I like this place so much. Very good food and very good service. The only problem is the time waiting for food. Literally the best hookah place I ever been to. Very decorative place with positive atmosphere. Mediterranean Food, aromatic and flavored. RECOMMENDED

We’re HOOKED!!! Placed an order through Eat24. Ordered: 1. 2 — Xai Cobb Salads– The Chicken was to die for… seasoned well and very juicy. Lemon dressing is light and tasty. For the price you get a healthy serving. 2. 1– Lamb Kabob Wraps– The Lamb also was seasoned well and DELICIOUS!!. I would definitely order these items again. I read the reviews from other Unilocalers and wanted to give this restaurant a try. Although we ordered for take out… the service was outstanding!!! Going to dine in next time.

This place is walking distance from my house and after a stressful day at work, or just to relax on a weekend, there is nothing I love more than a great meal and a hookah. So naturally I’ve tried this place 5+ times — keeping my fingers crossed each time that I’d have the experience I was looking for. I never did. First of all, its outrageously over priced. To the tune of $ 10 for french fries, or $ 12 for sweet potato fries. Or $ 6 for an iced tea. The cheapest you’ll pay for a basic hookah is $ 30, and there’s nothing special about the hookah or hoses they use — actually they don’t even do basic hookah maintenance like separating hookahs used for strong flavors like mint. Second of all, I’ve never had good service here. Today, on a 55 degree night in LA, the waiter didn’t turn our heating lamp on. He didn’t turn on anyone else’s either, so we all sort of looked at each other awkwardly and froze. You would have thought that once one or two tables asked they’d turn all the lamps on. Nope. Same dude forgot to order our hookah, so by the time we got it all our food and drinks were gone and we were ready to leave. No one ever checked on our coals either. A couple weeks ago I had a similar experience — we were confused about the happy hour prices and the waitress just didn’t have the patience to explain them to us. For a much higher quality hookah and more reasonable prices check out Pi on Sunset, its about 2 miles away and while the ambiance isn’t as nice, everything else is better.

This place is awesome !! The hookah here is so smooth ! and it burns for a long time ! The downside to this place is that it closes super early ! Right when you start to enjoy the hookah it’s about time for them to close ! Can’t really comment to much on the food as I have only had fries and cheesecake there. Both were good.

Any restaurant that puts 15% gratuity on any bill especially for party of two deserves one star rating. Especially they don’t even tell you. I gave them 20% tip without realizing it and now it came to 35% tips. Gratuity is something you earn and is not compulsory. Never going back. I feel taken advantage of and not allowing that. Unacceptable.

I wish I could give this place the negative stars it deserves. AND though I never like to disclose names of servers, Katie or Katy or whatever is probably the reason I will never return to this place, ever again. Actually, I lied. here are all the reasons I will never return to this place ever again: 1. i cant help the ambiance and heavily male middle eastern population in this small place, but regardless of that matter, the service is beyond unacceptable. the waitress is not very nice, definitely lacking attentiveness, and the list goes on… she visited our table after we asked the hookah guys 3 times. I ordered an Arnold palmer… who the HELL charges 5 dollars for an Arnold palmer? so I paid 10 bucks for a damn drink that has no refill LOL. this isn’t even a high end establishment… any who moneys not an issue. its the principal and the lacking service that goes with it. 2. the food was TERRIBLE. like disgusting. salad was overdressed and the greens were wilted, meat was old(probably a few days old) because you can taste and smell the disgusting old meat smell if you know what I mean, AND it was cheap. like the worst possible meat ever. It was so low quality and when we told her we want and EXTRASKEWER she charged an EXTRAPLATE. INCOMPETENCE at its finest. 3. the hookah kept burning and burning… coal people were no where near till we had to wave the hell out of arms to get someone attentions. why is that? because we don’t smell of arab money and look middle eastern? ahahaha OK. after a 200 dollar bill for nonsense its safe to say I am disgusted and advise you to stay away. go to the spot, red moon… anywhere but here.

