Average yum yum donuts restaurant. Saw flies rummaging the doughnuts one morning. They also need more than one person working the busy shifts; the line can get pretty long. It’s conveniently located and there’s plenty of parking

2014 Unilocal365CHALLENGE — 231⁄365 I picked up a dozen donuts for a night in with friends and the service was fast and simple. This location is a walk-up window, no going inside, and the lady was polite. Yes there are children running around inside, and who cares? Not everyone has the luxury of having a baby sitter or family to watch the kids. It’s a tiny 24hr donut shop, I don’t see the problem with having your kids there with you. I got a variety of donuts, from sugar to chocolate, to cream filled, to the halloween sprinkles. They were all as good as i’ve ever had.

This place has been through so many owners! But I’ve gotta say they always serve good coffee. The new owners are a hispanic couple. They do take they’re sweet time doing things so to me that is great. Except when the line is more than 4 people. They need more hands on deck. Otherwise they would get a 5 star review! That and the fact that I always get charged an xlarge coffee when i asking for a large in the xlarge cup for extra room.

They gave me change when I gave them my credit card was the first problem and when I asked the guy«why the change» he was confused and asked the girl with 6 kids behind the window for help. First of all what establishment lets you have a bunch of kids in the kitchen. Then the girl threw the card at me when I decided to cancel the transaction and I said forget the donuts and forget it all. The second problem was that they charged my card and then I had to call the bank and this was so much more trouble them it was worth. No more donuts from the place I grew up going to! And they are under new management, what a joke.

I just purchased a chorizo bagel and it was the worst! I had another chorizo bagel at a different location this past weekend an it didn’t compare… I guess it just depends who makes them huh? Because the service was kinda bad… it was 2 young kids .I don’t know but I wouldn’t go there anymore! I was expecting the same sandwich I purchased on the weekend but this one wasn’t that one! It had very little chorizp and uhhhgg it just wasn’t good at all! Very dissapointed! I guess I should stick to my one location in Fletcher! Judy A.

Just discovered this little gem today. Had a night-time donut craving & was wondering where to go in our new neighborhood. Unilocal helpfully directed us to Yum Yum which is just up the street from our apartment. Just a little walk-up shop, nothing fancy. But the donuts are fresh & tasty & the girl behind the counter was super sweet & very helpful. Bonus points for all the nice neighborhood folks hangin’ out & getting coffee. Everyone was smiling & happy — that says so much about a place, don’t you think? We got a half dozen plus a few bagels(the garlic bagels are oh my GOD good) for a nice price & trotted home happy. I’ll definitely be back soon.

On days when I’m super sleepy I drink there hot coffee but on days its super hot I drink there fruity icey drink. Pretty tasty for a affordable price. Other than that the lady dosent know english so good luck. It took a good 5 minute for me to order a coffee.

I had their chocolate sprinkles doughnut. And I wasn’t impressed at all. The chocolate was very boring and the doughnut itself wasn’t very flavorful. I’m sure you can find better places.

Best breakfast sandwich in town. But, very spice for most. The Breakfast Chipotle. Bagel, egg, cheese, ham, chipotle sauce.

How awesome that I just found out that this place is open 24 hours?! Coffee and a bran muffin have become my staple for breakfast this week. The coffee is actually pretty good. I was pleasantly surprised when I took my first sip. The bran muffin was decent. It filled me up for breakfast 2 days in a row and it was inexpensive! The staff here is really nice too. Haven’t had a bad experience yet. :)

I give it a 5 since its getting me nice and fluffy again. It’s winter, so that means im eating coffe and bread at night a tradition I normally do in the winter. I had lost some weight during the summer, but thanks to yum yum its comming right back. Whose to blame? The delicious donuts or myself? I know, Myself. Its just Yumy Yumy Yum Yum.

i love Yum Yum! staff is helpful and polite at all times, and the iced coffee is great! perfect for a hot summer day! The breakfast bagels are also good, if you’d rather have something else besides donuts(of which they have an endless, fresh selection)

The women who are usually at this location are extremely sweet. Their blueberry muffins are yummy and the egg & cheese bagel sandwiches are also tasty. The donuts are good! You can’t beat the taste for that price & friendly service. I’m giving them a 4 out of 5 only because their bran muffins are a little too sweet… Iced coffee is actually pretty uncommon around here(Mt. Washington/Glassell Park/Highland Park) unless you stop at one of the newer, trendier coffee places closer to Eagle Rock. But who knows, that last review was written a year ago so maybe Yum Yum has it by now. Either way, if broken English and simplified menus are a problem for you, it’s best to stay out of east LA.

Ok… in this day in age… AND with the summers being horribly HOT… why on earth would a donut place NOT have iced-coffee… FIRST of all… the guy behind the counter did not speak much english… YAY for customer service! So… after explaining for 5 minutes WHAT iced coffee is… they did not have it. So he poured hot coffee in a cup with ice and gave it to me… Mmmm… i don’t know about you, but the physics of that do not equal iced coffee… more like diluted luke warm mess… needless to say, i needed to just throw it away, and leave empty handed… WHERE is the DUNKINDONUTSONTHEWESTCOAST!!! I MISSIT!!!
