I was inside the Koreatown Galleria Mall on Wednesday(yesterday) to grab a bowl of hangover soup and along the way, I noticed some adorable greeting cards and cute stuffed animals. After my meal, I walked to this shop and noticed more cute novelties and decided to start shopping since a friend of mine has a birthday this week. After choosing a birthday card and some Made In Korea animal socks, I left quite pleased with the overall experience. Even the customer service was friendly and welcoming as the lady was quite enthusiastic and happy to help with my purchases. She greeted each customer walking into the shop so the environment felt relaxed and pleasant.

Not a bad place to come for stationery and little gifts. They appear to have a pretty big assortment of items when you walk into the store, but more often than not, we leave here without buying anything. The employees are nice and always offer to help you find something. They have phone cases here, but most of which are too pricey. If you’re in the area, its not a bad stop, but don’t go out of your way to come here. Not really worth it.

There are certain people who will be really excited to be around this kind of office goods store. Pro — Price is very reasonable. Usually pens are about a dollar(Korean brand) and about 2 – 3 dollars for Japanese brands. So it is cheaper than buying pens at an American store like Staples or Office max. — They have 0.38 ball point pens and ink pens that are the thinnest ones available on the market. Can”t really find them in American stores — they have other cute stuff(thank you cards, dolls, etc) for younger generations Con — Inventory is very limited; can’t find much in regards to binders, folders, notebooks, etc. they don’t have other amenities like photocopying, faxing, etc. — highlighters are not as good in these stores than the ones in American office goods even though korean highlighters are cheaper. Overall, if you want to have some fine pens, you should come get the pens.

So I was on the quest to find a new phone case for my S3, and I know there was a kiosk on the lower level of the mall selling cases, but they all looked bland. The guy recommended this place– and sure enough, when I walked in, there was a WHOLEWALL of random, scattered(yet organized by phone) wall of phone cases. Also, they have those phone charms you plug into your audio jack (ex: hairbows, bunnies, bears, misc rhinestone-studded items)! Sometimes those are hard to come by, but there was quite a vast selection here! Sure enough, I left this store with a new jelly phone case(made in Korea) + rhinestone bunny charm phone jack for under $ 25. I also saw a Marc Jacobs phone case for $ 17… seems like a good deal! See, lots of misc items here. You just might get lucky. Don’t get scared off by the«kid» vibe; you are bound to find something here!

If you like Korean stuff, go here. I usually find myself inside places like this re-up’ing my fine point pen stock. Various selections, very enjoyable testing out all the various styles.

Located on the second floor of Koreatown Galleria, this adorable store sells cute Korean stationeries. They even have $ 1 section outside the store. I bought some stickers, notepads and even a whistle. A whistle? Yep… in case of emergency and it’s only $ 1. It’s almost the same quality as Morning Glory and not as cute as Sanrio.

You wont find brands like San-X, Q-lia or Crux, but«Young Art» offers some very affordable Pencils, Pens, Stationary, Planners etc. I even saw a Deco iphone cover w/Chanel logo priced $ 30.00 bucks. If you get off your computer now it could be yours.
