Beware! They charged me $ 250 for 30 minutes AFTER insurance. I was not informed of the cost until receiving 6 months worth of bills not covered by insurance. It is clear to me they are charging me more than other patients because of my DGA insurance. Judy Pang was ok, certainly not worth $ 250 for 30 minutes. By the way, my back is not better. I only went here because my previous PT left UCLA. At his clinic I was charged $ 30 per visit after insurance. Why this clinic charges so much more, I cannot understand. Don’t go here, they will gouge you.

I have been in physical therapy here for two months after breaking my left shoulder in a fall. The therapists and support staff have been extraordinarily kind and helpful in recovering my range of motion. The PT department is hard to find if you try to enter from the front(west) entrance. It’s better to enter from the ground floor at the south entrance, where there are signs directing you to Suite A-744 where rehab services is located.

Renee is awesome! She really knows her stuff and she is super knowledgable about a whole litany of other things so she is a lot of fun just to talk to. If you need a hand treatment she comes highly recommended!

In the couple months that I came here, I had an overall negative experience. 1. Parking costs are AGREGIOUS and there are no other options. People coming here are suffering from physical disabilities, so what does UCLA do? Charge them as much as possible. I can just hear them thinking, «Well, it’s not like they can WALK here, muahaha.» –_– 2. The staff is about as friendly as a set of mildewy mops. 3. My therapist was routinely late and behind on appointments. 4. The assessment questions were very unhelpful. There was no specific incident that led to my injury, and because of this my therapist was searching for positive data where there was none. It was frustrating, and I wished a more holistic, all-encompassing, proactive approach was taken. Instead, my visits consisted of 15 minutes of questions such as «on a scale from 1 – 10 how much does THIS motion hurt,» coupled with 5 – 10 minutes of adjusting/mobilization exercises and then 15 minutes of icing. They told me to avoid ALL sitting for 5 weeks… no exercises recommended. I eventually transfered to another place. Best decision ever!

I was referred here for physical therapy by my primary care doctor after an automobile accident in April 2012. Marco was my therapist for neck and back issues and he was wonderful. I was given: exercises to do at home, recommendations of equipment I could use to stretch some of the muscles and back-to-back appointments to accommodate both problem areas(e.g. 30 minutes for back, 30 minutes for neck). Even nearly a half a year after the accident and since I’ve completed my treatment, I still routinely do the exercises and can see that they are beneficial. Tip: be prompt with your appointment! You’ll want to get the most out of your time with the therapist.
