I first off want to give a 5 star to the skill set. By far the best wax experience as far as pain and results to date (have been waxing for over 12 years). The 3 star is only because of my disappointing experience with scheduling an appointment and follow-​thru. It took me 3 weeks to schedule my first appointment, and then there was a 2+ hour delay due to traffic. I was excited when all was said and done because I thought I had found my permanent waxer & we had an appointment scheduled a few weeks ago, I kept following up via phone, text and have received no response. Super bummed. I think Sarah has an awesome business right at her fingertips & will keep sending good vibes for her to be able to fully service her customers to match her amazing skillset.

I WAS STOOD UP FOUR TIMES! Do NOT use this woman’s services! If I could give NEGATIVE stars I would. I purchased 2 at-​home waxes from the Wax Doctor back in February. The first time I called her to make an appointment, she showed up very late but the service was fine. I then called her about 6 weeks later to make my 2^nd appointment that came with my package, and that’s when the problems started. I made the appointment with her and then on the day of I waited for 2 hours for her to show up and then started txting her to find out what was going on. She finally responded, saying she was in car accident. She then said we could reschedule for the next day. So the next day came, same thing, I’m waiting again for another two hours and not hearing anything back. Finally she responds, saying she’s not feeling well and that the car accident may have made her physically unwell. She apologizes and agrees to reschedule for the NEXT day. I wait AGAIN and it’s the same thing. No show, no call. I finally get a txt claiming she’s in the hospital, very sick. I don’t know what to think so I just let it go. I get a txt from her a couple of days later apologetic and wanting to reschedule. I had already gotten a wax elsewhere at this point so I tell her we can reschedule when I’m due for my next wax. We make the appointment for this past Thursday at 6pm. She txts me at 5:40 telling me she’s running late and can we reschedule for 6:30, I ask her where she is, and she says Arleta. I feel like a complete idiot at this point because I know she’s about to waste my time again. But at this point, I just want to get my wax (that I’ve already paid for) done so I don’t have to deal with her anymore. Long story short, she starts txting me, telling me she’s stuck in traffic and 2 ½ hours later I call her to find out what’s going on. She doesn’t answer her phone and I txt her and ask her to call me. After 3 hours WAITING AGAIN, she’s not responding at all and I’m duped again. I’m completely shocked at this so-​called «professional“s behavior. Needless to say, I never heard from her at all that night and still haven’t to this day. NEVER, EVER have I experienced such ridiculous unprofessional-​ism. I requested a refund for my second wax since I never got it and clearly I’m not going to. I would never work with this woman again EVER. I never write bad reviews but I’m writing this because not only did she waste hours and days of my time, she clearly is not a business professional and should not be used by anyone. Being stood up FOUR times is just unacceptable. And the fact that I never heard back from her just proves how little she really cares about her business.

If I could leave zero stars, I would. This woman is BEYOND unprofessional and had to reschedule our appointment three, yes 3, times. On the third appointment, she said she would be early to make up for it and she was 55 minutes late. She showed up at my door looking flustered and slightly drugged. If you have time to rearrange your entire life to make this wax happen, then perhaps she is your gal. Unfortunately, the inappropriate texts I’m still receiving from her make me think you can find a WAAAYYY better professional. I had to get a refund.

If you think you’ve found the perfect waxing place, but haven’t tried Sarah, you’re wrong! She is THE BEST! This shouldn’t even be called waxing because waxing is painful and awkward anywhere you go. But Sarah makes the experience extremely professional, confortable, and PAINLESS. The type of wax she uses is completely different from that used for strip waxing and you can clearly tell the quality of the product is amazing! She is friendly, funny, clean and her set-​up is quick and doesn’t take up much space. The best part about her services: she comes to YOUR house! How more comfortable can it get? Her schedule is also the most flexible anyone has and she fits you right in, even in cases of hair-​removal emergencies! I was leaving the country just a couple of days after I contacted her and even with my hectic schedule working 3 jobs and going to school she was able to accomodate me and do a terrific job! I recommend her services to anyone!
