This location is disrespectful to vegetarians … hiding bacon in the deli dishes. I was disgusted when i chomped into plain potato salad to find meat inside … no labeling to ID the ingredients. Do not shop Whole Foods deli if you have standards for your life. For a store that positions itself to cater to lifestyle shoppers, Whole Foods is inconsiderate to not be clear on vegetarian dishes. No way will I subject myself to their food in the future. This disrespect for the vegetarian is a store policy that made me throw-up.

PRODUCE ======== * Occasionally they have young whole coconut. I love that! Stick a straw in it, and close your eyes. Mmmm. * Cut berries and melons are way overpriced, but super convenient. JUICES ===== * Evolution and Naked Juices. Wahoo! NUTS ===== * Love their mixed nut packs: Strider’s Pack, Island Breeze, Raw Delight. SEAFOOD ======== * $ 1 oysters on Fridays, and they shuck ‘em for you! * Super fresh selection of wild caught fish BUTCHER ======== * Grass-fed, organic, it’s all here. SUSHI ===== * Eh, not so impressive. I prefer Bristol Farms. PREPAREDFOODS ============== * Yes, the hot bar is awesome! Turkey chili is surprisingly good. * Deli salads are great. I like the shaved brussel sprouts salad. Some items are overly sweet; wish they would fix that. CHEESE/CHARCUTERIE ================== * One of my major downfalls is cheese. I just can’t resist it. All kinds. * There’s this spectacular one: it looks like, and has the consistency of brie, but there’s no rind, and is brown on the outside. Something«chablis.» It’s unbearably pungent, but so delicious, albeit an acquired taste.(Pairs well with 365 brand garlic & herb water crackers) * Olive bar has a wide selection. * Parmesan Crisps are my new fave Whole Foods discovery. These are stupid good. BEER ==== * Ballast Point grapefruit beer, Ballast Point grapefruit beer, Ballast Point grapefruit beer HUMMUS ======= * organic Hope spicy avocado hummus FREEZER ======= * 365 Brand: Carribean Mix popsicles; Mango popsicles * McConnell’s ice cream: Eureka lemon and marionberries CASHIERS ======== * Always super friendly and personable REUSABLEBAGS ============= * I’m kinda obsessed with these. I especially love my insulated Santa Barbara one. PARKING ======= * The attendants are super sweet. They often bring me a shopping cart when I arrive, and help me load up my car or come to collect my cart when I’m done. I just think that’s so lovely of them.

Store is small get over it negatives. Place is clean fresh and friendly. They absolutely do the best they can with the space both inside and outside. Staff is friendly. Feel welcomed everytime I walk in the door. Sometimes the lines get bad and the prices are out of whack. But it’s whole foods I get it.

Yes there are bigger whole foods… But this whole foods definitely has a neighborhood feel and it’s so easy to navigate. Good people watching and everyone is real friendly and happy wandering around. Hot food bar is sub-par, but this isn’t a restaurant so people need to cut some slack! As a neighborhood market that offers tons of healthy options and speedy check out lines — this location delivers

I’m reviewing a cake I got for my son’s birthday which happened to fall on thanksgiving. I ordered a quarter sheet carrot cake online for $ 12.99. It was so cheap that I didn’t think it would be very good or they would charge me more at the store. That was not the case. It was huge and very delicious. The cream cheese frosting is very rich but not too sweet like a crappy grocery store cake usually is. The service was fast despite it being thanksgiving morning. I will be buying more cakes from whole foods!

This location is the first Whole Foods in Los Angeles. It was also the first store to bring Titos vodka into LA. I’ve been coming here since I was a kid. Now this has become my go to favorite location. This is overall the easiest location with the best selection. Sure, Wilshire/23 and Lincoln/Rose are much larger and have much more. but They are a huge hassle to park and get in. It’s a production — you go to those stores when you wanna buy a ton of stuff in bulk. Then you have former Wild Oats locations like 14th/Montana and 5th/Wilshire — loved Wild Oats, but their stores are too compact and tight. No space to breathe. And as smaller stores, have less selection. The original Whole Foods in LA — Brentwood has enough selection for most of your needs, easy parking(with friendly, helpful attendants), quick lines, nice staff, and the best hot food bar — they specialize in All American comforts and they do it well albeit very expensive(8.49 a lb). For quick and easy, come here.

My husband and I love this little neighborhood Whole Foods! Even though it’s small, we always leave with what we needed(even hard to find ingredients). The checkers are friendly; we always look for«Adam with the cool beard» and stand in his line. He takes a genuine interest in each customer, while still providing quick and high quality service. Highly recommend this little neighborhood gem to anyone!

