Westchester Pharmacy

I’m not sure why Unilocal hid my first review, but I wanted to update it with something more recent. I moved all my aunt’s medications to Westchester Pharmacy a couple of years ago, but we recently ran into a glitch with her insurance. They were on the phone with me quickly to let me know of the issue and priced her medications very competitively when I told them we had to pay cash while I worked out the insurance issue. The pharmacist is always available if you have any questions and there is never a long wait.

I highly recommend this pharmacy that I have been going to for years. They always go out of their way to make sure you have what you need. Easy to get in and out when In a hurry.

My Great-​Aunt and Great-​Uncle have been going to Westchester Pharmacy for years, maybe decades now, and they would never go anywhere else. The pharmacy has been serving the locals for forever and has a loyal, albeit older, clientele.
Recently, I took the Greats to pickup their usual prescriptions and grab some cold meds for a flu bug that wouldn’t go away. Talking to the pharmacist (I forget her name, but I think she’s the owner), I was recommended a few quick fixes for minor things that had been bothering the Greats. (Sadly, I am getting old, and my grouchy body is failing me, too.) There’s something special about a pharmacist who will take the time to come out and chat with us — literally, she stepped out from behind the high and mighty counter and walked around the store with us, grabbing little things here and there. Chatting for a good thirty minutes, I could tell that she genuinely cared for everyone’s well-​being and wasn’t just trying to sell anything to make a few bucks.
The pharmacy itself is small and specializes in just drugs and other medical needs — all at very reasonable prices. Thankfully, unlike the heartless big box pharmacies, you won’t have to wade through aisles and aisles of junk food and useless toys just to find what you need. That’s especially appreciated when you’re sick and tired and grouchy, and all you want is your goshdarn medicine and a warm smile, friendly smile.

excellent service and very quick! Lots of good advice. They rapidly get to know you unlike CVS across the street where it was a different person each time I went in there! I would highly recommend this pharmacy.
