Delivery often takes twice as long as stated. Everything is just ok but dipping sauces sauces are terrible. NYC locations are much better, but it’s conveniently located and open late.

Nice pizza slices, slightly confusing two window operation going on but apart from that tasty, quick and filled a hole. Kinda what pizza is for really!

Came here starving after hanging out at the Ace Hotel. This place is literally a hole in the wall — you look at the pizzas in the window and order at the window. While I was looking at the different flavors and ordering, there was some random guy harassing my friend and I. The Two Boots staff did nothing about it, so that was a little disappointing. Anyways, back to the pizza. I tried the Larry Tate and Newman. Considering I didn’t have dinner and was starving at 11:30pm, the pizza was very underwhelming. The crust was meh and the toppings were very salty. Hope I can find some good pizza in LA somewhere.

At here last night after a night of bar hopping. Glad I stopped by since their pizza and crust was amazing! I usually walk by this place and glance for the comedy factor since it’s a must see exterior, see photos. I had a slice of the shrimp pizza & a pepperoni, loved it and plan to return. I only knocked one star since its outdoor standing only to eat, otherwise a great go to spot for pizza

The pizza here is good, great actually sadly their service is so bad you never get what you order … On more than one occasion I’ve received the wrong order. I would blame their pos system but I actually walked up to the counter ordered saw the girl take my slices and send them to the oven to the warm up and STILL got the wrong order … Her excuse«I can’t control who takes what» … Really,? So if someone takes the order I just placed with you two minutes ago it’s the customers fault? … This place has so much potential but their service is just awful, I love their pizza so much I tried to get my work to place an order with them … We ordered 15 pizzas for or weekly pizza party and AGAIN we got the wrong order … Needless to say my work said no more … :(please two boots get your ish together … Go to Papis pizza one block over, it’s good and they won’t mess up the order :(

Not sure what happened, but my opinion of this place has gone downhill. The people that work at this location have always been very friendly but the results my orders lately have been lackluster… It started with my girlfriend complaining about a lack of sauce and cheese on the pizza. I noted her concern that maybe«it just isn’t worth it» after I requested extra artichoke hearts a few times. I even double ordered artichoke hearts when they had the«Lagniappe» deal where you ordered 3 toppings and got a 4th for free. The pizzas still arrived with a disappointing amount of not only artichoke hearts, but all the toppings(including cheese and sauce). Then they ended«the Lagniappe» deal altogether. Last week I tried to give them another chance and it proved to be a mistake. I ordered the«Grandma Bess» style pizza with artichoke hearts. About an hour later the pie arrived. The top of the box was smashed into the cold, soggy pie. And on top there were no artichokes whatsoever, but there were anchovies instead… Unfortunately it was already 10PM and the kitchen was closed. I was also starving. I don’t mind anchovies in many dishes, but it really did not work on this style pizza at all(never mind it wasn’t what I ordered!). I had to pick them off, but the oily, salty, fishy flavor permeated the pizza in an unfortunate manner. I had requested them to «please be generous» with the artichoke hearts in the special request box. I understand that delivering people food is difficult as I have worked in the service industry for most of my life. I can’t help but wonder if they were annoyed with me(?) or trying to mess with me. I have been a loyal customer since I moved down here & previously wrote a glowing review. After a delivery fee and generous tip this pizza comes out to be over $ 35.00 delivered. That seems like a pretty expensive pie to me by anyone’s standards. Unfortunately for me I have to agree with my girlfriend: «It’s just not worth it.»:(

This is a solid option for lunch or a late night treat. It is New York style pizza. It is thin, large and greasy. The flavors are good, but nothing special. Late at night though, it is quite satisfying. I was not very adventurous. I tried a couple slices of sausage. It was ok, but I would have liked more flavor from the sausage. The sauce and crust are ok as well. The prices are fair. It is open late, which is convenient.

The vegan slices are always excellent. The hate on here seems to be for slow delivery which I have never tried. On the other hand, the slow delivery must mean they are popular.

Lazy Sunday in bed watching football and all we wanted was pizza. Paid $ 53(before tip) for two 3-topping pizzas & a small house salad only for it to be promised in 40 min, arrive in an hour and 20 min, and worst of all be stone cold. I wish I had read through the reviews before ordering. I called an hour after placing he order and apparently the driver was running behind. It looks like delivery timing is a definite issue here. I work in the restaurant business and understand better than most that occasionally things happen, however this seems to be a recurring issue for this place. I love the location in Echo Park and was so excited to be able to order from a location that could deliver in Downtown. I don’t feel as though the quality of my particular order was not up to par relative to what I’ve experienced at the Silver Lake location, minus the temperature of course. A phone call that the order was running over 30 minutes late would have gone a long way(along with more accurate cook time). I might not have been nearly as upset if it were at least delivered hot. I’m unfortunately never ordering from here again.

