Recently ordered flowers for family, the attendant on the phone was very gracious and friendly. The parties that the flowers were delivered to were very pleased. Would definitely buy from them again.

I stumbled upon this place when I wanted to bring flowers to a friend who just had her first baby. Cathy did an amazing job and made a beautiful bouquet on the spot. This will definitely be my go-​to florist from now on!

It isn’t often that I review a business on Unilocal (in fact, I think this is my first), but then again, it isn’t often that I receive a hand-​written thank you for my patronage. And I didn’t order anything particularly extravagant to warrant special treatment, either — just a bouquet for a sick friend in the hospital. While I didn’t see the floral arrangement and can’t attest to its design or quality, my friend appreciated it. What I CAN attest to is that my order was delivered on time, and that Cathlyn appreciates my business and went the extra mile to let me know. And that’s something very rare in my experience. I would order again from her in a heartbeat.

I looked on Unilocal only to get the number for this place I’ve been going to for years and noticed it had some bad reviews which sparked my curiosity. I can only speak from experience but the poor reviews are the complete opposite of my experience.
Every time I’ve gone in they have been able to make beautiful arrangements based off my vision, which honestly isn’t that helpful as I’m not a florist. Considering that it’s West LA and most of the flower shops in the area want your firstborn for some roses, I think it’s very reasonably priced.
I called today with an emergency order and it was delivered less than 2 hours later. It was better and cheaper than I hoped for. Every time I call Cathy always asks how I am and how my frequent flower recipient is before mentioning anything about flowers. To me that and reasonably priced beautiful flowers are the reason I don’t need to search around West LA for a different flower spot.

I had written a review for this shop but have discovered that they were not to blame for poor workmanship. It was another shop of the same name. Sorry!

I received a bouquet for my birthday from here which was horrendous. Whoever made it should have their florist card revoked. You’re in the wrong business!
The ironic part was that it was just supposed to be just irises but the girl upsold my friend and talked him into getting a bouquet and then proceeded to do an awful job of pairing the irises with some strange yellow flower that they didn’t go with at all. On top of that, she tossed tons and tons of plain greens in there to make it look full, full, fuller then charged him like $ 80 dollars (for 7 irises, 5 weird yellow flowers and tons of nothingnesses I could have pulled from my yard).
The bouquet was so ugly I felt like I wanted to cry because the florist had destroyed the beauty of the iris. On my birthday no less.
Response to Comment by Owner: It was horribly ugly. There is no excuse for a florist to ever send something like that out, so stop trying to dodge the facts. I wouldn’t refer you for my worst enemy’s funeral.

I wanted to give this flowershop a second chance before reviewing them to be fair. But once should have been enough. The first time, the lady working was friendly but I was not impressed with the selection and the prices were just ridiculous compared to other shops I’ve been to. But I figured, help the new local shop and plus it’s closer to my place than the usual shop I go to.
Today I went in there again due to convenience. Should’ve drove the extra mile to Sada’s!
1. Selection is not impressive
2. The chick working does extremely sloppy work
3. I paid 27 for some daisies. Daisies. Not roses, not lilies, but $ 27 for the cheapest flower a flowershop carries.
I worked at a flowershop for 3 years so I know prices and I know quality of work and this shop has neither.
The girl started arranging my hand bouquet in such a sloppy manner that I had to ask her if I can do it myself. She didn’t seem pleased about that but I was not about to give someone a sloppy half-@$$ed bouquet of flowers.
That 1 star goes for the smell of the shop and the nice touch with the rose petals in the hand bouquet.
Anyway, don’t waste your money here. Go down overland and give your business to the other family owned flower shops in Culver City.
I can take the no talent in flower arranging but I won’t take it with those absolutely ridiculous prices.

I called this shop the day before Valentines Day to order flowers for my daughter. I had already reviewed their website and found a nice gift for $ 59. I told the lady who took the order (Cathy) what I wanted and she said they were busy, but would complete the order and email me the total including tax and delivery. I did not receive an email. My daughter called and thanked me for the really nice flowers. A few weeks later I got my credit card bill which was $ 234. I called the shop and spoke to a woman who said their procedure was to always give the customer the full amount hitting their credit card to authorize. She said she would look into it and call back. Instead Cathy called back a day later quite indignant. She said she remembered me and knew exactly what I ordered. She told me it was a $ 199 bouquet including 18 red roses. I definitely did not order that. So I checked with my daughter and she did in fact receive that. I ask Cathy to talk with the owner. She said he was only there infrequently. I asked her to have him call me and he has not. I doubt she ever gave him my name or mentioned this. It is sort of a bait and switch designed to increase sales probably for someone on commission or who is measured on sales. Unfortunately for this store this women is doing an immense disservice treating customers this way. I would not take the chance of using them again no matter how good the product!

I wanted to get my employees flower for Valentine’s day and asked Cathy to give an assortment that would not outshine their husband’s gifts. She gave a beautiful half dozen arrangement with pink and red flowers. I would say it was the perfect match. She was very responsive by phone and email, which made everything very easy. Her site is right by the freeway off of Overland that made pickup very convenient.
