Best tortas ahogadas in town! Friendly staff and inexpensive. You MUST try the tacos de Barbacoa too!

Don’t go here. Not good. The sandwich was soooo dry and not tasty. I was craving good mexican so I looked on Unilocal, based on 4 good reviews I went there… after 2 bites I threw the sandwich away!

I’ve been going here since I was a kid! They are truly authentic tortas, exactly how they taste in Gualadajara, Mexico. The staff is always friendly, and the tortas are always on point. it’s a small shack and it’s has an outdoor seating area(so don’t expect to be eating indoors) The parking is a little tricky, so be aware. You can always park next door in the little plaza. I don’t think I have ever gotten bad service or bad food here. Every time I come, it’s a pleasant experience. If you want real Mexican food, this is your spot.

The best in the Valley! Tortas ahogadas, Guadalajara Style. They used a really good bread BIROTESALADO style which is a salted baguette bread very tasty, filled with lean pork meat, onions, lime juice, red sweet tomato sauce and a splash of FIREREDHOT chilli pepper salsa. This is a great tradicional remedy for hangovers. They also have Tacos de Barbacoa de RES — beef stew tacos which are quite good. I highly recommend this place, I have been going to it for about 7 years yet here is my first review. I found out about this place through the Radio Personality Piolin from La Nueva Radio, he once ordered lunch from here.
