For Century City during lunch hour I think we did well. We were seated and served rather quickly. I had a Lobster roll and my hubby had a Chicken bowl. I was kind of surprised that they are using fresh lobster and it is real, I asked for my butter on the side, you never know how much butter they will put on it. My lobster roll was simply delicious and my hubby really enjoyed his chicken bowl. I would have lunch here again if I were in the area at lunch time. The staff were nice, friendly and professional, I liked their attitudes, they seemed happy to be at work and that is always a good thing.

Lunchy at Century City Farmer’s Market. My friends wanted to get the Hawaiian chicken bowl but I wanted to try the lobster roll. The line at the Hawaiian chicken was long and there was no line at the lobster roll place. I got the lobster roll($ 13.00) and added pickle, chips & soda for $ 2.00 extra. I got my lobster roll with melted butter, seasoning and a little mayo. The lobster meat was fresh, but I didn’t really like it as much as Lobsta Truck because it was very bland, even with the seasonings. The bread is toasted with butter and it was kinda greasy. Lobsta Truck’s bread is delicious and the lobster meat is slightly sweet. The portion is tiny but it’s understandable since lobster is expensive. They also have: junior lobster roll, blue crab roll, New England clam chowder soup, and spicy crab stew Add extra meat to your lobster roll $ 6.00. $ 0.41 change if you pay using your credit card. Super friendly service. 3 stars! I asked my friend to get me the Hawaiian chicken bowl because I wasn’t satisfied with the taste and was still hungry. Wink’s Lobster & Seafood is almost yummylicious!

I ordered a bowl of clam chowder soup from the Century City’s Farmer’s Market for $ 6. So yummy! The«bowl» portion is actually really big and I got superrrr full just off of the soup. The soup is really hot and fresh tasting and they put a lot of clams in the soup. The guy heading up the tent has a Boston accent so I feel like this place is super legit. Lol. I came around 12:15ish and didn’t have to wait in a line to order. However, I did have to wait a good 5 – 8 minutes for them to bring the food out.

Back for more! Today I tried the blue crab roll and it was excellent!!! For $ 12, it is so much better than what you can get from a pricey seafood place! Love love love this joint. The farmer’s market suck but Wink’s Lobster make it all worthwhile and the Lemonade is just right, not too sweet nor too sour. Perfection.

They serve real lobster, that’s right, REAL. Not frozen shit. Cold lobster, warm hotdog sized bun, melted butter, and seasoning. Hmmm and mmmm… both. A tad on the small side(4−5″ inches, and 3 oz of lobster), it went down in 30 second flat. Piggy? Maybe. Each Thursday afternoon, they are at the farmer’s markets in Century City. Recommend getting the bag of chips they sell, otherwise, it can be a little one-dimensional. Yeah, buddy.

Head over to the Sunset Beach Farmers Market on Saturdays before 2pm. Check out Wink’s lobster and seafood stand. You won’t regret it. They are seriously THEBEST lobster rolls in the area! I’ve been eating them for the last few years and they just keep getting better and better.

I get the lobster roll at the sunset beach farmers market. It is so yummy! The bread is soft and the sandwich comes with butter and mayo. Very fresh and tasty!

I was actually skeptical at first. I looked at other reviews on Unilocal and they were all good. Turns out, they are absolutely correct. Just go and try it already. You won’t regret it. If you don’t like it, I’ll refund your money. LOL

I go to the farmer’s market every Thursday and usually get the hawaiian chicken but finally decided to try Wink’s. Man oh man did I make a great decision. I got light mayo, the special seasoning, and butter on my roll and it was phenomenal. The bread that it was on was amazing as well. I have had a couple of lobster rolls in DC and NY and this definitely was the best lobster roll that I have had. Definitely coming back!

Happened to have a meeting in Century City and got lucky that it was Farmers Market Day!!! First off, Brandon, the man in the back, and the other gent running things are fantastic… Sorry I forgot your name. Second, consider that the same size lobster roll will cost you $ 18 – 25 elsewhere. Yes, in a restaurant, but still… Third, this was a damn good roll. I would opt for a little more mayo and a little more of that killer seasoning next time… but the combo of butter on the roll, mayo and seasoning is the right mix. The roll/bun is not great… love the other, top split, New England style rolls I grew up with… but all that is, is basically a delivery device… soak it in a little butter, which they did… and give me the lobster meat… and THAT was delicious. THISISABOUTTHELOBSTER!!! Could there be more meat? Always, but this was a generous portion… especially given that we are in LA and not Maine. They also gave me a taste of the chowder, which was really great. Will need some of that next time. Wish they were in other locations closer to me… but I would seek them out again!

