Customer service was awful again. Won’t be coming back to this place anymore. Hostess can not even acknowledge we were waiting to sit down when he finally does we are already leaving. He did not take the time to say sorry as we were walking out, He just turned around like if it was our loss.

My coworkers and I used to love coming here… Me for the house made pumpkin ravioli with walnut sauce… It’s been a few months since we visited since I now work in north hollywood. Made a special lunch date with an old coworker drove all the to have my pumpkin ravioli, plate arrived and guess… Prepackaged ravioli … Yes I guess it’s cheaper to buy them and but funny thing is plate on menu wasn’t cheaper not was it the same as before., NOPE I paid 14.95 for prepackaged gross over spiced ravioli… I must say that this visit is going to be my last time there… Too pricey for prepackaged ravioli …

This place was recommensed to my boyfriend and i by his sister so we came here on a weeknight and it was pretty empty which was nice for us. We were served right away and our waiter was really nice. He recommended a drink for me to try and it was really good. Our food was really good there are definitely no complaints there. It’s a big amount of food so I took the rest to go and it was still good the next day. My boyfriend got the pizza and it was just as good. We would definitely come back.

I’ve had a couple lunch meals at this location prior to this review. During lunch hours, this place is occupied mostly by the business crowd given its location in an industrial part of LA, and the restaurant does a good job accommodating this group. Orders are taken quickly and the food comes out just as fast. I recommend this place if you are looking for a quick sit down place for lunch during the work week

It kind of feels like a big hollow space full of tables and chairs. I get the feeling that this restaurant is in the middle of nowhere because it’s structured in an industrial area. They do have ample parking but when I came here for lunch, this place was packed to where parking was limited. I suppose you can’t blame a place that provides enough parking spaces for doing so well. They must have some type of crack in the bread because it tasted amazing or it could have been the fact that I was hungry. I forgot the name of the plate that I ordered but it had chicken dressed with this lemony cream gravy type of sauce. This plate was better than I had expected. The chicken was tender and the dressing was just right. One of my biggest pet peeves are flies. These little creatures bug me most when I’m eating. I don’t know if I smelled funky but I counted 3 flies that were hovering over our table. The service was also subpar compared to the food. The server kept on forgetting and we had to ask multiple times. All in all I would try this place again. Worth a try.

Enjoyed a nice lunch here. The people are kind and treat you well. The surroundings and décor is decent and cozy. We ordered the salmon pasta dish. It was creamy, light, and the salmon was flaky and prepared nicely.

What a find!!! I LOVE Trattoria 25! We came here one Friday afternoon for our end of week luncheon(more like early dinner), the place is quite nice, it’s casual chic and has a very open feel. I could tell that this is a hub for many professionals and corporate gatherings but make no mistake, this place seems like very family friendly as well. We first started with their Antipasti, two beautiful servings of deep fried Calamari and shrimp with subtle dipping sauce on the side — fantastic! Order a glass of Pinot Grigio to go with this antipasti — really good! For my main dish, I ordered the Bigolleti alla rucola e frutti di mare(what a mouthful right?)! Made with homemade spaghetti with lobster, shrimp, clams, and crab in a mild but flavorful sauce — it reminds me a lot Ciopinno — elevated! My colleagues had the Fettuccine ai funghi porcini con capisante e gamberi(lordie — this one is more of a mouthful than the other! haha) being the curious monkey that I am, I asked my sister(my work colleague) If I could taste her dish — Wow! the sauce was so flavorful and they sure did not skimp on the scallops!.. very generous! The staff here at Trattoria are really nice and attentive, parking is not a problem, they have a huge shared lot, however, I believe at night or during dinner, parking is validated. Overall, I REALLY like this place, first impressions really last — Trattoria 25 sure left a good one on my tastebuds! Salute!