I love this place! The ambient is very nice and romantic, perfect for a date or a girls night out. The décor I I really like it’s like a hidden patio. I typically go in for hookah, but today I had dinner and it was delicious… I just wish they closed later, after our dinner we wanted to order hookah, but it was 10:30 and they close at 11.

Food was excellent, falafel was really good, hummus bi chicken was great, hummus seemed to be house made, but never asked, black house special tea was good(would have been better if they didn’t leave the tea leaves inside the tea pot; which consequently, made the tea much bitter than it should be) Service for the price paid could have been good, It took 30 min for the waiter to being glass of water. Maybe it was a bad day, but the place wasn’t packed, yet there were more servers than than actual service

This place is a bit overpriced. The service is hit or miss, been here a couple of times and one time service was terrible, we literally had to go up to the hostess to pay our tab. Another time it was decent, so like i said, depends on who your waiter is, it definitely is not consistent. This other time our hookah was packed terribly, it was burning from the second we got it, they were nice enough to bring us a new one though. Over all, you can get decent quality/same quality hookah somewhere else but pay less and get better service.

Probably close to 2.5 but I’ll round up. I don’t hookah so this based purely on the food and the food was just okay. I tried the lamb tagine. Presentation was really nice and the lamb was okay. Nothing too remarkable about this dish as a whole. My friend had the short ribs which was a little too fatty for my taste, but the real offender were the vegetables it came with. So bland and rock-hard and my friend couldn’t touch them. He did love the meat and potatoes though. The patio makes for a beautiful hang out spot if you enjoy hookah. Even though I didn’t love the food the ambience was kind of cool.

My pocket starts hurting every time I come here. Everything is just so EXPENSIVE, but, the hookah is definitely worth the $ 30 it costs. Waiters/Waitresses are so nice that I had to tip specific people extra because they deserved it. The tea comes in a pot and they charge by how many cups you want to be put on your table. Food is great tasting too, but each plate is somewhere between $ 15-$ 20. Expect to spend about $ 60-$ 70 for two people here.

Came here on a Saturday night with a friend for the first time. It was a very pretty lounge. It wasn’t very packed for a Saturday night but it was great. The room we were seated in was very cozy and quiet. Our waitress was the sweetest ever. She kept asking if we were doing okay. Service was great. Hookah wasn’t that amazing but it was okay. I would definitely come back!

Perfect date-night location! The cute booths make it so cozy and romantic! And what tops it off? HOOKAH! You have to try their CHICKENSHAWARMAWRAP! The perfect sauce. Fresh chicken. French fries. And hookah on the side makes it even more appealing. I’ve been here a lot of times. And I would recommend coming night/late-night and to sit in the cute booths. I would definitely go again. I leave my car to valet but I’m sure there’s parking a street up or down, for those of us who are iffy about valet. Expect to have a good time here, especially with their 10% off. I know it’s not much, but Unilocal helps you feel welcomed almost anywhere! Thank you for the great experiences :)

Being Nadia, I was at a hookah place owned by Nadia, listening to Nadia Ali playing, and smoking The Nadia hookah. Nadia is never a bad idea. Every detail of this place is perfection. It reminds me of how I imagine Lebanon to look like, It’s a beautiful escape. The atmosphere has the ability to make you feel like you’re in a different part of the world. I live for these types of places. This is my spot, obviously. My favorites: My Habibi hookah Watermelon & Feta Salad chocolate Monkey fusion tea.

This is a cool spot. The hookA($ 40)and ambiance is great. I think the food and service needs a little pick me up. For a cool spot to chill and smoke I love it. By the way… the hookA had me buzzing! Hummus, pita, and watermelon salad is a must. Skip the chicken kabob. It had a terriyaki flavor and what tasted like rice a roni from the box. Flat Breat with seasoned ground meat was also not pleasuring to my taste buds. Overall it’s a fun hookA ace and tapas.
