Service is always fast and the staff is super nice. Restrooms aren’t the best, but most fast food places don’t have nice restrooms. Prices are reasonable and the food tastes great!

I’ve been coming here since the summer it opened in 1982… growing up in highland park, it was a qwik burger on the way home after school… Even though I live in the san fernando valley now, whenever I come into Eagle Rock or Pasadena, I always try in stop in for my «usual».hamburger combo well done, no pickles or tomatoes, and large root beer(I’m not a pepsi person, and I wish they had Coke)…that will keep me full for the next 8 hours. my meal hasn’t changed in over 30 years…

been coming here for almost 3 years now, love this spot! solid spot for big portions of fries!!! they have a really good thousand island sauce that they give you a side of with each order! yum! — breakfast: always get the pancake special, it’s so good! 2 pancakes, 3 eggs, 2 bacon and 2 sausage links for like 6 $! it feeds our whole family of 3! the pancakes are really good, buttery and crispy! — fries, always fresh and you get a ton! — burgers are big and juicy! real charbroil taste! — chicken strips combo is good and plentiful! only complaint, the asada fries are not the best, no sauce or anything! idk if I’m ordering them wrong but twice they came like that so I don’t get them anymore. breakfast is the best tho! I love them for a quick breakfast and some orange bang!

I used to come here with my buddies a couple times a week when I went to Oxy. Everyone always got the same thing: chili cheese fries. Went back a week or so ago and nothing’s changed. Only now they let you add pastrami. Made a good thing even better.

Carne Asade Fries are legit, would be even better if it was the Nacho Cheese instead of the shredded cheese. Went thru the drive-in, asked the guy for some chili peppers and ranch. Got home, only had 4 packets of ketchup in the bag lol.

Burgers are okay. Enough to get you full. But the carne asada burrito sucked! it was super bland and tortilla broke and all the food inside was falling out !

Super fast and convenient place near Occidental College because there is a drive thru and a parking lot. The burger is greasy and saucy. The fries are hot. Love the location, the food was just okay.

The food is okay here, it gets better the later you go. Their hard work is much appreciated. Sometimes the service is great, and sometimes it is lack luster. There are plenty of booths for seating, or you can just drive on through. Good portion sizes. You feel that none of this food is good for you, but it can be quite tasty! It’s a little inconsistent, but nice to have in the neighborhood.

Another great spot in the area to grab a tasty breakfast burrito! Their standard breakfast burrito comes with hash browns, egg, pick de gallo, and cheese. I added bacon, and liked how it was very chopped up, not too fatty. They are heavy on the potatoes and light on the egg at this location at least, but for $ 5.50 I’m not complaining! Great little drive through in highland park to get your burrito on.

I usually order my boys the chicken dinner if I’m lazy to cook dinner or didn’t have time. They love it. I’m always ordering fries to go and oh can’t forget the thousand island sauce! Add season salt to my fries and yummy I can have that for breakfast, lunch and dinner haha. Eating the fries with their Cole slaw is good too! Yummy. If I’m craving for chili cheese fries but don’t want Tommy’s, I’ll order from here with extra cheese. So good!

This is the kind of place I loved in grad school: all the daily recommended calories in one meal. If I could just wait out breakfast by drinking tons of sugar in my coffee, I could make it to lunch. Lunch provided all the calories necessary(and then some). Then, in the evening, I could just drink a few cocktails on an empty stomach, which was awesome… because that just made the buzz come hard and strong.

Solid place for food. Have seen this place for years but I have always chosen burger spots closer to home. First time I had the chili cheese fries and they tasted grest, different chili then I was use to but still tasted great. Today I had the chance to try their pastrami burger special and it was good. Fries were done just right, plenty of pastrami meat on a cheeseburger. Soda was soda, sweet but I’m not a big soda drinker anymore. Drive thru is a plus as well. And they take credit cards, not many places do that.

Food is always given in generous portions. It’s also very inexpensive to eat here. If you are on a budget but want friendly service and a full tummy come to Troys. Chili cheese fries are bomb n are big enough for two people!!!

Love the chilly cheese fries with pastrami! This place is awesome. Will be back each time we go to LA. You can place an order trough calling the store. We were in the area and they were about to close at 1am so we place an order and pick it up right on time.

The food is mouth watering. Onions rings are nice and crisp and the portions are huge. Considering it is a fast food joint they make darn good burgers. On the weekends my boyfriend and I drive from Burbank to Highland Park with one intention. To go to Troys!!!

I had their rib eye steak sandwich today. Definitely far superior to anything they make at Subway. Your basic steak sandwich: mayo on French roll, lettuce, tomato and the steak. Tasty steak. But not as filling as their double cheese burger. Greater bread to meat ratio on the steak sandwich versus the hamburger.

Great place to get food on the weekday. Just made it in time to make a big order. I usually order the burger but I’m not a fan of it. The husband is more than me. Since he is the one that grew up with burger joints. Our usual order is burger combo and onion rings. As always drive thru is fast and friendly. Food is great. I’ve had the chicken, corn dog and patty melt all good. Parking on the street or in there private lot. They take credit or debit cards.

It’s been a long time since I’ve come back to this place. It used to be my daily grub spot when I was in junior high. Yup a long time ago. My sister and I would take the bus here after school and catch up on some quality time together while our dad would take care of our ill mom… the sad memories . The same owner has owned this place for over 30 years. His name is Nico. Also known as «el bigoton», the dude with the thick ass mustache. He still looks the same accept for the white mustache now. . It still looks the same as far as the layout but it has a remodeled modern look. The food here is delicious. The burgers are great, so is the pastrami. My all time favorite it the all beef burrito. The prices are not outrageous and the staff is friendly and quick. The drive thru is very efficient but I think it’s better if you eat there. This isn’t a typical burger joint. They have everything from breakfast, lunch and tasty dinner selections. There is plenty of parking in the back and also have an ATM machine inside. Can’t forget to mention they have a good size TV in there to catch a game.

The bacon breakfast burrito left a lot to be desired. In fact, I’d say that its only redeeming quality was that it was edible. They serve breakfast until 12. The cons: the hash browns may as well have been mashed potato they were so soft and mushy, the bacon had a look and texture like it had been sitting out, and it didn’t come with cheese or salsa. It was about 70% potato and the rest was paper thin egg, old bacon, and pico de gallo. The pros: edible?

There were several issues I had with this location. When you can see the employees do what they do as far as preparing your food, you should always watch. First the employee blew his nose and didn’t go and wash his hands, then he proceeded to go back to the grill area. Another employee was cutting raw chicken next too cleaning supplies. Come-on now. I saw enough. These are all health Violations. The employees hygiene I would also question. I also want to add, is they change you for a refill on your drink.50. cents. Come-on now. It costs you about 11 cents for your beverage.Unreal.
