The sandals & patchouli crowd will think they died & went to nirvana… This location now has a self serve KOMBUCHA fountain!!! A dozen flavors, including cherry and blueberry. The pineapple flavor is especially delicious. It reminds me of Orange Bang. Not mouth-puckeringly sour like most kombucha. It’s getting REAL in the Whole Foods parking lot.

The pineapple flavor is especially delicious. It reminds me of Orange Bang. Not battery-acid-sour like most kombucha. Definitely NOT a fan of the snooty white women who shop here. The ones who act like spoiled little princesses. The ones who give you the stink-eye for having cookies & ice cream in your basket. The ones who think their«personal space» extends 10 feet in all directions because they’re so precious. Bitch, please. Go choke on a falafel. It’s getting REAL in the Whole Foods parking lot.

Best Whole Foods I’ve ever been to! They have everything that hits my fancy, plus the vegan food they have! Wow! Amazing! I’m definitely shopping at this Whole Foods from now on!

Compared to other Whole Foods locations, the food bar here is excellent, as well as the general grocery selection. Be warned, however, that the store’s security staff seem to be prone to following you around the store as you shop, especially if you are black. This has happened on countless occasions.

Horrible customer service since they purged their employees and went for part-time employees. Management is unapologetic. I hope this place sinks into the ground.

high cost food, trashy sketchy parking lot. why is it a jungle to try and park in here? doesn’t feel very«whole or healthy» to be in a panic not to hit someone or dodge homeless out of every corner. Please redo your parking lot. to reflect ur sky high food prices. also often many food items are conveniently not labeled. like bison steak and smoked salmon. and some of your take home to go containers are very faulty and spill. im not saying regress back to styrofoam, just simple plastic would do cuz paper wont hold anything wet!

It’s cool. Crazy busy crowded! The selection is cool. But you always feel rushed. The hot bars and salad bars are probably crawling with germs as the food looks very tossed about and nasty beyond the morning set up for breakfast/lunch. The bar area is not well maintained at all. But shopping is ok overall.

Where is the Daiya? I have been to this place on several occasions in order to buy vegetables and Vegan cheese… Pros: This location has plenty of parking once you get through The Grove frenzy. Aisles are well organized, clean and easy to navigate. Cons: Some stagnation is a good thing because it seems like this location constantly changes where they place things. I went one day to find that me and several other customers were walking in a constant circle to find cheese. The staff was helpful but they moved the entire store around. Will go back…

Everything is great here and some much selection, the best that’s what I think. Also, always fast service morning or afternoon The best sandwich, once you try it you will not want to go anywhere else. The best…

The 2016 Unilocal 500 — Review #175: GOODANDBAD: Quality items at some absorbent prices. The things I can purchase I do. Those I can’t are usually ridiculous to me anyway. 70 bucks for a jar of honey seems like I must have forgotten my change… like 65 dollars worth. FAVORITEPARTOFTHESTORE: I love the olive bar… Some locations have the containers that are divided into 4 sections. I use those for sampling olives. I mean, this way I don’t leave with more cost to Whole Foods for containers than I actually spent on olives. Besides it is easier to store them in my fridge as well. SILVERMEDALPODIUM: In the store I am most familiar(Kahala, HI) with they make turkey stew. I am not sure if they carry it here, but if they do make a simple pot pie from it. Pour the stew into a Pyrex vessel, then carefully pour Bisquick biscuit mix over the top of it and bake as per instructions. THAT, my friends is a simple, flavorful and truly amazing meal! If you shop here regularly you will probably opt to use your own gluten free, soy, organic, kale and acai infused biscuit mix with acorn milk baked on moon rocks and basted with 70 dollar honey on a solar BBQ mounted to the roof of the Getty compound, but hey that is cool too. :-) NEAT&CLEAN These stores are always neat and meticulously clean and I have never really spotted an employee sweeping up or organizing shelves while inside one of them. That is amazing in a Chris Angel kind of way. That’s it the next time I go into one of those stores I am mounting one of those motion activated trail-side cameras to capture wildlife on film… Just because I want to prove that people do clean this store and it is not some kind of black magic that no one sees.

