I had to shut down my account and get a new card
Beware, This was the first credit card purchase I had made in weeks.

Cool place to get what you need

After my most recent visit to this store I don’t think I’ll ever be returning. When you walk in everything is cluttered and disorganized. Its not a very welcoming environment. They were not open at the time they were supposed to open. The quality of their merchandise is not the best. Do yourselves a favor and do not waste your time coming to this store. Spend your hard earned money somewhere where it will be valued and you wont get such crappy service. Overall very disappointed with my experience here.

First of all, everything here costs at least twice as much as any other smoke shop in the area. In addition, you’re looking at spending 400−500% that you would pay online. If thats not enough, the staff is incredibly rude and IME are often misinformed about their own products. Being new to the area and not knowing where the other shops were located, I shopped at Voodoo for a while and met the same inflated prices and unsavory customer service time and time again. Naturally I wondered if for some reason they just weren’t particularly fond of me, but my roommate seemed to have the same experience as I did.
In all fairness, they do keep a clean store and my opinion of the prices are reflective of the e cigs, accessories, and several other products that they specialize in. I can’t speak for the glassware etc.

Swung by with a friend because they wanted to pick up some supplies for a get together later tonight.
The storefront was very clean, and there are shelves on shelves of all kinds of glassware and other supplies that you could want.
The owner and workers were all very helpful and pleasant to talk to, the only reason I can’t give this place any higher rating would be because most of the reviews are right in saying that they are a bit pricier than other shops around the area, and definitely more expensive than shops in general.

great selection and reasonable prices! I specifically was looking at hookah supplies, but I noticed they have an extensive collection of glassware. The staff was friendly and patiently helped me buy a hookah, tobacco, coals, etc, going through all the pros and cons of the various brands. I was impressed by how knowledgeable he was (even about the rolling papers I grabbed at the last second). Will definitely come here again, I may have found my go-​to smoke shop in Westwood.

The most expensive hookah store in LA. Every thing is pricey. Charcoal and hookah tobacco are much more expensive than any other place.
The only reason that i come here (which is rare) is because they open late. But when i have the chance to buy my stuff before 10 then i ignore this place for sure.

One star because they have a lot of glass pipes. Good on them for inventory. That’s the only star they get. Customer service was horrendous. The girl behind the counter looked as if she hated her job, her life and the customer. Couldn’t answer any questions without seeming as if she had something better to be doing… uh, sorry but I was the only customer in the shop.
Ridiculous prices. And I mean — 150% what you can buy it for nearly anywhere else. Wouldn’t even go back if it were the last head shop in L.A.. which FYI VooDoo you’re like the millionth so get over yourself.

Matthew, the owner, is absolutely fantastic. Very professional and amiable.
Was looking to make a purchase, gave Matthew a price range, and he really went out of his way to make sure that I walked away with the product that best suited my qualifications.
Would highly recommend this shop if you’re looking for a friend to look out for you.

So this is one of those smoke shops that has a big poster of the back of a topless lady on the front door. This implied nudity disappoints and saddens me. Where are the genuinely totally nude Penthouse centerfolds that I as a heterosexual woman want and need to be surrounded by when I’m trying to buy salvia? Anyway, if that’s what you’re looking for, or if you don’t care or whatever, hey, here’s another store you can go to. For me, I can’t think of a crappier, more uncomfortable store to be high in. I mean, I guess you can go in and pretend you’re travelling back in time to the magical world of «putting up with hippies who were gross about women because that was the only way to get a bong.» It’s really not the only way, though. There are like three other shops within walking distance.

This guy is the nicest salesman there is! He’s flexible and will help you out. Best smoke pen I ever bought!

Friendly staff and a nice selection, but I was seriously overcharged due to lack of management… I wanted to buy those tiny, flower-​shaped glass screens but there was no price or barcode on them in the shop. After management didn’t return his call soon enough, the employee behind the counter decided to charge $ 1 each for them! I could have gotten them for a quarter each at Mayhem a few blocks away, so I consider this a rip-​off.
Research prices before you go in case the employees have no clue!

Update: After writing to the store’s management to complain about this incident, I promptly received a nice email explaining that while nearby stores may charge less for glass flower screens, Voodoo’s price is 99 cents, so the employee didn’t end up overcharging me even though he was guessing. They offered to refund me but I didn’t feel it was necessary. Good to know that they listen and care about people’s experiences! This makes it feel like a safer shopping experience.
