I really enjoyed my dining experience here. First off, the view at the restaurant is amazing. Come here to chill at the bar and take advantage of the view if you don’t feel like dinner. But yes, we were taken into the dining area that was dimly lit with really cool lights hanging from the ceiling. I was part of a big party and was able to sit in one of the«private» areas with the glass dividers and curtains. Service was friendly and accommodating. Everything we had was really delicious. Understand that the food here is pricey, but it makes up for it in the flavor(and I guess the view too). Crystal Chive and XO Seafood Dumplings– Wonderful texture and a perfect blend of seafood. These orders were both also pretty filling. Roasted duckling– The duckling came in two courses. I had the pieces that came with the second course. Not at all gamey. Cooked perfectly. Black cod– The fish melts in your mouth. Has a little of a sweet taste to it. General Tso’s Quail– A little bit fried. If you like garlic and scallions, you’ll be pleased. Scallops– Delicious. Sonoma Lamb chops– The most tender, tasty lamb I’ve had. I think I would get this again if I were to come back.

I’m a regular at WP24. The bartenders are always so friendly & attentive. The prefer the bar food here than the other typical Wolfgang Puck restaurants. You have to try the Chinese bao with braised pork belly & the fried chicken wings. I’ve always questioned how Wolfgang can create such amazing Asian food better than some Chinese places.

The décor here is harsh and cold, like most trendy places. There is a lacquered shine every where from the floor to the ceiling. Gone are the days of deep pile carpets to tickle your feet and soft surfaces to soothe your senses. The bird nest theme is cagey; not so much an homage to Renzo Piano’s Jean-Marie Tjibaou Cultural Centre, but a cheap knock off. So much for the décor which you can’t eat. The food is not as good as Chinois but better than Spagos, the other 2 Wolfgang Puck restaurants. Chinois does a respectable rendition of Chinese food but it falls short here. The flavors are mild, similar to your local Chinese restaurant in the burbs but with impressive prices. The entrée I had, had 3 large prawns smothered with an orangey sauce and a few scraps of celery and what nots. There was no heap of carbohydrate such as rice, quinoa or potatoes. A vegetable was also missing. Very disappointed at how chefs of haute cuisine could not figure out a well rounded meal. I was still hungry after and drove to to the San Gabriel valley to have a bowl of noodles. Was here for the dine LA price of $ 49. Tax and tip came to $ 62. There is is a supplemental fee of $ 15 for the filet mignon entrée if you picked that. A glass of wine was $ 24. Pricey for not so great a meal.

WP24 is a very pretty restaurant on the 24th floor of Ritz Carlton. Very cute date place to go since all the seats by the table are for small parties only. The service here is super meh. Our server looked like someone took a poop on his face. It’s one thing to not chat and be polite to the customers. But he felt straight soulless. Our server told us the portion for the fried rice can feed 3 – 4 people. When we got our food, we were all in shock and very confused. Did he meant portion size for 3 – 4 ants? I honestly could’ve finished the whole fried rice in less than 5 bites. Besides the service, the food was pretty decent. Nothing exceptional or special about it and didn’t taste horrible either. But for the price, I would prob hit up somewhere else for some legit Chinese food. Definitely check this place out for its view and environment if you’ve never been. Once is more than enough

The restaurant itself and the view is AMAZING from this place. It’s inside of the Ritz Carlton right next to the staples center so it’s a perfect place for a date before or after an event at the staples center. The food is okay… It’s very pricey but I think the price of the food has a lot to do w how greet the view is. So you’re basically paying for the food plus the view. The restaurant is seriously amazing though… The interior design! My boyfriend and I ordered pork Bao buns for appetizer(highly recommend), and then he ordered the duck($ 90) and I ordered pork shanks($ 40ish I think?). The food was salty and small portions but I still give this place a 4 star though bc our waitress was great and it was overall a great place!