For the savvy shopper, you are probably going to find their pricing much too intimidating, so I understand why some of you find it off-putting; however, don’t think you’ll be able to deny the quality. And that’s why you come here: For the quality. Their meats, cheeses, breads, organic isle and delicious homemade sandwiches are in a league higher than Ralph’s(and I love Ralph’s too). Notable items of interest: Their delicious homemade stews that, if you take a cup, can sample. Their gourmet sandwiches Pizza Butterscotch pudding Salad bar, already made Misses: Dil potato salads(have only the American variety with bacon) Green beans are too expensive at 8.99 a pound

I’ve a love /hate and completely unbreakable relationship with Whole Paycheck. This location is one of my favorites, the store is bigger, and easier to navigate than some others. They’ve got a juice bar, great prepared food section and a dedicated space for cooking demos, which I’ve enjoyed here on occasion. It’s also the closest one to my house, so lucky me. I can find organic, free range grass fed non GMO gluten free sustainable Everything here, but my visits are usually for staples, like eggs and milk, a few specialty items, and organic produce if I’ve not been to the farmer’s market. The parking lot is the stuff of nightmares, especially on a Sunday afternoon. I often see hipsters get out of their Priuses(Whats the plural of Prius, Priii?) shouting and looking like they are about to go to blows over a parking space.

Probably the only Whole Foods in Los Angeles where you don’t have to worry about parking. It’s across the street from The Grove, and shares a parking lot with a CVS, Ross and other small shops. Parking is free and you don’t even have to worry about getting anything validated or anything. I don’t grocery shop at this location, but I often come here after work for the buffet or before work for a coffee. I usually order an almond milk latte and it’s so cheap. It’s under $ 4 for a large and I always get 2 extra shots. Their dairy substitutes include: almond(unsweetened or sweetened), soy, coconut, hemp and rice. There’s no extra charge to substitute it either. This drink easily costs $ 6, if you were to get it at Starbucks. Anyways, the staff is super friendly. One dude even went out of his way to give me a generous sample of the acai sorbet.

Love my local Whole Foods. They have a large beer selection and hot food section. What more could one want? Just kidding. But really, I enjoy coming to this Whole Foods when I am craving 2 pizza slices for $ 6, a warm meal from the hot food bar, a corn muffin or large chocolate chip cookie, some Craft beer, fancy produce, or I just don’t want to drive to a different grocery store and I’m at CVS next door.

Dropping a star because on two recent visits here where the Seafood Department(my one-time standby) fell flat. About a week ago, I got about a half pound of the Atlantic Salmon, cooked medium, to go. This is something I’ve done with this WF many, many times.(And not just with Salmon — trout, et al). Salmon’s typically been perfectly cooked(‘Mediterrean’) and delicious. On this occasion, it was cooked on the outside, but raw in the middle. So, after a couple bites(while eating on premises), I brought it back. They apologized, and said they’d re-do it. Well, they did, and it was better — but, um, a few minutes past medium. It was still pretty moist and not awful, so I just ate it and left a little grumpy. A couple days ago, I returned and thought maybe I’ll try something different. I had less time so instead picked out a handful of Blue Point oysters from the new-to-me seafood do-it-yourself station. The Seafood guy(not from the week before) said he’d be happy to shuck them for me. Alas, two of the four didn’t open for me. I had to return to the counter(again) to fix the problem). And, all four oysters were hacked up in the middle, making eating them a piecemeal experience. Ugh. So, I don’t know if Saturdays are just bad days or what. I haven’t been to this WF in awhile, and the guys I worked with both weeks were new to me, at least. But, I think they have a problem here. And I hope it gets figured out because when it’s on, it’s great. A simple quick relatively inexpensive way for some seafood to be cooked/prepared for you to be enjoyed right away. I’m still a fan of the Produce department — they offer their opinions and samples, if asked. Great apples, avocados, et al.

