Came here for food since we missed last seating for LA prime. Food was terrible. Filet mignon was dry and margherita pizza tasted like frozen microwave pizza.

Super excited to come here for my birthday. I made a reservation a few days in advance from open table. The hotel is located in Downtown LA, so if you can’t find parking, try the valet. My reservation was for 10:30 p.m. on a Monday. I knew I would have no problem finding parking. The hotel is currently under construction, so be prepared for any slight detours. We valeted, and the lounge validated. The lounge is located on the 36th floor, use the Red elevator. We had the wings, shrimp lettuce wraps, the pepperoni and sausage pizza, and fresh oysters. I also had a Lychee martini and a mixed berry drink that came with the skull souvenir glass. The overall atmosphere of the lounge is very chill and laid back. The host was beyond friendly and accommodating with my birthday requests. It doesn’t really matter where you sit in the lounge because the entire floor rotates. I believe it takes about 2 hours to complete a rotation, however if you just want to you see yourself move, pick a building and by the end of the your meal, you will be elsewhere guaranteed. Everything is a bit pricey for basic food however I expected that with Downtown LA in a high-rise hotel. Valet with validation was only $ 7 though. My only disappointment was that the waiter failed to mention last call. I understand we had a late reservation, but I was looking forward to trying to banana crème brûlée. Overall, this place was okay. It’s a great place for a casual beginners date. I may consider coming back in another year or two.

The drinks and food come out of here are great but the views are even better! Posted up at the 33rd floor of the Westin Hotel in DTLA is this really cool revolving bar. By revolving, yes, the entire floor rotates giving you a 360* view of our glorious city. I recommend a Tom Collins with a fondue and of course, we can’t forget the complementary Chex Mix.

Brought my girlfriend here for dinner. We happened to catch the sunset then see the city lights light up. The views here are definitely something worth seeing. The food and drinks we ordered were delicious. Will definitely come back here.

This is another one of my favorite places in all of Downtown LA, and a perfect place to bring a date, or out-of-towners, you are looking to impress. It’s a revolving cocktail lounge on top of the Westin hotel, boasting breathtaking views of the entire city. In order to get to it, you have to take a crazy glass elevator up, which is a whole experience in itself. The cocktail lounge, located just below LA Prime restaurant, revolves slowly as you drink. While the cocktails are above average, I normally just go for the beer. Prices here are above average, but you can’t get views like this anywhere else. The ambiance and atmosphere make everything worth it. This is definitely a must see attraction in downtown, and a lounge you won’t be disappointed in. I highly recommend this place to everyone. I will be back.

I guess this is what you would call panty dropping views. Perfect place for a celebratory event or an intimate date night. +++VIEWS: The main reason you should be coming here is for the views of DTLA. That’s the most remarkable thing about this place. It’s sort of a hidden gem, located on the 35th floor of the Westin and the whole floor rotates so you can get a 360 view. +Drinks: They are a-ok. They have a full bar and wine and cocktails. Not the best cocktails I’ve had but not the worst. +Easy seating and not too crowded. Pretty much all the seating is facing the huge windows so you’re good to go. –Décor is definitely dated. But with that view, seems to fade in the background and it didn’t bother me so much. –A little bit on the pricey end because you’re paying for the view.