This is one of the most disappointing WF locations. I went by at a prime time 6pm and it was a mess. All the shelves in the prepared foods were in disarray. The selection was kinda lacking. I know it gets busy but it was so disorganized that it was almost unappetizing. I’ll drive a bit further to get a clean organized location. Staff was friendly.

If you read my earlier review(and picture evidence) on the mislabeling of Salmon at Brentwood in April 2014: Some Justice reported today in the news: «In June of 2014, Whole Foods paid a whopping $ 800,000 in penalties after it was found to be overcharging customers throughout California. In that probe, it was found that products’ weights were mislabeled. «By adding the weight of containers and packaging, especially on higher-priced, per-pound items like seafood and meats and even prepared food, the extra charges can add up fast, and yet be hidden from consumers,» Santa Monica Deputy City Atty. Adam Radinsky said in a statement. Even after paying hefty fines, at least one consumer noticed that he was accidentally charged 71 cents for an empty food container, indicating the chain had not changed its practices. — But it looks like they are still at: 71 cents for an empty container! There is a reason it’s called, «Whole Paycheck.»

Several factors make this location sub prime… 1.) The baked goods are just nasty… dry and gross. 2.) Bad, bruised fruit is covered with a sticker for the unsuspecting shopper. 3.) Today I saw a lady pick salad toppings up with her bare hands and not use the tongs… on several toppings. I told the clerk who did not care… I don’t like this location.

A bit on the smaller side of course, but it has all the basics, including frequent James Worthy sightings. :) Small parking lot, but not impossible to get a spot. Considering how small the store is, it has a relatively large fresh flower section.

Everyone is super friendly and helpful. Last week they were out of Yogurt Parfaits so a lady by the juice bar made me one from scratch on the spot. She didn’t have to but she did! 5 stars for her! I also love the food specials Whole Foods has outside. The $ 4 burgers and $ 2 hotdogs on Fridays are the best. Can’t beat the price! The food selection at the buffet station inside, however, is meh compared to other locations.

My review is solely based on the fact that there was chocolate cake featured next to the dressings on the salad bar today. Just the thought of all the spandex clad women of Brentwood~fresh from either some overpriced class or dermatological procedure~having to struggle with that tiny bit of temptation was enough. Thank you.

I like this whole foods :) It is one of their smaller locations but they make up for it in many ways.(Also, Brentwood has very expensive rent and it wouldn’t be profitable to have a huge location here) They have someone cooking/serving hot meals in the entrance(burgers, etc) which makes it a fun experience that smells delicious. They have the cutest outdoor seating area as well as parking employees that help you navigate. AND they always have a great variety of self serve hot meals. I’d recommend coming here!

This review is not for their selection which is good. It is not for their quality and location, both good . But their prices are unreasonable and too high. Yes we live on the westside and yes we have money but we hate to get overcharged ! Also whole Foods is also selling GMO, that’s A zero star !!!

«Star Sighting» This WF is close to my job so I usually come to this location when I am guilt ridden to eat healthy… Pros: This location is clean with friendly staff. I had a really good Turkey burger from the grill coupled with 2 star sightings that would fit every cliché of living in LA. Cons: The parking is horrendous which prevents me from frequenting this location. Will go back…

The Whole Foods I’m accustomed to frequenting is much bigger than this location, but they still have a nice selection of the necessities. The one thing I really don’t like about this one is that the salad bar is extremely inconsistent. Some days they’ll have amazing blackened chicken and other yummy selections, and the next it’ll be bare bones! This location is extraordinarily busy, especially during peak lunch hours. They so have a small parking lot off to the side of you can grab a spot. They have ample seating on San Vicente but it’s so busy and the road is super loud so it’s not the most enjoyable. The staff is usually quick and nice, but overall this is a get in, get out location!

Small, perfect for my needs and convenient. As Whole Foods goes, this place has everything I need in a pint size whole foods version. This is definitely a smaller store but it still has all my staples, loads of organic options, great veggies and fruit, and weekly deals. My dinner last night was some outrageously delicious buck a shuck Oysters(current Friday special, $ 1/oyster) as well as Rocq Macarons! They were perfect with the beer I had chilling in the fridge All the staff I met here have been wonderful. I usually go in the evening or early morning. If you are in the area, it is a perfect pit stop.

This location is extremely busy. And parking is just as crazy! I come here to buy lunch or dinner to go. Employees are nice and helpful. I am able to navigate through the aisles easily. Deli section holds a variety of cold and hot items. Perfect for a quick bite. The juice bar is perfect for a refreshing quench.

This Whole Foods is too small to sustain itself as a real place that you would go to get what you want to get at Whole Foods. There’s not enough parking; each item of produce doesn’t get enough space to have quality stuff left at the end of the day; the salad selection is limited; the beer selection is limited compared to Westwood and especially 3rd and Fairfax… Basically, it’s too little of a good thing, and it becomes a frustrating thing as a result.
