Great place to get your fresh flowers if you’re in the downtown area. It’s open to the public on Saturdays, and costs $ 1 to get in, once inside, you’re treated to a massive space filled with fresh flowers. Admittedly, after a while I got bored because it was all the same stuff vendor after vendor. And I didn’t find the prices to be as low as I expected… so maybe temper your expectations before you go. A word of caution – if you decide to have breakfast in DTLA before hitting the flower market and then walk over, check your route carefully. We walked through one of the sketchiest neighborhoods I’ve been in in a long time(Wall St) to get there, and took a different and much safer-feeling route(Spring St) on the way back. Wall Street in LA is nothing like Wall Street in NY… :)

This is the oldest AND easily THEBEST flower market in all of SoCal. Best service, best selection, best vendors and now they have an amazing café and farmer’s market! Look, don’t waste your time at the other flower shops in the area. This one is the best and has an amazing selection from orchids and daisies to moss and succulents. It’s the one stop shop for any event and a true Los Angeles institution.
