United Leather has the best prices around. I have been working with United Leather for the past few years and have been very satisfied.
The owner Shawn was very helpful in finding the right leather for my project.

United Leather is the most impressive leather company I have worked with. They have the best and largest extensive leather collection. Customer service is phenomenal. It is my only leather go to now, and should be the main leather go to for everyone! It was a pleasure to work with such nice friendly and professional staff.

The front receptionist and staff are very friendly. There’s a weird old guy that is creepy and rude! I believe he’s the owner and acts like he’s entitled and is the worst and customer service! Staying away from making business with individuals of that kind. I’ll make sure to get my leather elsewhere! Stay away!

I will never be back! I couldn’t shake the terrible feeling the owner of this establishment gave me for an entire day after I left! Upon entering I was warmly greeted by reception and then once again by the employees inside. All signs pointed to me having a great experience in this store. until the owner approached me. I should first say that I have been working with leather at home for the last year and this was my first time in an actual Leather store. I was so excited to finally be able to see all the color and animal options in person and not just in some catalogue. The smell alone was worth the 3 hour drive! This excitement ended when the owner decided it was his place to give me unsolicited business advice, belittle me, snap at me, raise his voice to me, and suggest I go to the «scrap bin» for my business needs. I have never been treated so poorly in a place of business before! The leather is subpar and the service from the owner is AWFUL! I have been working in customer service my whole working life and I would never treat any potential customer (or person) the way this person treated me! I was ready to leave the area and go back home when I found another leather supplier in the area. Their leather was more reasonable in price and better quality than United Leather. Even more important, the customer service from the owner and everyone else in the establishment was AMAZING! All my questions were answered patiently and kindly. I left with thousands of dollars worth of leather and I can’t wait to go back for more!

WHAT TERRIBLE SERVICE. There is an air of entitlement that I’ve never seen anywhere else. My company was looking for a few sample 1’x1’ pieces to determine who will supply our leather. Well it won’t be United Leather. That’s for sure.

Awesome store. I can not recommend enough. The best leather selection I have ever seen. They have vegetable dyed natural leathers which are difficult to find.

United Leather is located in an industrial part of downtown, Los Angeles. I went here and was immediately greeted by a friendly staff member. She introduced me to David who wasn’t the most congenial, but helpful nevertheless.
United Leather had all types of leather to make whatever your heart desires. I didn’t know that leather comes in so many flavors.

Amazing. This was my first experience shopping for leather. The staff was very helpful and answered all my questions. They have a huge aray of colors and different types of hides: lamb, goat, deer, elk, cow, etc. Will be back again real soon!

This place is awesome! Huge selection of leather and other skins. The staff are helpful and knowledgeable. I came here as a student buying leather for my senior fashion show and was very successful in finding the right type of lamb skin. I will definitely be returning.

UL can satisfy all of your leather needs at a great price! They have the most unique variety of skins!

I’ve been all over town searching for quality leather with a good price and selection. I found it. Don’t let the beautiful store front fool you, the prices are very reasonable and considering the care they take with the skins and like I said quality, I was very happy. Five or six walls of leather floor to ceiling of nearly every shade, texture and animal print you can imagine. The staff was exceptionally knowledgeable and patient with describing all the different types of leather and uses. My single regret is that I live and work on the Westside and they’re only open during the week, which means I have to take a long lunch and drive like a lunatic to get there and back. But I’ll keep endangering my life and those of others until they get some Saturday hours! Now you know! FYI, make sure you’re confident with your choices as I learned there are no returns or refunds for single hides. Also, apparently some Saturdays the owner comes in for a couple hours. Call Friday end of day to confirm he’ll be there.

Amazing resource for leather, lambskin, fur, etc. They have every color you could imagine. Their main staff is very helpful although your really have to check for flaws cause there are a lot of skins that have holes or discoloration.

if i could give this place more stars i would. floor to ceiling selection of leathers in all colors, textures, etc. the staff was friendly and helpful when helping me choose my lambskins for a jacket i’m making. i’ll definately be back.