«I say, nothin’ comes from dreamers but dreams… I sayyyy, …sittin’ idle in our boat… while everyone else is down the stream. Nothin’ comes from talkers but sound… We can talk all we want to, …but the world still goes around and round.» #Tevin_Campbell — __________________________________________________ I swear I love that song and keepin’ it 100, I love this place just as much! Who wouldn’t give a 5 star review to a place located upon the 35th floor of the Westin Hotel in DTLA, providing 360 views all the while oscillating over a 90 – 120 minute timeframe??? Hands down,… I believe I just located my new favorite hangout! This place blew my mind! Repeat: BUH-LEWWWW my mind!!! Initially I’d planned on spending the last day of my 4 day — holiday weekend in bed with a glass of Pinot while bundled in a high threadcount duvet and watching repeats of Will & Grace; that is, …until«he» recommended we go out and hit the streets. Let’s just say that… the«streets» led us to the Westin Bonaventure Vodka Bar, and the smile upon my face now as I think back to last night’s «date night» was all the more reason to furnish it with 5 stars. * As most have alleged, this place is an UNDENIABLE find. As opposed to Ubering our way over, we drove and not knowing what to expect in DTLA, we anticipated parking being a nightmare. As luck would have it however, valet was only $ 10.00 and from there you promenade in to take an escalator down a floor. For what it’s worth, this place made me extremely happy to be a Starwood Preferred Guest. This hotel is breathtaking from bottom to top and speaking of such… so begins your journey. The«red» elevators are the only elevators enabled to provide access to this particular portion of the hotel and upon entering — you actually travel an astounding 35 feet up —- at what appears to be the speed of light!!!, only to arrive to the top and have to walk back down a floor to the lounge itself. Talk about«keeping up w/the Jetsons»! Entering the lounge is just as decadent as sampling a cocktail there, as upon entry your eyes immediately take focus upon the 360 degree, landscaped topography that Los Angeles has to offer… I swear this city is so gorgeous… from 34 stories up. Thereon… — Customer service — check — Ambiance — DOUBLE check — Food — Meh…(the booze more than made up for it) — as nothing here food-wise was really all that monumental. Ordered the cheese fondue as well as the goat cheese/chicken quesadilla and the cheese actually arrived luke warm(had to request it be reheated) and the quesadilla was reminiscent of El Pollo Loco. The burger that we split was just… okay– YET… From the margaritas to the martinis and Heaven help us, those mai tai’s(my personal favorite), this place just seems to oooOOOOOze«swanky»! I/we ordered EVERY drink on the«specials» menu(not uncommon) and NEITHER came up short(although the bill was quite large)!!! Add on the rotation of the room to our booze intake and we were solidified to have a great evening! We were actually quite tipsy as the restaurant tilted, haha, yet I can wholeheartedly attest to the food having been so «mediocre» that we were still famished upon departing. For what it’s worth, you don’t exactly come to a place like this for the food — – My recommendation is visiting this place at dusk(they’re not open mornings as is) as the panoramic view will definitely NOT disappoint!!! And the best advice that I can give is to «keep your eyes on your m/purse(s). I sat my «murse» on the floor near our table and had to wait an hour and a ½ just for the place to complete its rotation and return me my bag!!!

Mindblown. First of all, it’s a 360 degree REVOLVING rooftop bar. How cool is that? I can’t seem to wrap my head around how the elevator is installed in this place. After a couple of drinks, the rotation of this place definitely got me even more tipsy than I should be. Still… this place is so cool. Very large and spacious setting and I loved the classy ambience. Also one of the best views I’ve had of DTLA. I used to work on the 58th floor of the US bank tower and that doesn’t even beat the beautiful 360 degree view of LA night lights. Got their special berry drink listed at the bottom of the menu and it was pretty good. But really, it’s vodka and a nice view. How could that ever be bad?

I came here with a friend to grab some food and drinks before heading out to the Greek Theatre. It was my first time venturing downtown since I’ve moved here, so I was very excited to experience the buzz of the area. The place is very large and open. The setting reminds you of one of those indoor shopping centers with a spacious center that when you look above you, you can see the floors of shops/restaurants above you. That or a casino. At the bottom in the center is the bar. There are some tables to sit at surrounding the bar, or you can sit at the round table bar itself(what we opted to do). Our bartender was not as friendly or cheerful as I’ve seen the staffmembers at the Westin to be, but maybe it was a long Sunday or something. He was more of a man of few words; only his words weren’t witty or philosophical. He was just there. And not there. A lot more not there than I would have expected him to be, especially since we were right in front of him. He also wasn’t as attentive or mindful of details either(like giving us one glass mini bottle of Heinz ketchup to share instead of two, when we both had meals with fries). The menu itself is pretty short when offering food and alcohol selections. It’s an open bar, so they can mix whatever cocktail you desire. The prices are steep(as expected). A 6 oz. glass of wine will cost you $ 8 – 9. A 9 oz. wine will cost you $ 13 – 15. Cocktails are ~$ 15. They don’t have too many burger/sandwich options, maybe 4? My burger and fries were about $ 16 without tax. What did I get for that price, you ask? A dressied up version of a Steak & Shake burger. So not as bad as the worst 24-hour diner burger you’ve had, but not much better. Usually in these types of establishments, the hotel bar food is actually decent for their price. All the burgers I’ve had elsewhere at these type of venues have had much more presentable(and edible) burgers. Their buns are thick with a nice toasted edge, and they have that gloss to them like you see in the tv ads. And the patty offered is a good sizable portion, and you struggle to open your mouth all the way to take everything in one bite. By contrast, well, I literally had a rather flat, untoasted, unfluffy bun, a burger patty that was comparable to a quarter pounder burger, with some lettuce, tomato and dill pickle on the side. The burger itself was chewy and tasted like they threw in some extra unknown ingredients to save on money. And the fries? Uncrispy, without flavor, and the portion was pitiful. Imagine when you go to order some fries, and they give you that one lone scoop onto your plate. And then you’re a bit sad at the # of fries you’ve received, and you secretly hope that they’re going to give you at least one more scoop to make it more of a hill of fries vs. a plain of fries. And then they DO go in for that second scoop, and you’re like, «YES, score!» But what they do instead is scoop 2 more fries and then add it to your plate. Then hand the plate with a plain of fries to you. THAT was the amount of fries I received. And hence, that was why I was able to eat everything with that one pitiful mini bottle of ketchup. It may have been a good thing, because the fries were bland too. It tasted like it essentially cut up a potato and fried it. Maybe it’s an upscale Californian dining thing to just not flavor their fries and allow you to salt them as you see fit? Either way, I wasn’t expecting the lack of flavor and portions for a $ 16 meal. The only good thing I could come up with is that I saved myself 800 calories or so from the meager portions and saving on the carbs I would have eaten had I received a restaurant-style burger bun. It’s a nice environment, but I would much prefer to spend $ 15 for a cocktail overlooking the beach than overlooking my subpar meal. And I always thought that you can’t go wrong with any food in Cali, because all food in Cali is good, even their fast food joints. And for the 10+ trips I’ve traveled to Cali over the course of my life, I couldn’t disagree with them. Whelp, I guess now I can.

