you should check in with your customer and their body movements to see if they are in pain or not.
I will not be back to this Ziba again.

This Ziba location is very nice and everyone is friendly. I have gotten my brows threaded for years and Brittany is always my go to stylist. She is the ultimate professional and she has excellent customer service. I recommend her services as she keeps my brows on point!

Awful experience. Walked in with 3 employees present, only one other customer in the store and was asked to wait 45 minutes. I came back 35 mins later and was told the wait would be another 25 to 30 minutes… So 1Hr+ wait just to get eyebrows at 8pm when the mall is nearly empty… No thank you.

I went in for Brazilian at this place, because my girl was booked and it was an emergency. Worst thing I could of done! Amy was so rude, and she was real rough. She irritated my skin really bad! Didn’t care how hot the wax was. I was in pain the whole night, looked like I shaved instead of waxed (didn’t leave me clean enough) because of how irritated I was left. Never again would I go here or recommend someone going in for a Brazilian!

I have been a long time client of Pouri for many years. She is amazing in her technique, professionalism, and honestly makes Brazilian wax nearly «painless».
It’s a shame Ziba beauty corporate heads did not recognize her worth and value.
This Ziba location has the worst customer service. Often you will find several staff at the front desk talking and acting as if they are on break, and NOT at work. The music is often too loud and inappropriate.
I will never visit a Ziba location again!!!

I normally get my eyebrows threaded here and they do an amazing job with them. This time I went in for a full face wax for the first time and it was a horrifying experience. I have a pretty good pain threshold but this wax was ridiculously harsh. It’s not you traditional type of wax because the wax is already on the strip. The lady that waxed my face took off some patches of the top layer of my skin and it’s just not what I signed up for. I would suggest that if you are looking for a full face wax to go somewhere else.

I wanted to try a new eyebrow place in the area, so I went to Ziba. When I lived in San Francisco I would go to Ziba all of the time, so I figured they must be pretty good here in LA too!
There is plenty of parking (free for 3? hours) so that’s a plus. It’s kind of annoying how they are located all the way on the third floor, but I guess I can use some exercise. I came here at 430pm on a Tuesday and it was completely empty. Andrea was quick and made my eyebrows look great! Mind you, I am sooooo picky about my eyebrows but she did a wonderful job.
The reason I am only giving them four stars is because it cost me $ 18 for eyebrow and upper lip threading (so a total of $ 20). It’s robbery. Usually $ 12 – 15 is what I pay for this kind of service. But it was quick and they did a good job so I guess I shouldn’t complain too much.

So let me get this straight. 1. Front desk chick is on a personal phone call and ignores me for a more than 5 minutes. 2. Pushba is no longer there and this other woman does it painfully… AND had an attitude when I told her to clean up an area MORE!!! 3. Credit card machine’s down and chick asked me if I wanted to walk across the mall to ATM to get cash? Um… NO! Yeah write down my credit card # … And NO I DONT WANT A PUNCH CARD! Seriously?!
Started going to Styles Threading on Wilshire between Barrington and Bundy… Easy peasy.
