I am. Recent transplant patient. Anti rejection meds are very important and must be consistently taken. I placed a order by phone for refills about a week and half before I would run out, they took my credit card # and said I would recieve it in a few days. They never arrived. I had a appointment with the transplant dept. so When I went there, I followed up in person with the pharmacy. They could not find my order. The man took my information and guaranteed that my prescriptions would be delivered by Saturday. I told him my meds would run out on Sunday so if there was any issues I could get them somewhere closer to my house which is about 45 min or longer in traffic from the The pharmacy located by USC Keck hospital/transplant office. He said no problem. Saturday no meds, no hot line to call. I had to call the transplant office to call in the meds to local pharmacy and then pay full price as Plaza pharmacy had already processed through my insurance. when I called on mondAy to ask what the problem was, I was told they processed the meds too late to send for Sat delivery. I told her I came in on Thursday and was guaranteed delivery and all she said was I don’t know what happened. If they processed to late they should have called me and I would have made arrangements to pick the meds up. This is my health your messing with. I suggest no one go through this pharmacy unless you have 2 – 3 hours to wait for your meds and staff who are not professional. Just because your located at the medical center and probably get enough referrals, it doesn’t mean you should not treat each order carefully. One star because I hit it by mistake

Update — The pharmacy closes at 6pm, and that’s when things really slow down. Prepare to wait another ½ hour as the staff mysteriously vanish one by one.

Nice staff but it takes forever to wait in line for some customers service. Not enough coverage at the front desk.

As a student, I’ve come here several times and every time they do not have their act together and they always lose orders. I’ve always given them the benefit of the doubt but every single time, the order is wrong or lost. You are better going to the main campus pharmacy, which is slightly more reliable.

The customer service in this pharmacy is non existent. They don’t honor their own promises. They make you wait for over 2 hours for your medication when they can clearly see that the patient is in pain and in a wheel chair. They first told us to wait 45 mins, when we came to pick up the medications, they told us it would be another 20 mins… we waited there and then 20 mins later it still wasn’t ready and no estimate of when it would be ready. I think being stuck at a pharmacy hospital beyond 2 hours is absolutely ridiculous and inappropriate. No one is willing to help or explain the reasons for the wait. No one has any answers, there is no manager on staff. There is a lack of communication among the pharmacy employees. They either need to get on the same page or someone needs to close down this pharmacy. Who knows if they even fill the medications correctly. I would not recommend anyone coming here. If I can give it zero stars — I would.