The worse service I have had at any restaurant on a Sunday with full hotel to have 2 servers in the whole restaurant. we were told it will be 1 hr to get a seat when the place was ½ full, after talking to the manager nothing was done. only after I asked for the general manager info we got a table. At the hotel — bar or this type of caliber you would think you will have a better level of customer service? Very disappointing !!! :((((

The mint mojito here was Bawmbbbbb dot com. Usually it’s always a hit or miss with it whenever I order it else where. But my friend had ordered it twice here and it was goooood both time ! Just because I don’t taste any alcohol… I’m not a big fan of cocktail drinks. I ordered the Cabernet Sauvignon. I’m a red wine drinker. It’s way easier to drink than cocktails to me :) They take a while to bring out the drinks but it’s worth the wait. The room we all sit in actually rotates. I didn’t think we were at first but I noticed that the buildings weren’t at the same spot as they were when I looked out the window. The windows are the big panoramic ones all around. It’s pretty nice just to sit and drink here and just kill time. The elevator ride up was pretty neat. It’s on the outside and as u go up, you get to see a nice view of Los Angeles. :)

Food is somewhat expensive but is not bad and drinks are nice and in par in price. Service is okay. Had to park somewhere other than in the hotel because valet was full :(. You’re paying for the view in the end.

This bar has the best view in Downtown Los Angeles! It has a 360 dg rotating floor! Come for that and you won’t be disappointed!!! Food is ok though and drink are good. But the view is what you go for. I always try and make it there when I’m downtown!

The food is decent, but you don’t really come here for the food, you come for the experience. You can’t make reservations, but the bar area doesn’t get that crowded. You should have no problem just walking in. Especially later into the night. They have a great selection of lots of unique cocktails. The servers are super friendly and the service is quick. If you’re visiting Downtown or even if you’ve lived in LA your entire life, you have to drop by this place at least once. Great date location.

The food is average, but the view is what you pay for. It’s on the 35th floor and a very fast elevator takes you there. Oh and the whole place moves! Very slowly. I think we got plenty of pictures because every corner has a great view. Oysters– small. Average Trout dip– amaze balls! I dipped everything from the crackers it came with to fries. Corn dog pups– what you expect from a corn dog. The fries on the other hand… Hard and very thin. Chicken wings– everyone who ordered it seem to like it but I think it was alright. I thought they burned it a little and then just drowned it in sauce. Shrimp cocktail– good. The sauce was magical. Lychee martini– my personal favorite It’s a great place for a romantic dinner. It really is a cool place to try at least once.

Stayed at the Westin and came up to the 35 floor for some drinks! I ordered a lemon drop and it came with rock sugar on a stick instead of having a sugar rim. Lemon drop was decent, loved that it came with rock sugar(and actually asked the waiter for 2 more sticks, which he was happy to supply). The service here was really great. We would get checked on just the perfect amount. Loved how the bar rotates. Lots of great seating all around the place, and it’s quite beautiful at sunset/night time. The bar completes a full rotation in about 2 hours and there is no seat that is a bad seat!

Sitting in the center of the Westin hotel, it is quiet and calm. Trail mix is offered while you drink. We had a couple glasses of wine before turning in for the evening. The server did not seem too fond of his job. Not a smile for even a moment. To my surprise others around us were eating food that looked pretty appetizing. Had I not already come from dinner I might have ordered something to eat as well. The cheapest bottle of wine on the menu was around $ 35. It was convenient of course to charge to the room.
