This place has so many things u can’t decide, I love this place because they do a lot of homemade stuff and if u ask me what fast food place does that. The owner is excellent he really knows what his doing, really on top of everything. There salads and wraps and sandwiches are all great. Definitely a place to try.

I go to this Trimana daily in the morning to get my protein shake. I love their Berry Frugen shake. By default, they blend it with one whole banana and the quantity is usually a lot more for less price when compared to Jamba juice or nectar’s. I love this place and recommend others to try it out.

I had a meeting in the UCLA Wilshire West building and discovered this small cafeteria style eatery. I ordered a spinach omelette with fruit and it was good. I was happy to find this place since I am always short on time. The service was a bit slow, but the convenience, and selection of breakfast items will bring me back.

I happened to be in the building for a training and decided to get a snack during a breakout. It would’ve been nice if the cashier looked up from his phone during the transaction. Just saying…

Robert and staff have always been what I like about a place to eat during work hours. Robert is always happy to see you. The food is tasty, and high quality at an affordable price — especially for the fresh high quality that you receive there. I no longer work for UCLA, but I was recently in the area and dropped in for my favorite salad, the Southwest Chicken salad. After four years, Robert remembered exactly how I liked it! My salad was fresh and delicious as I remembered! Thank you Robert and Sons!

The only thing worth having is a yogurt and a fruit cup. All of the food is greasy and expensive.

I am a high-rise cube dweller, and Trimana is on the first floor of my building. Milo at the deli counter is simply the worst. Guy makes food orders incorrectly — and then gets mad at you when you ask for them to be done right. And holds grudges for years, apparently. Milo, guess what, I speak Spanish. And if you forget three ingredients in my salad you can bet your ass I’m going to ask you to fix it. Get over yourself. I’m done with this place after years of supporting them. Terrible customer service, questionable food quality… Trimana may be convenient, but it is not enjoyable.

I think the best way to describe Trimana is «meh» — it is nothing special but because I work in the building it is always a last resort. Most of the coffee options are good. I usually get the medium at $ 2/cup. They usually run out of the popular flavors by 10 am-ish so go early if you want something in particular. If you go in the afternoon a lot of times they won’t even have coffee anymore or it is dark roast only. Their food is fine, expensive for what it is in my opinion. The bagels with cream cheese are good, the breakfast sandwiches are huge. The salads are just average and expensive for what they are. The chili and/or baked potato are both good cheap lunch options. Bring cash or load up your Bruin Card if you are a student/staff because they have a $ 6 minimum.

Do not go to this place. I am only giving it a 2 star due to my hunger level and that the food filled me up but just a little. This place charges an arm and a leg for very ordinary stuff to their foods and sandwiches. All their bars and candies are way too over priced and their prices on their foods changes all the time and the workers here charge you different prices too. On certain sandwiches they even charge you extra for things like tomatoes. I frequent the building for banking needs for many years and have to say its a big disappointment to see this kind of a service. I have tried their burgers, salads, and sandwiches out of convenience but NOMORE. I have had enough after I was charged 7.50 today for a bfast sandwich listed at 5.50. Do yourself a favor and try other places as many others are available in the area.

[UPDATE1: Review #72] I brought a sandwich for lunch that didn’t fill me up. I was feeling the munchies about 30 minutes later & decided to grab some chili cheese fries at Trimana. Since lunch rush was over, there was no one in line. I noticed there were some fries sitting under the heat lamp(just enough for 1 serving) & wondered if I’ll get fresh fries; I was thinking about asking for a new batch(& I should have), instead I asked to add onions & jalapeños to the chili cheese fries. The fries were cold(yeah, even under the heat lamp & the addition of warm chili… they tasted c-o-l-d & flat. I was tempted to return it & ask for a fresh batch, but was in the middle of a project. I think I’ll stick with my morning visits for their breakfast burrito. Like I said before… Trimana is a convenient, full service cafeteria… the food is nothing to write home about, & in this case, I gotta food quality gripe for my fellow Unilocalers to be mindful of when they eat here.