Modern, attractive, & sterile. I’m talking about the waitstaff. That being said, this is a destination restaurant and worth visiting for a graduation, birthday, or a Tuesday night dinner simply because you live a Gucci life. We ordered a variety of items, all very good, but buyer be aware, the menu is pre-fix. You simply choose the items you want from the respective headings. This made things more confusing than it had to be. Management, what if I want several items from one heading and none from another heading? This is a slight nit pick. Conclusion: the more you order, the more expensive it is, the better the value. Do you really want to leave here with a $ 300 bill* having only eater a couple dumplings and some noodles? no you don’t. *not much of an exaggeration

I’ve come here 2 – 3 times now with my boyfriend and work and I still love the view from this location. It’s at the 24 floor of the Ritz Carlton at LA Live and overlooks downtown LA. The restaurant is dimly lit and excellently decorated in modern décor. It’s a perfect location for a date or business. Throughout my visits I’ve had their sushi(3⁄5), black cod(5⁄5), duck(4⁄5), and several of their desserts which were(5⁄5). If anything — I would recommend skipping the sushi. The menu is definitely pricey so prepare because it does pack a punch. Also the lychee martinis are my favorite. I’d get more than two but like I said — it’s quite expensive. So overall, the food is good but for the price I’ve had better. You pretty much pay for the view which isn’t too bad if you’re guest is more interested in the Downtown skyline.

I’m torn between a 3 and 4 stars as I did not try WP24 in its usual setting. I came here tonight for my person’s TCW Christmas Party. The WP24 is located on the 24th floor of the Ritz Carlton at LA Live. Leaving from the SGV, traffic was terrible and the 110 is why I took as long as I did. When I finally arrived about one hour later, I immediately pulled into the valet and let them handle my car from there. My person met me in the lobby and we headed to the party. Décor was lovely as it was decorated nicely for Christmas but from what I did see, I’m sure WP24 is nice on any other day. The views are a must so if you’re there ask to be seated near a window. DTLA at night never disappoints. Since this was a private event, we had the entire restaurant, the food was more buffet style. I can’t say I was impressed but I would have to try it on another day to truly be able to give a judgement. Ambience though is why I’m giving it a 4 and not 3. It’s my first big company Christmas party and overall, I think they did a great job at making it fun. Did I mention it was an open bar?! Tips– parking was free so long we had our voucher indicating we were here for this event. Not an event, you’re maximum could be about $ 42. Ouch.

Came here for the lounge/bar area and the service was absolutely exceptional. Since it was my birthday, they brought out a nice little complimentary dessert(which tasted AMAZING) even though we weren’t dining with them, and upon the moment we walked in, we were treated like royalty. Now THAT is stellar customer service folks!!! I’m a lightweight so I opted for a lychee martini. A little strong and not too fruity, but beautiful nonetheless. Very enjoyable! The interior is elegant with modern décor and the entire restaurant has such a wonderful vibe to it. The view, the lighting, atmosphere. Wow. Beautiful. My first time being at a Wolfgang Puck restaurant and I was already impressed how well everything was put together.

Wolfgang Puck you disappointed me. The food has been lacking quality and it makes me sad. This place has such a beautiful view of LA but the food has been drained of satisfaction. Food had become too salty or plain(sadface) I guess i will stop coming here fore a while.

We had eaten at the Nest previously and loved the food so the hubby and I came back to try WP24. It’s a quieter atmosphere, great for a date night. The views of the city are gorgeous. We started with the Dan Dan dumplings. These had great flavor and packed a spicy punch. For entrees we got the cod, lamb chops, and Shanghai Noodles. The kitchen split the cod and lamb for us, which we appreciated. I am a lamb lover and I loved this one. The cod was great too. It was delicate, yet flavorful. I loved the noodles too. I had downplayed them in my mind, but they were really good. We were too full for dessert, but that menu looked good too. Oh don’t forget to order a cocktail, they have some good ones!

