I have used this drug store for years now (as I work downtown) and must say that they are friendly, efficient and have a great and well priced assortment of health stuff plus gifts and goodies.

Giving this place three stars because they advertise for compounding services and do not supply them. They said they will be doing that in the future, but honestly it’s a tad frustrating to drive to the most congested part of downtown LA to find that their Unilocal wasn’t entirely accurate.
BUT, that being said, really nice shop. The staff was friendly.

This pharmacy is great. They not only help with getting your meds but they have such cool gifts. Every time I forget a birthday or something I come by and get a cute gift. People really love the stuff too!

This is an old fashion ma and pa run pharmacy where service is the key ingredient. The sundries or gift shop part of the store hires staff that care and will to be your personal shopper and give you great deals. It’s very much like a boutique with unusual gifts; I always get compliments when I purchase gifts. Very service oriented. The pharmacy is professional and discreet and fills orders unbelievably quickly. I have moved away and they still take care of me in my distant spot.

This is a go to spot for a last minute greeting card run or a quick gift run. Conveniently located at the northeast corner of 5th and Figueroa, I know I always have a backup plan.
The store itself is not big but not small either. So far I did not have to make a second run to a different store after stopping at this one.

A pharmacy with a very convenient location and a great staff on board. There are not only all of your pharmacy needs, but a lot of other essentials you may need to grab like a birthday card or small gift for a birthday or anniversary.

Uptown is perfectly convenient to get my prescriptions. I love that I don’t have to wait very long, like I do at CVS. But, my favorite part is that it’s a «Mom & Pop» business. You don’t see many of them around anymore, so you can actually tell the staff take pride in what they do and that’s to really help people.

This is not a fancy drug store… but it is very convenient for downtown LA.
You can get your drug store brand cosmetics, pharmacy prescription, gifts and greeting cards here. I was surprised to see cute stuff here: porcelain cupcakes, baby gifts, note pads, and even love tokens.
MichelleT would love this store because of the cupcakes porcelain stuff.

I love these independent pharmacies. They have such cool stuff. This one has a lot of unique cards and gifts, and a decent selection of cosmetics. I found a jumbo stuffed penguin here. The service is old fashioned: friendly and thorough.
