Well the menu has suffered some changes, some more variety of items, bowl presentation, event the store was remodeled . The tast of flavors were pretty plain, before there was a good amount of meat, now it just 90% rice and 10% of the meat and the side order ‚ Very disappointed, better off looking g for an other place to eat

I like the way they’re changing it up with menu items and new flavors BUT, they still have a long way to go. I used to hate yoshinoya cause of their bland tastes. I tried their two entrée one side dish where I picked orange chicken, the grilled squash, angus steak & fried rice. On the up side, it’s pretty filling & satisfying On the down side, I couldn’t finish the rice because it was drenched in teriyaki(or soy?) sauce. The orange chicken was pretty tasteful, a bit close to pandas, and the angus steak was nice and juicy. Sucks that their plates are drenched in sauce though, cause that just leaves with soggy rice :( Overall, an Okay meal.

The service is still cool here. But this new remodel is no bueno! Plus their portions just shrunk! Dude! Wtf?

I’ve been a fan of yoshi for many years I have no problem with the service it was really quick but you took away the sesame wings and the clam chowder I feel that the large plate is a lot smaller now so you probably lost a customer goodbye

Food looks good good in the new renovated place but the taste isn’t. Parking around it’s crazy plus a bad costumer service and they don’t have ginger come on its a yoshinoya.

The service is terrible. They brought me a wrong order and then told me if I want to have another order, I should pay again. The food itself is terrible. I wouldn’t go back for sure. There are many other better paces you can eat at around USC.

Terrible customer service. The cashier was very rude. Bathrooms need to use a token. Doesnt have teriyaki sauce as extra — you have to pay 65 cents. –1 terrible service –1 terrible restroom –1 bland food –1 for extra teriyaki sauce +1 venue is modern and relatively clean

Horrible service from the cashier who was the manager. Must have been having a bad day and totally took it out on everyone in line! Then they got my order wrong. Horrible experience

Like another user said, it’s Yoshinoya. If you come here, especially this one that has been here for years, then you know what to expect in food quality. I personally like the combo bowl. I order it every time I come here. It’s rare when I do come here because i would personally prefer Panda Express(a couple blocks up). The staff is pretty fast but the reason for my 2 stars is that they allow pan handlers to come inside while you ate eating and beg for food and money. Thy act like they don’t see it but it’s happening right in front of them. On one occasion this pan handler came in and was asking loud enough that i know for a fact the employees heard it. I was the dame distance from the pan handler as they were and I heard him. This one was better dressed than others I have seen in here. Others have just been flat out dirty and smelly, and yet they let them beg for money and leave once they are finished. I as a customer do not appreciate this! But what does Yoshinoya, huh?

What can I say? It’s Yoshinoya… sometimes you have the munchies, so you come here and you’re happy. But don’t come expecting a quality meal. The ambiance at this particular location is pretty hip though…

The chicken is nasty in the soups and the chicken teriyaki. It didn’t even look like chicken meat. I would never recommend eating here unless you plan on eating a whole bottle of tums after. Don’t try any of the asian food. The clam chowder wasn’t horrible tasting… But eating clams here is brave… Or just stupid.

I like this place better than other yoshinoya, place looks clean and nice. Food is good, also menu offers more options than other places.

This location is the Heart of USC. For the most part during the day its ok, at night this area changes. They remolded this location and they did a great job. Stopped down there because the traffic was bad. Dodger game. Parking can really be an issue. Small parking lot. As for the food nothing real spectacular, just another beef bowl… The service was pleasant. The cashier smiled and said Thank You after the purchase. Good Job…

This Yoshinoya is newly renovated. Before it was a Yoshinoya Grill place that died. Not sure the reason. Probably not enough customers, so they had made it back a normal Yoshinoya. So the food tastes pretty much like any other Yoshinoya. It’s fast asian food. So don’t expect too much from it. Like McDonalds, it tastes just like any other one. The place is new so it’s mostly clean and always have people in there eating, not deserted like some places. Staff is really helpful too. Let’s you know there’s packages of Sriracha instead me trying to squirt it in small containers. Gotta have my Sriracha! It’s definitely close to All the restaurants here near the USC campus. 3 stars for the food. The typical chicken or beef combo bowls. Sometimes it’s a little less, but sometimes a lot too depending on who was working that day. I gave a total of 4 stars for the new renovated space and fast service.

The original yoshinoya is back! They had a yoshinoya grill or somthing and they brought back the original which I’m glad because the yoshinoya grill was over priced and not tasty.

This Yoshinoya is deep in USC territory. Parking is horrific during lunch. This restaurant has been completely gutted. It’s modern, bright and trendy. It’s currently offering spicy ramen with gyudon on top.

This place is just aight… they remind me of Soy but they don’t offer brown rice. I got the grilled chicken bowl with spicy sauce and a side of sweet potato tots. The sweet potato tots had a weird texture to them — I’m definitely not a fan. The bowl was mostly white rice; I wish they served brown rice. The chicken itself wasn’t bad but the entire meal altogether was very bland and nothing special.

Parking lot is tiny. People just leave their cars in anywhere, jump out, run in and place their order. Then theres the people who just«Hang out» in the parking lot. Seriously I was in there for 45 mins or so and the same people are just chilling in the parking lot. Food — drenched with the sauce. The rice was almost like a soup. The sauce was all of the sides and bottom of the box. You can see as you order, some asian dude scooping the beef and slopping it all over the rice and getting it all over the box. Employees — they weren’t very nice. There was a customer who was having a hard time understanding that she cant use multiple coupons on the same visit. So after she left, the employee was saying some not so nice things about that customer. Just drive into Little Tokyo, if you want some REAL Japanese food.
