DELICIOUS!!! I work right across the street and I’ve tried numerous items on the menu. Everything is fabulous. I have never been disappointed. The hummus, rice, shirazi, Greek salad, chicken kabob and the cucumber yogurt are all awesome. The staff is friendly and they always deliver on time. You can not go wrong here. Your taste buds will thank you.

The food here is great. The great prices make the food even more tasty. I only take 1 star away for the extremely long delays to take your order, bring your food, bring the check and finally bring your card back!

This place is on point every time.
There’s another Persian place nearby and they have under cooked my chicken kabobs twice in a row), but the kabobs here (chicken breast and ground beef are my favs) have always been cooked just right.

I don’t recommend anyone to eat here. They are super rude, and the food… I’ve tried better food than that. Depends on how you look like they will treat you nice or not.

So after having a terrible experience at a certain Mediterranean restaurant a few blocks away, I had to make my day better. I was on my way to my waxing appointment and it was like the universe was being good to me. I passed by this restaurant and it said «Persian.» All I could think of was, thank goodness! So I walked in and was greeted by a very nice young man. I asked him if the kabob koobideh came with rice, he’s like yes! I told him that at another place I went to they didn’t add it. He laughed and said, «don’t worry I’ll give you some extra rice.» The kabob was juicy and the rice was as fluffy as the clouds! I’m Persian and do know Persian food! I’m so glad I found a new Persian spot to come to. The service was excellent, the food was out in a timely manner and best of all the customers feel appreciated! Merci! (Yes that’s how you say thank you in Farsi as well).

How can you possible advertise Persian cousin with out Tadig.
So far the only place that has it by default is Raffi’s in Glendale

I get lunch from these guys 2 – 3 times a week (I’m clearly not a fan, right?) and it’s the same every time, fast delivery, delicious food, easy ordering. This is where I get my Persian food fix and I doubt I’ll ever get tired of it!

So was looking for a good lunch place that would deliver and while using eat24 Vanak Shandiz appeared on the list.
Placed my order at 10:05am this morning and the food (still warm) arrived at 11:35pm. At first the delivery time after placing my food order was 45 – 60 minutes, reasonable I say to have my food prepped and delivered.
Well after a hour the clock indicator on the eat24 webpage went from 45 – 60 minutes to 120 minutes, kinda weird but was giving this place their time.
15 minutes later a latin man shows up on a bike and asked me if I ordered, said yes and I asked him if I needed to show him the credit card I used or sign something, he just stood there and slowly said aaah no because it says PAID on your receipt. Not sure if he was waiting for a tip (maybe) but at checkout I added a $ 2 tip to my meal.
Ordered the Soltani Plate, consisted of Filet Mignon and ground beef skewers, grilled pepper, grilled tomato and a ¹⁄₈ slice of onion. Basmati Rice, pita bread and shirazi salad.
Filet Mignon was not, more like Filet MigNOT, tasted fine but the quality of meat it was not as indicated, ground beef was fine, both skewers were not dry, they both tasted good.
Basmati Rice is always good in most Mediterranean places, the jalapeño pepper was small and so was the onion portion, the tomato was kinda big.
The Shirazi Salad was refreshing and so was a yogurt topping that was included in my bag.
I have had better experiences but this place is alright, as for the delivery time, well that is just uncalled for since the restaurant is 7 streets away and on bike from their location to my office is a 8 minute bike ride.
It seems it might be the slow takeout service and a very slow bicyclist that added to the 90 minute window.
Would I order from here again maybe but I will make sure to place my order the first minute they open instead of a hour before I take lunch.

I just ordered for delivery and there was a charge for a misc item on the receipt. When I called and asked if there was a delivery charge, the lady said no after she asked for my address. Then when I asked what the misc item charge was for, she said that there is a delivery fee. I asked why when she had just said there wasn’t a charge, and she said there is now…
Sketchy…I’ll order from another kebab place now. I don’t like having random charges on their whim lol.

