Just the worst type of owner a franchise can have. Got a combo bowl with orange chicken and teriyaki, comes with rice and a salad. The orange chicken looked like it was cut into smaller pieces than it originally comes in, the pieces were so small they looked like pebbles, hell they were hard to chew as well so maybe they were pebbles, they barely add the sauce that makes it orange. The teriyaki chicken was ok, just again add some sauce to it dry ass chicken. Now the salad, this was the worst thing I’ve ever seen in my life. I’m not a health concious person or anything, but WTF! I was actually looking forward to eating it after I had speed the chicken and it was all cabbage and lettuce and not much else. Oh wait, I got one piece of broccoli, one piece of carrot and one piece of cauliflower and that mountain of cabbage. Seriously, when you get cheap on serving a good salad when we all know it’s the least expensive items to buy you’re just trash. Like your franchise. Zero stars should be given, like the owner gives zero fucks about quality and his customers.

A great healthy alternative to other fast food places. Not sure why the other low reviews. I get the beef and rice and I devour it. Way healthier than burger and fries.

Came by after a movie to go thru drive thru. They have really late hours. Got the Asian bbq wings. Was hoping it was just name change to the sesame soy wings they used to have but, no, it was a completely different flavor. A bit on the sweet and spicy side like Korean bbq wings. Was good, but will not order again as I don’t like bbq sauce, nor sweet sauces. I also got rice and veggies as a combo, which was good fine. Yoshinoya is better in Japan. :) So, this is regular, consistent food. Not bad, not great. It’s fine.

BARF! –1 stars if I could give this place one. It’s just gross. The vegetables smelled gross, the beef was gross, the rice was terrible. I left feeling ratchet… OmG! I can’t believe I went here. Please shoot me for being curious about this place, but never again. Add $ 1 and you can have a healthy delicious meal or anything else! You’ve been warned!

Today was my first time trying your restaurant and it was horrible. Your employees obviously don’t give two shits about their jobs. They are also very rude and care more about their personal conversations regarding getting wasted tonight than doing there jobs. I can’t believe there was 4+ employees on staff and none of them were working on my food I ordered. Rediculous! When I first arrived I tried ordering in the drive thru and the girl didn’t even speak English. She spoke some kind of horrible broken Spanish that I couldn’t even make out so I had to come inside. How do you even make any money with a business like this?

Tried them out because I had a coupon. The inside of the restaurant is very clean and well maintained. Its not meant to be fancy. There is a decent sized parking lot. The portions were good and the food was well prepared considering it is fast food. The people working there were extremely kind and courteous. I would definitely go there again.

The new Orange chicken was not terrible at all, not terrible in any way. I actually thought it could compete with my local Chinese fast food place, if not totally beat them by the texture of it’s orange chicken, Traditionally fried then sauteed with the sauce. I will be back, I like what Yoshinoya is doing.

2015 Unilocal100CHALLENGE — 088⁄100 You get what you pay for. For $ 6 you get a chicken bowl which rice and veggies. Unfortunately, the rice and veggies are so bland and tasteless. They should come with little packs of salt and pepper.

I have to give no stars. But I’m leaving one star only because I have to give them a rate to post it. 80% of time when I go to drive thru and order, they didn’t get how I ordered. I guess workers for drive thru doesn’t understand English. Today I ordered skinless chicken and vegetables a la cart but what I got was a chicken and vegetables meal. Also today is my third time that I found hair in my food(two of them today). Yucky! I don’t recommend this place at all to all Unilocalers.

The Best fast food for me, one of the very first teriyaki joint with their original sauce and touches. This is one of the places I come home to in Los Angeles. Beef Bowl, Chicken Bowl, Combo, Strawberry shortcakes(all back in the days). I still remember how to order and know exactly what I want. I always had a side of Beef with extra sauce. Not a lot has changed really just the food containers are now squares but they still give a lot that I can have seconds. I always get the COMBO because it’s a complete meal. It’s Beef and chicken Teriyaki(not typical teriyaki, they have their unique sauce and flavor) with steamed veggies-just the right amount of saltiness and I add lots of red ginger on the side. I can’t say more but GOODNESS. It is for sure to try for anyone who gets to LA.(Some are open 24hrs) It’s still as good as I remember. It is a fast food place so I can’t nor anyone should expect top service. They do their best and just go with the flow, and enjoy it! I know I will keep coming back. It’s perfect for people who are too busy to cook or cannot cook, or don’t want to cook. It’s always ready for pickup to enjoy and want more. Parking is always available.

If their Sprite tastes like dirty laundry water with a hint of lemon… what else is dirty? I’ll change this review once corrected.

Get in, get your bowl spicy with extra sauce. get out. Not great, not bad, but you get what you pay for. I’m beginning to take bets on weather or not some random stranger comes up to me with some sad story that they are going to get kicked out of their hotel or not be able to get home unless i give them $ 20

I was starving. Usually when you’re starving everything and anything tastes great. Well in this case, I shoved it down my throat and tasted it later– as I regurgitated it. My sister and I ate here yesterday as it was the only place we noticed with a drive thru. I had the combo bowl, with teriyaki chicken and beef. My sister had the teriyaki bowl. It was dry and unfavorable. She ended up getting stomach cramps. If you’re hungry, stay hungry. I only gave it a one star because I had to give it a star.

Ok this place is what it is. You probably had this so I’m not going into the quality of the food. I will discuss the quality of the service. I mostly use the drive through when I feel like basic rice and chicken and don’t have time to cook myself and that’s fine. Last time I was here I decided to order inside as the drive through was kinda busy. Big mistake, the people working inside don’t give a crap and are rude. Screw this place.

Ordered the chicken udon and clam chowder. The udon portion was skimpy and the veggies were old and charred from being overcooked. I felt really ripped off for my date who took care of the bill. I should have picked up a can of Campbell’s Chowder from Target instead…

Good hot Food. The older lady at night is extremely rude ! I went through the drive through and ordered two chicken bowls with a coupon i received in the mail. I asked for extra onions on both, Maria the cashier looked at me with disgust and slammed the window on me after sighing as if i was annoying her by patronizing Yoshinoya. I left after receiving my food then called to get her name. After struggling to get her name out of her(bad attitude and very thick accent) she screamed at me and hung up on me ! If it weren’t for the terrible customer service skills that Maria has, I would be back and would have given 5 stars ! What a NIGHTMARE !!! STEERCLEAR of this place !
