Just tried this place for the first time after spotting a long line at the farmers market. I can’t speak to the authenticity of the food(Caribbean) but I can vouch for its deliciousness! Ordered the jerk chicken bowl and a side of plantains — it turns out that I didn’t need the side of plantains since some were included with my bowl but I had some fortunate coworkers who benefited from my mistake. The jerk sauce is indeed spicy but it really makes the dish, which in addition to chicken and plantains also comes with rice, beans, and some very fresh-appearing cilantro. Another potential customer was wondering what the curry chicken tasted like and they offered her a sample, so don’t be afraid to ask if you want to make sure that you’ll be happy with your lunch. Although the line was pretty long when I got there, they moved pretty quickly so it didn’t take too long to get my order. I will definitely make a point to look for these guys the next time I’m at the Westwood Village farmers market, especially since they take credit cards and I’m always short of cash.