Before I begin this review please understand that although the food was very good, the delivery service was terrible. It was so bad that the security service asked me to contact the restaurant to request the delivery man never set foot on the establishment again. i did not see who the deliver person because although I quickly made my way to the lobby the momment I received the phone call, he didn’t bother waiting for me to get there and left my food sitting on the counter in the lobby.
The food itself was tasty. We ordered a chikcen breast sandwich, a chicken (dark meat) kabob, a greek salad and humus. They were all decent size portions and everyone in my office seemed to enjoy the food.
I really hope they correct the issue with the delivery person or it will most definitely hurt their business.

This was my first time ordering from this place. Customer Service was not a great experience, ordered for delivery and repeated my order 3 times which is fine. Food was over an hour late, I had called to get the status of my food, the man who answered only said «I don’t know, could be 1 min, could be 10 min» Which wasn’t very informative at all. Most place can track their delivery person easily and I would think they would make more of an effort for a customer waiting over an hour for their meal.
We received our food but our order was wrong. This would be an easy fix to most places who would simply apologize and send the remainder of the order that is missing. Unfortunately not the case. I wasn’t upset or rude when i called as this happens all of the time in the food business. But when I called the man on the phone blamed me for the order being wrong even though I repeated my order 3 times to him when I placed it. When I told him it wasn’t what I had ordered he was upset, continued to blame me and raised his voice. The hassle wasn’t worth correcting our order so I simply hung up with the gentleman on the line.
As for the food that we DID receive, it was decent but not the greatest. I don’t like lemon much but it seemed as though everything had an overpowering lemony flavor. Personally, I prefer city grill who will now get 100% of our business.
I have read these reviews stating that they have excellent customer service perhaps that is because they can’t hide over the phone.
I don’t know how a company like this stays in business or gains clients. They need training on their customer service skills as they have none.

First time here. Awesome food. Juicy soltani!!! Great service here and the prices are really good!

We usually go to Glendale for kabobs and the like, because we found a restaurant out there that we’re pretty loyal to (more on that later).
Decided to give this place a try after I convinced my boy, and I’m glad we did because it was good.
The restaurant happens to be literally next to my girl Roopa who does my brows. We ordered, I got my brows did, and went back to pick up it. Food was good. I especially liked the little salad-​thingy you get with your meal. I’m Mexican so I can appreciate food with lime/​lemons. Everything else wasn’t life changing though.
We’re still pretty hooked on our other kabob restaurant, but when we don’t feel like making the drive to Glendale I’d definitely order from here again.
Parking sucks, so be warned and wait time was just a tad bit too long.

I LOVE THIS PLACE! I found it randomly walking my dog on 9^th with my sister. I live on 9^th on Broadway and was surprised i hadn’t tried it earlier. It seems to be ran by a nice persian family. Oh and they deliver to my work (also downtown) The food is always so fresh and flavorful. I’m pretty boring and always get the chicken breast kabob but man is it good! perfect with the cucumber salad and delicious roasted veggies. I would 100% recommend this place. This is my 3^rd time ordering from here and cant wait for the nice delivery man to show up so i can inhale this meal.

This place was referred by a co-​worker. The service is outstanding. The layout is homey, the aroma is mesmerizing. High quality and perfect quantity. Props to the owner’s and chef! Parking is easy. Definitely coming back soon!

They honestly ROCK, best prices high quality meat, great customer service, parking is not a hassle, friendly environment, its great for downtowns lunchtime and the rush hour, you can eat in or take it to go. All these years I’ve been eating Different Iranian dishes; never once i’ve had food with this quality. People say cooking is an ART and this people are the masters of this ART. Im going back there for sure. A+

Finally found some quality Mediterranean in downtown! I have searched high and low for a great kabob plate in downtown, and I say proudly today that my search has ended.
I was greeted at the door with a warm smile and left with a full belly. Their food was more than reasonably priced for the amount and quality. The best part of my trip was that I found out they CATER!!! I recently ordered for my office and was an instant hit! Thank you guys for the great meal and catering to our offices. Can’t wait to come back!
