Ross coaches both me and my youngest. Are results and experience has been amazing!!!
My youngest attends Musician’s Institute and attended a performing arts high school prior. I’ve been performing and singing for several years. We both found that from lesson #1, Ross provides amazing feedback and coaching. The impact on my daughter was remarkable — in her voice, her range, and her confidence.
I had recorded a song 2 weeks ago, attended a session with Ross, re-​recorded the vocals a day ago — and the first person who listened said, «Wow! Whatever you did between now and then, keep doing it. Amazing difference. «
He is «demanding» in a very encouraging way. If you say, «I can’t hit that note.» he provides direction that almost distracts you — having you work on something else only to discover that you are singing above the note you previously said you could not hit.
I highly recommend you contact him. get in for a lesson. You’ll be glad you did.

Ross is a great instructor with interesting techniques and concepts. Each person depending on where you are will be different, but I found that they really helped in letting out my voice and thinking of it as an instrument in new ways.
The only negative was some miscommunication with the packaged lessons. I was given the impression that the expiration date wasn’t something to worry about, and so the date passed and I had a number of unused ones. It was brought up when trying to schedule the next lesson, and it ended up that none of the remaining lessons could be redeemed without repurchasing. I was really upset and bummed about it, since if I had known the date was a hard and fast rule, I absolutely would’ve marked it and really made sure to use them in time.
So just be aware that in the package, you DEFINITELY need to get your lessons done by the expiration date if you want to use them all. It’s probably a good idea to check on those details (the expiration date and how many classes you have left), every month or so, if not every lesson, just to be on the same page. Other than that, the Voice Box was solid. Ross was a great teacher with a lot to learn from, and I took away something new at almost each lesson.

Ross is AMAZING!!! Anyone looking for a legit vocal coach in LA, should go see him. He has a very unique, easy to follow teaching style and I walked out of my first lesson with a huge smile on my face.
