I pre-​paid $ 40 to have a pair of leather boots with some scuffing and worn soles repaired. The shoes were returned sanded and painted using a mussed q-​tip in a darker color than the original leather…

Great place. Nothing fancy. I stepped in something and needed a shoe shine. It took me five minutes and cost me $ 5. When I need new heels or a re-​sole, I will definitely go back since this place is right by my office.

This hole-​in-​the-​wall shop is no frills, but they do wonderful work here. I have my heels soled here, and they’re very detail-​oriented (they match the bottom colors, and bevel the edges, etc.) The prices are great, and they even create shoes from scratch if you request – I’ve never done so myself, so I can’t speak to that… but I plan to try it out sometime. Once I do, I’ll definitely post a new review!