Love it or hate it’s just my opinion. The service here was pretty bad. I started off with the salad that was salty, how can one mess up salad? Next I had the pasta and to my surprise was really good. I thought, cool now we’re getting somewhere. Next I had the chicken and it was dry as a bone not even the sauce could save it. To compensate the let order the salmon. And of course I did not satisfy. I think the only positive here was letting us stay at the club they have going after 10PM on Saturday nights and the pasta that had a nice spicy kick. Like Tom Cruise said on «Born on the Fourth of July» Love it or leave it Tommy! I choose to leave it.

So I happened to be driving by the area with my daughter and we wanted something other than the«norm» so I found this place here on Unilocal,of course and I’ve got to say it’s a hidden gem. I’ve passed by it so many times, never saw it before and I’m so happy I found it. I can’t wait to take my boyfriend for lunch. Excellent service; seated right away, within minutes we had drinks on hand and the waiter was taking our order. The place itself is beautiful, very open and the bar area very trendy. I ordered the black Risotto with Salmon(amazing) and my daughter ordered the spaghetti; I asked if it was as good as her mom’s and she said very close(I love the lies)! Anyway, I will definitely be going back soon, and maybe next time I will get to sit at the bar.

I love this place! I have been here twice for a business meeting and both times have been great experiences. Food: bomb! Today I ordered their Chicken Piccata and it comes with 3 thin golden-brown grilled to perfection chicken with a side of vegetables and golden-brown potatoes. The potatoes were crispy, yet light and amazing! The chicken with capers are just the perfect! I recommend this dish! Service: excellent. Very tentative and the servers are super friendly! Ambience: relaxed. Great for business lunch or a nice dinner date. I would definitely come back here again!

Another visit recently after volunteering at the LA Food Bank again. This time, there were 12 people in the group and I forgot to call ahead of time, but the same waiter remembered me from before so he was really accommodating. We pretty much had the restaurant to ourselves with great service and food. This time around I ordered the pumpkin ravioli, which I liked more than their pizzas. The pumpkin flavor was really marinated into the dish. The ravioli was really filling that I ended up only eating half. The guy was really understanding when it came time to pay. To make things easier, he just gave everyone his/her own bill. That was really nice of him because that was a lot of work on his end to handle each of us one at a time. I’ll definitely be back again when I’m volunteering at the LA Food bank, which will probably be in the near future!

Where am I?! Honestly, I didn’t think there could be anything cool in Vernon, but Trattoria No 25 was a pleasant surprise. The restaurant is located in a weird plaza with an unassuming exterior. The lot is big so parking is not a problem. Upon entering, the digs were pretty nice! The restaurant is a decent size, but I didn’t get a good look because… THATPATIO. We requested seats outdoors and on came the complimentary bread! You had me at CARBS. The bread was warm, soft, and crunchy at all the right places. The butter was at room temperature so it was sooooo easy to spread. It took soo much will power not to fill up on bread before the main course, which always seems to be my problem when I dine Italian. I ordered the Fettuccine Al Funghi Porcini con Capesanta e Gamber, which is just a lot of fancy words for mushroom fettuccine with seafood. The pasta was heavily tossed in a mushroom sauce and had a very generous amount of mushrooms, scallops, and shrimp. It was soooo effin’ bomb, but extremely dense and heavy. The scallops were really fresh, and the shrimp had a nice snap to them. And did i mention they were very generous?! This entire meal put me into a food comatose after, but so worth the calories. GOODSERVICETOTOPEVERYTHINGOFF!

