Panda express-​like except not as bright or clean. The menu was in Spanish! I got the 2 item combo with chow mein for $ 5.26.
Chow mein: edible and it was RED! WTF??? But whatever. It was orangey-​red and I felt nuclear while eating it but it didn’t taste horrible or anything.
Potato chicken: Potatoes were sliced like fries and then stir fried with chicken. Interesting.
Kung Pao chicken: Pretty standard for what it is. A lot of juice, which is not that great when there’s no rice.
The portions are generous and the guy behind the counter seemed nice. He was probably shocked there was another Asian person in the neighborhood. And that they ate at his Chinese restaurant. No fortune cookie. Unfortunately. :’(
