I have been coming to Ken for over 7 years now and he never fails to give me the best hair cut. He knows exactly what my hair needs and always does an excellent job! Best customer service i’ve ever had at a Salon, he’s always friendly and has a great demeanor. I highly recommend him for anyone looking for a stylish cut!

Preface: I didn’t give the last star bc I only came to get my hair trimmed (already washed and flatironed by myself) so I am not sure what the whole process would have been like. However, Ken took me very last minute, same day within the hour and did a great job trimming my hair.
My concerns with hairstylists are ALWAYS if they can do ethnic hair. I have African America and Caucasian mix. Which tends to have a personality of it’s own. When asking about his education in that type of field he immediately comforted me with his assured response. When I got there he was awsome talking me through the trim, bc he could tell I was a perfectionist about my hair. He was awsome! I will be going back to try to the full experience for sure with him. He exceeded my expectations and I’m very happy for that bc I left with healthy looking hair :-)

Ken’s been taking care of my hair for longer than I care to admit. He’s now even cutting my daughter’s hair. Ken trained with Vidal Sassoon and is really great at technical hair cuts like bobs, graduated bobs, asymmetrical cuts and the like. He’s happy to chat if that’s what you like but he’s also fine just cutting and letting you quietly sit. He won’t force the chat like some stylists feel compelled to do. Lupe is great as well if you can’t get a time with Ken. When I was away at college Ken actually could tell (and was horrified) when I allowed a hack at a Northern California Supercuts give me a trim. I haven’t strayed again and happily make a 45 minute trek to visit. It doesn’t hurt that the new location is right near Target so I can knock a few things off my shopping list too.

The only person I would ever trust to cut my hair would be Ken Yee. He is so meticulous and does an amazing job! My boyfriend and I have been going to him for years! I highly recommend him especially if you are planning to ring in the new year with a new hair style.