I work next door so I frequent this place often, therefore I feel comfortable enough to say Trimana is below average and a last resort. My boss eats here everyday and I don’t understand why. The food is bleh and the service is completely whack. There’s only like 2 workers here I actually like. The other ones and especially the chick at the register needs customer service skills ASAP. BTW: You’ll never go there and get charged the same thing twice. It’ll always be more. Their workers who work the cashier are incompetent and charge you whatever they feel like from day to day. It’s disgusting to watch people get literally robbed everyday. Someone should look into this. There’s no way you should be able to change your prices every 24 hours.

I like this place and be going on and off for the past ten years. They make good BBQ salad and cheeseburgers. Lately they have some good new daily specials on both the salad and steak sections. One has to go early during noon to avoid the long lines, salads section tends to be the busiest line at times. One downside is that one order must be over 5 dollars in order to use a debit/credit card. The people who worked there are very friendly and gets one order quickly. The food is very good.

French fries are pretty good and the food is ok. But the reason I’m giving it a one star is because I didn’t really like their service. A guy wearing a tan colored polo shirt at the counter was on the phone when I was waiting to pay and he said: «Hold on, I have this Chinese woman» and proceeded to help me. FYI Mr. I’m not Chinese. Anyway, he could have said: «hold on, I have a customer waiting»???

It’s like a tiny café/convenience. Food isn’t that great, but it’ll fuel you for a while. There is a lot of seating, but it doesn’t seem like people really sit around here, due to a semi-gloomy ambiance. Worst of all, I gave the lady at the register a 20, she gave me my bill change back… but didn’t give me the coins. I know you have coins in that register, maam… don’t just undercut me. That’s called stealing!

fresh food, quick service, great prices! Where else in Westwood you can get a great breakfast omelet(customized might i add) for just around $ 6?!? or a lunch cambo for $ 8? They also have great selection of coffee flavors and everything else in between! Haven’t gone back to starbucks ever since a co worker recommended this place!

Best place to eat during the week in Westwood. Robert, the manager keeps the food fresh and tasty. The daily specials keep me coming back and the normal menu has everything you can ask for. If you need a great place for breakfast during the week, this is your spot. They open early and will prepare you just about anything if they have it. I can go on forever! Love this place.

Love their fries and jalepeno ketchup! This is no foodies haven, but it gets the job done when you are in a hurry. The portions are pretty big. I can usually split up the lunch to 3 meals if I get an entrée or 2 meals if I do the $ 5 lunch. Consider Trimana like a cafeteria, don’t come in here with high high caviar hopes and you won’t be disappointed. The prices are on par to the other eateries in the area, albeit, the food isn’t Cordon Bleu best, you are paying for convenience. DUH. The gal behind the register has always been super nice and the employees have always been friendly. I feel like people who get the bad service, are partly to blame because they, 99% of the time, already have a bad attitude. I appreciate their $ 5 lunch options that include a really good asian chicken salad. Tip: tell them to go light on the dressing or you may end up with a salad soup. The abundance of dressing can work in your advantage if you BYO salad and add to their portion. I also like the Chicken and Veggies over rice, they definitely do not skimp on the chicken or the veggies. Another Tip: steer clear of their hot sauce. Danger danger!

This place is conveniently located in the same building where I work so I’ve come here several times when I was too lazy to go elsewhere. I’ve tried their salads and melts, but they are all sub-par. The food normally tastes pretty bland. The only thing I would recommend getting from here are their fries. I have no idea what they put in them, but they are simply amazing. Everything else on the menu can be pasted up.

Trimana, in my mind, is a true guilty pleasure. My poisons: their fries. Mmm, mmm, MMM. Whatever they do to those fries — they are amazing. And bear in mind, I don’t like potatoes and I definitely am not a French Fry eater. My other love? Grilled cheese. They will make me a grilled cheese for brekkie. Yep. At 8am, I’m in there ordering a grilled cheese, and they’re there grilling it for me.($ 2.35 — cheap, er… not TOTALLY unhealthy brekkie). I will venture over and try some of the more ‘normal’ foods — like the salads. I’m hungry for one after reading other reviews this morning! Plus side: They deliver locally. No delivery fee, from what I’ve noticed, but do tip generously!