Ate here with my coworkers since it’s a short drive from the office. The restaurant is nicely lit with big windows, white walls, high ceiling, and an outdoor patio. Their complimentary bread and butter is SOGOOD. The butter is at a nice room temperature and the bread is soft and warm. Slathering it in butter and dipping it in olive oil and vinegar is crucial! I ordered Linguine Alle Vongole All’olio di Frantoio($ 15.50) which is their clam linguine pasta in a garlic white wine sauce. They are very generous with the clams and the linguine was cooked perfectly al dente. The sauce had a good balance of white wine and garlic flavor — I liked that the garlic wasn’t too overpowering but still present within the dish. I tried a bite of my coworker’s Fettuccine Al Funghi Porcini con Capesanta e Gamberi($ 15.50) which is their fettuccine pasta with porcini(mushrooms) with scallops and shrimp tossed in a mushroom sauce. This one was really good, too! The mushroom sauce wasn’t too salty and was really hearty and flavorful. Again, noodles were cooked perfectly. I would definitely recommend both dishes! Solid ambience, outdoor patio, friendly/attentive service, and prices are reasonable for Italian food — especially because this place does everything really well. Oh, and they have their own lot so parking is no problem!

I came here for my lunch with the boss. It’s one of the few restaurant options in the area as you can tell that it’s all people on their lunch breaks here. I like how the windows really bring in the sunlight into the restaurant. They provided complimentary bread with butter, olive oil, and vinegar. I ordered the Fettuccine Al Salmone($ 17.95). It had great presentation mixed with colorful spinach and sundries tomatoes. They also gave a lot of salmon in the dish covered with a flavorful and creamy Alfredo sauce. I really enjoyed it, but definitely on the pricer end in my opinion. I don’t regret my choice though, tasty!

Hidden gem! My wife has eaten here a bunch of times and the leftovers were so good. Finally got a chance to actually eat here and I was not disappointed. Located in a random plaza, in a random industrial area of Vernon. Service was great. Restaurant was packed at lunch, which you would not expect looking at it from the outside. Food came out quick. I love the complementary bread they give. So good with the olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Even better with the pasta sauces. Risotto Nero di Venere con Scaloppina e Salmone — $ 15.50 — Risotto was cooked to a perfect al dente, had a nice bite. The squid ink sauce that is is cooked in was so delicious. Such a great sea ocean flavor. Salmon cooked perfectly. Great sear and soft and buttery inside. I do know where the scallops were thought. It might be mixed into the rice but I could not visibly see any. Fettuccine al Funghi Porcini con Capesante e Gameri — $ 15.50 — My wife’s favorite pasta and fettuccine dish ever. Pasta is cooked perfectly. Mushroom sauce is perfect and adds a great umami flavor. You get a ton of shrimp and scallops. Sauce is perfect to mop up with the bread they give. Excellent food and service for the cheapest price you could imagine. It is hard to find food this good for that low of a price!

Was taken here on my birthday and enjoyed the overall experience. The first thing I wondered was, wow, how could a nice place like this exist in such a industrial area. It was a nice escape and I wish I knew of it sooner. The only downside(for me at least) was it was full of old businessmen, and excuse my blunt words but it was a sausage fest of older gentlemen. Service was okay, wish the waiter was more attentive though. You start off with bread, the bread is actually amazing, I normally don’t finish bread when at Italian restaurants but, I can easily gouge down all the delicious bread here. For the main course I had the chicken special, and the person I came with had fish. There wasn’t anything very special about these, the chicken was a little dry, both dishes looked very aesthetically pleasing though. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t anything to rave about. For dessert we shared a Crème Brulee. It was enjoyable but not memorable. I would give this place 4 stars for just being a nice get-a-way from the normal Vernon environment(any other situation would be 3 stars). I would come again since its hard to find better choices in the area.

Where do I go for a fancy lunch in Vernon? Yes, Trattoria No 25 is lovely! Good portions, great service, bright open space, ample free parking and freshly baked bread! LOVE! Here’s what I enjoy here: salmone di alaska fettuccini al salmone linguine alle vongole all’olio di frantoio Insalta di radicchio con pollo pollo al marsala pollo pillard Tiramisu All wonderful choices! This place can get pretty busy so if you’re not looking for an 1 hour+ meal, head over to Little Trattoria 25 in Huntington Park. Nearly identical menu for a buck or two less.
