I’ll say this, the couple running this truck seem as nice as can be. He’s outside taking orders and she’s inside dishing up the grub.
Unfortunately, as much as I wanted to love this truck, the food fell a bit short.
I got a chicken shwarma, (they were out of soujouk), and it tasted OK but it was kind of dry and light on filling.
I couldn’t taste anything in it other than the chicken and the bread. OK, but certainly not 11.00 worth, (I got the combo).
The fries were OK but they were plain fries, no garlic or even salt.
Clearly the execution could be better here, Guys, maybe you should rethink the amount of sauce and flavorings you use. This chicken Shwarma tasted like shredded chicken and bread… nothing else

Enjoyed the food at Verdugo Bar from Tockys Pitas on Friday night we had a gathering enjoyed the most of the delicious items on the menu. The texture of the meat, veggies & sauce in the shawarma simply yummy, also the falafel is incredible, hummus with the warm pita is ¹⁰⁄₁₀! as well as their special seasoned fries with the garlic made our gathering has a special taste with the drinks.

Found Tockys Pita on Tuesday night at the Fig and York food truck night. I had already eaten so just wanted a quick snack. Got a salad and hummus with pita. Good food, friendly service… Definitely hit the spot :)

Rip off. Below average food for above average price. Fake garlic fries… some kind of garlic paste. Their large is McDonald’s small. To dime it up in one word… garbage.

Beef shawarma
First bites were wonderful, then the white sauce drained out the bottom. What was left was dry beef. Hummus was good. A little too pricy for what I got.

This is my second visit to this food truck. I had the chicken shwarma salad. It was just as delicious as the first time I had it! Excellent experience!!! You HAVE to try this truck!

Pretty much the best food truck experience ever.
The people are so pleasant and kind, the food is done quick and it’s so so so good. My meal tasted very homemade and the ingredients were fresh which is a huge plus. The truck itself is very clean also. Overall a great experience.
My life goal is to try everything they have before my doctor puts me on a diet.
EDIT: Just recently had their shawerma fries and I can’t believe no other mediterranean restaurant came up with a dish like this yet. You must try it!

Hands down best shawerm on a truck. This truck is so different from others. They have great customer service, the truck it self is decorated uniquely and you can’t help but be curious and come and check out what they have. I tried all there menu when I went with the family and we order one of each and shared it. Food is very authentic, I love the beef shawerma it is something else. Highly recommend this truck. Give it 5 stars.
