Ulrich Standish

I first hired Ulrich to rip the hideous sink out of my condo bathroom and replace it with a rad antique dresser as a sink. He went above and beyond, creating nice little drawers so I could still use the drawers even though the dresser now had plumbing running through it to the bowl sink. He also laid the Bizzaza tile on top, and made the whole job gorgeous.
I was so impressed I hired him to help my brother rip out my kitchen and rebuild it with an IKEA kitchen. He did a lot more work on my condo after that, and I was able to sell it at the highest price anyone’s ever gotten in that building in Silverlake (even now that real estate’s picked up!).
I’ve since hired him for a variety of handyman & construction jobs, and he’s always on time, easy to work with, and reasonably priced. He has a great understanding of design and construction, truly a craftsman in the proper sense.