I noticed a few folks complaining about the lobster being cold and felt the need to share the fact that lobster rolls are traditionally served with cold lobster on a warm toasted hot dog-style roll.(see ) Also, folks who are complaining about the cost($ 12 per lobster roll) should remember that they are purchasing fresh lobster flown in live from Maine. I can tell you from experience that $ 12 is the standard price for any lobster roll sold by SoCal food trucks/stands. Wink’s is still the best!

I’ve become addicted to lobster rolls so of course I’m going to travel around looking for the best. Wink’s was quite disappointing. To see their 4-star ranking is deceiving, and Cousins Maine Lobster is far and away much better. The lobster meat at Wink’s was flavorless and the bread wasn’t fresh. I was expecting some good flavor but it seemed not much effort was put into their craft. I was generous with a 2-star rating.

Wink’s was at the Farmer’s Market in Century City on Thursday. There was two fellas manning the booth. They were really friendly and helpful. I ordered the lobster roll and I thought it was ok. I got it with butter, mayo, and seasoning. It was overpriced for a decent size and tasting lobster roll. I was expecting it to be warm but it was cold.

I had the lobster roll. I didn’t realize it was served cold and I was expecting something warm. You can probably get it hot if you ask for it. They ask you if you want the butter, seasoning and/or mayo. I got it with butter and seasoning but probably should have gotten the mayo too. The roll is small but tasty and was loaded with lobster. You pay a little more than you would probably spend on a lunch but was worth the try and would consider going back.

I rode my bike today to Sunset Beach Farmer’s Market. A friend told me about Wink’s and I could not refuse trying a lobster roll. The rolls are toasted and baked fresh, I was told. I did not get mine with butter or mayo, just seasoning and it was ah-mazing. I’m dreaming of Wink’s Lobster rolls. Can’t wait to find out where they will be next. Also, the fresh squeezed lemonade is super good. Best lunch you will have in awhile.

While crusing down towards the ocean for lunch, my buddy and I are still wondering what we were going to have. It’s a nice day out and we have all of our work done so we don’t have to rush back to work in an hour like we usually do so, where should we eat? We drove by the shade hotel and saw the farmer’s market; jokingly I told my buddy we should kill some time in there before findging a place and he agreed. We parked across the street and first thing we saw was Wink’s. «I’m sold,» I said as we looked at each other, «You took the words out of my-drool» yeah, he actually drooled as he was speaking to me. We each caught a whiff of the buttery sweet goodness and those rolls. We waited in line and placed our order for two blue crab roll combos; at $ 15 for each combo, these things are far from cheap but let me tell ya’ they were some of the best samidges we’ve had! We will definetly be back!

I went to the Century City farmers market today on a mission to score some pulled pork greatness from Big Mista, but, to my chagrin, the corner where he usually is located was empty. Crestfallen, I made my way back to my car. But, ho! What’s this?! Wink’s Lobster & Seafood? Lobsters direct from Maine? As I was quite peckish, and as I do love a good crustacean, I decided to chase away my pulled pork blues with a lobstah roll. Boy, was I pleased. Offered the choice of butter, seasoning, mayo, or a combination of the three, I opted for butter and seasoning. It took a couple minutes to prepare the freshly toasted buttered roll, and soon I was presented with what I think is the best(and most authentic) lobster roll in LA. The lobster was perfectly cooked and absolutely delectable. Yes, it’s a bit pricey at $ 12 for a sandwich that will not break any scales, but if you want a truly great lobster roll, then this is as good as it gets in LA.

We were wandering the Palos Verdes Farmer’s Market without a plan and saw a big group huddled for lobster rolls. It was my first time seeing lobster rolls at a Farmer’s Market but since the line was long and it looked like it took awhile to get orders out. We moved on and continued to check out what else was available that Sunday. After a walk through, I couldn’t get lobster rolls out of my head and I decided since I was starving and everything else we got had to be prepared, if there was no line for the lobster rolls, it would be a nice snack(we split one). It’s $ 15 for a lobster roll. Kind of pricey but the lobster is super fresh and I really liked the roll they put it on. It’s looks like a block of butter and we were quite confused while we watched him prepare it. But it’s actually the roll that is the block and it’s toasted on the grill with a lot of butter. Then he splits it open and throws in mayo and bay seasoning and tops it off with about 2 – 3 oz of fresh maine lobster. It’s delicious. Don’t hesitate to get it like I did and just get a whole one for yourself. Don’t forget the napkins and be careful eating while standing, the lobster likes to jump off the roll, no one likes wasting lobster.

The best Lobster Roll around without a doubt. He was at Sunset Beach Last Sunday in Farmers Markets. Fresh flown in from Maine. Wink knows Lobster! He also make Lobster Omlets! Thank you for the best Roll around…
