Graduated in June 2009 and decided to be a part of the Alumni Association for whatever reason. Paid the $ 300 dollars and so far I’m not sure what I paid for but I’m okay with it.
What I think I paid for: is the ability to apply for health insurance… even though I found out that the health care provider basically ripped me off. $ 250 a month for a 22 year old in good health? I THINK NOT! I think the company is like HPA or something… I don’t know.
Access to the library – which I’m still using! WooHoo!
Uh…invitation to parent’s weekend (to volunteer). Got a free catered meal, name badge and a cool button that says «Proud Alumni» with Joe Bruin on it!
The classic coffee travel mug – worth every penny.
I should probably find out what else I paid for… Hm, also I got this cool member ID card!