If opulence was a flavor, this would be the place to experience it. The beautiful atmosphere of the restaurant transports you to the elegant hotels of Shanghai or the 101 building in Taipei. The most modern décor with exceptional service makes this place nothing short of what I would expect from the Ritz Carlton properties or from the amazing extraordinary chef Wolfgang Puck. The new menu was an a la carte menu that was perfect for a vegan gluten free like myself and my carnivore husband who enjoys everything else. We ordered several appetizers and they were all equally delicious. Soo accommodating to make things vegan and gluten free without skimping on flavor. Sweet white corn was unbelievable with a kick of Fresno chillies and«tiny dumplings» were actually not tiny but quite a great size to share. Entrée — beef was perfectly cooked and was like butter and no need for a steak knife. It was juicy and packed with flavor that was unbelievable. Other entrée was the tofu thai basil with eggplant and crispy spinach. Flavor was superb and for a tofu dish, it far exceeded every tofu dish I’ve had in this city. Dessert was compliments of the chef which included dragon fruit, mango, pineapple, kiwi berries, raspberries and much more. Something as simple as fruits were so delicious and a wonderful ending to a wonderful dinner. This restaurant is truly an experience restaurant with great views and service. So accommodating and wouldn’t expect anything less from Wolfgang Puck and the executive chef at this restaurant. Truly amazing!

I had my last hurrah dinner with my favorite cougars and besties last night and let me tell you we all had such an amazing(partially memorable due to the near endless flow of booze) few hours here. The ambience and setup is intimate, with the cast of dim light from the outside coming in. Quite mood setting if you’re on a date. Service is impeccable despite my group being slightly loud and rowdy(sorry). They catered to a group of inebriated ladies with utmost courtesy and professionalism. We had nearly everything on their menu, and the drinks flowed quite heavily. Every bit was savoured by all. Fantastic, nearly unforgettable experience at WP24. Thank you guys!

Amazing ambiance, view & service as to be expected from Wolfgang Puck. However, if i’m eating upscale Chinese food, I’d pick Hakkasan over WP24. As other reviews stated, 3-course prix fixe at $ 80. You can have more courses for addt’l $$ but 3 is more than enough! You start your course with 3 small dishes that are compliments of the chef: *Marinated Cucumbers: Growing up, my mom made this at home and WP’s cannot compare. The cucumbers were kind of soggy and didn’t seem like it was marinated long enough. *BBQ Buns: I don’t usually like this but these were pretty good! Great size. good amount of filling and soft buns. *Prawn Toast: Way too oily. *To Start With: –Crispy Suckling pig(Spiced Fuyu Persimmon, Sweet Bean, Chinese 10 Spice): While I was impressed that the skin was crispy… it was really dry overall. 626 restaurants make this so much better. SKIPIT. -$ 10 extra for the Dim Sum Sampler: I like how hefty these are but Hakkasan’s are better tasting. The«Tiny Dumpling» was huge but kind of tough and lacked flavor. *Entrée: Whole Roasted Duckling«Peking Style»: 2 people must order but this could have definitely fed 4 – 5 people. I love that they bring it to your table to look at first. Then, they cut it for you so it’s much easier to manage. Like the crispy suckling pig, really dry. The skin also was a little soggy. However, the BUNS were AMAZING. Small but so fluffy. *Sweet Finale: beautiful plating, interesting flavor combos and not too sweet –Pineapple Cheesecake(Red cooked pineapple, Yuzu Meringue, Lemongrass Passion Fruit Mousse): Not bad but this is one of those desserts I don’t know how to appreciate. So many unique flavors that I really just prefer a simple homemade pineapple cheesecake –Fuji Apple(Roasted Apple Terrine, Toasted Hazelnut Crumble, Red Miso Caramel, Earl Grey Ice Cream): As delicious as it sounds! I would’ve been happy with 3 of these. –NIshi Pear(Pistachio Cake, Pickled Asian Pear, White Chocolate Ice Cream): So creative but not very tasty IMO. I think the pickled asian pear may have been marinated? But definitely strange to eat by itself. However, when paired with the other elements, it was more palatable.

My boyfriends birthday was coming up and I had purchased tickets to the clippers game and thought we’d do a birthday dinner when I chose WP24. I had made reservations through open table and put a note that it’s my boyfriends birthday and we wanted window seats. The restaurant itself is in the Ritz Carlton on the 24th floor. The WP24 has two sections a formal dinning area and a lounge area. When we got there we got seated right away with a nice envelope on our table greeting us and wishing my boyfriend a happy birthday. The view is truly amazing of Downtown La. We got a few drink some appetizers and our main dishes. Everything about WP24 was delicious. We were literally in food coma. WP24 was a very romantic dinning experience for us we will definitely going back.
