This place has potential. It seems to have an identity crisis. Some things are super inexpensive and then there are $ 100 cotton lounge pants that aren’t particularly flattering on most bodies. The pricier items are not more luxe. The sales staff is constantly revolving and most of them do not seem to have any experience — in retail or anything. The owners definitely have an eye and a distinct style — kinda bohemian chic, kinda California surf — but in the Arts District shoppers want quality and style. The shop is tucked away from busy 3rd Street but with more residents and visitors regularly coming to the neighborhood, it could become one of the stars if it plays its cards right.