I ordered for delivery and it says that it’s gonna arrive around 8:30(which is probably 50 min after I placed my order). Now it’s already 9:00 and My order still hasn’t arrive. I called the store asking where is my order, they said they are still working on it and will be out of the oven in 15min. I asked what causes the delay and the guy was like«uhhh high order demand.» And did not even apologize. Seriously? How long does it take to make pizza? 2hrs? This is ridiculous! I just wish I will receive it hot when it arrives in probably another hour.

Let’s live tweet style this $#%*. Are you kidding me right now. Ordered 1 medium pizza at 8.06pm, it is now 10.14pm and my pizza is still not here… I’ll keep you all posted. Supposedly the driver is on his way… whatever. I will repost when the pizza actually arrives. Gonna turn the oven on right now cuz I’m sure it will arrive cold. If after over 2 hours my pizza is still hot… that will be one hell of a miracle. 10.30pm called LA Café to order some other form of sustenance to keep me from eating my own arm off. 20 min later… still no pizza. But then alas! A knock! Could it be? It couldn’t. I open the door… LA Café has arrived with my food(I am saved!). Decided to call Two Boots to see literally what is the deal. I am told the pizza«still on its way»… 3 hours later, I think it is still on its way. Don’t worry, I turned my oven off.

Great pizza, just be sure to double check your pizza if you order on line. One of my toppings I added on was missing, but I didn’t notice until I got to work. Other than that it’s really good.

So it took a while to get my pizza and when it arrived it was so cold and soggy it wasnt edible. I called the restaurant and Thru offered me 30% off my next order. I’m pretty sure I don’t want to pay 25.00 for another nasty pizza minus any percentage. Problem is every time I order from this place they make a mistake and every time they have an excuse. I’ll just order purgatory from now on . Two stars is to make sure my post gets posted and not flagged. Get it together and deliver an edible product on time

After seeing a concert next door at Orpheum we all figured grabbing a slice of pizza wouldnt be such a bad idea due to the fact the options of places open late arent always that grand(besides the fact im with 1vegan and 1 must be gluten-free addict) therefore this seems like the best spot at the time. 1 slice v for vegan 1 gluten free grandmas 1 calzone 1 chicken cesar salad Everything was about $ 10 each item. The pizza slices were somewhat stale. Calzone is freshly made but takes about 10−15mins(which is understandable) and came with a marinara sauce that was described as tasting like watery tomato soup but the calzone was«ok». The salad came with a liquidy blue cheese sauce and a harder than life cesar dressing that i was not able to get out of the container until i broke it. Overall we all did not enjoy our food and wish we would have just waited a few more moments and ate somewhere else.

Today I swung by Two Boots Pizza for a slice at lunch time. Typical Gen X attitude at the counter. Shitty undercooked pizza! Avoid ATALLCOST! The manager is clueless.

Just left this place. First of all, I have been a fan since Two Boots first opened in New York. My how things have changed. The pizza here is so greasy and bad I can’t wait for it to turn into a turd and leave me. Secondly, they have this sign out front encouraging people to park for free if they order a bunch of their crappy food. Which we did. Only to get hit up for the $ 5 parking fee. I pointed out the sign to the kid behind the counter and he said they only let people park in their«Reserved Delivery» spots(there are two). Nothing could make me want to go back to this place and I think that the Two Boots Pizza joint is for anyone who doesn’t know better.

This might be a great late night snack, but don’t expect much from it. $ 4 for most pizza slices. Although they heat up the pizza, it’s only lightly warmed, so it’s still basically cold. The pizza(we got a pesto, white pizza one and another red sauce one) is on the bland side, but their crushed pepper is for some reason super spicy and helped add more oomph. Make sure to take your time and thoroughly look over the menu. We only looked at the pizzas on the window sill and there weren’t many options so we chose whatever was laying out. However, they have an extensive menu and I regret not choosing what we wanted, even if it would’ve taken a while. This little pizza joint is a fun experience after a night around downtown, but it’s definitely only a «try once and never again» experience.

It’s a takeout window and there’s always a little line and regular solicitors. Be nice and buy em a slice o pizza if you can. The small elbow table they have is right by the parking lot so if you eat on the other side, be careful for cars turning in. Great pizza though. Crispy crust and a balanced of good flavors.

Let me start by saying that i had know idea this was a nation-wide restaurant. I had Two Boots Pizza for the first time earlier this year in Nashville. Nashville! The pizza itself tasted pretty ok, and I liked that they sold beer to pair with it. Maybe a little underwhelming overall? So last night, it’s about 1:30 am and all of a sudden I’m crazy hungry. We’d just left a bar and this is normally not a good scenario for a vegan at this hour. But like a dimly lit oasis, Two Boots Pizza appeared just down the street. They had food i could eat and they were open. I was saved. I don’t know how everyone else chooses to divvy up the stars in their reviews, but personally, if a place with 3 star quality food is open at an obscure hour when I’m craving food stat, then I’ll spring for the extra star.