I’ll only go to this Whole Foods if I’m right next to it and on the convenient side of the street. The pedestrians from the farmers market & The Grove and the traffic makes this location so hard to get to. Parking sucks a lot too. That said, the people working behind the seafood counter are extra helpful and friendly. They even stepped out from behind the counter to show me trays of uni. At a lot of places, getting their attention & help is an arduous quest. This location carries a lot more product than the new DTLA location too.

This is a great, convenient location of Whole Foods in LA right by the Grove. I’ve never had an issue with parking no matter what day or time I decide to come, although the lot is normally quite packed. The layout of the store is well thought out, and they are always well-stocked with my favorite items(dried apple slices, Papa Steve’s bars, spinach cakes, and Chameleon Cold‑Brew obviously). Their frozen foods section is also full of healthy options, and the produce is always fresh. I need to continue trying new deli options, but so far all of the items have been great, especially the tofu sticks, curried broccoli salad, and kale salad. The checkout experience is normally pretty painless, making Whole Foods an all-around good experience and my go-to grocery store lately! Keep doing what you’re doing…

Decent Whole Foods location. Parking is probably the worst aspect, but in truth, you can usually always find a spot even at the busiest time. The salad and hot food bar selection is enormous and more interesting than most locations. The bulk food section is MASSIVE. The clientele is a little dicey, this is a crossroads of the world type of location — hello Farmer’s Market is across the street! Even with the messy parking lot and iffy mixed clientele, sitting outside at a table is quite pleasant. LOVE the 5 items or less checkout. More stores need to have one of these.

With all the great places to eat in LA, of course, I end up at Whole Foods. #predictable Hello, hugeeee Whole Foods. — What was not predictable was the amazing bulk bins here. Some of the best and most unique options I’ve ever seen. Highlights were the pb and j granola which was #amazeballs and also the sesame granola. Both were never before seen items. — Hot food bar had some of my faves. A few different cauliflower variations, eggplant, and it was quite large. — Produce and shelf items were solid. Fortunately for my friend, I didn’t subject her to a full stroll down the aisles. — Seating outside is somewhat limited, but we were able to find a spot. — Parking. Whole Foods has its own lot… scoreeee. The lot was pretty crowded, but considering LA parking, one should be thankful for a lot. Solid location!

Decent Whole Foods. It has been well-stocked with good produce. Checkout has been relatively painless, too. Both of these are a surprise to me considering some of the issues I talk about below. Maybe I have just been lucky. What I don’t like: — parking is a pain, and the parking lot is poorly designed. Expect delays. — always crowded, from annoyingly so to MADHOUSE(don’t go around lunchtime) — employees can be less than friendly(probably because of the crowds) I will be back because of the location, but I do not go out of my way to get to this one.

An adequate Whole Foods for most purposes. The salad bar is a bit small and the hot food selection was mostly depleted at 8PM, but then again I am spoiled by Whole Foods HQ(3 floors of yuppie orgasm-inducing goods and heartattack-inducing prices). They have black rice sushi but like other WF’s, it’s only for vegan rolls. Wonder why? Why can’t I yuppy-fy my tuna avocado, WF?!?

After being spoiled with the Whole Foods Arroyo in Pasadena, there is no comparison. The reason I’m even reviewing this place is because the selection of flowers is amazing. I stopped by one day to grab a few other things while I was in the area and I was immediately drawn to this gorgeous tropical flower bouquet with lilies(it was around Easter) and birds of paradise. Obviously I purchased it($ 25) and then the next week went looking for something similar at my WF with no luck. I was recently in the area again and found the same arrangement as well as some other great flowers & filler like ornamental kale, cymbidium orchids & aster solidago. These are not normally found at groceries stores so I was pretty happy to see these here. If you’re looking for a great selection of fresh flowers, this is your store.
