The Slummin’ Gourmet

Standing the heat, a beer in hand, surrounded by drunken scene kids, I sought after something with taste, something with valor, something with garlic. I stumbled upon the Slummin’ Gourmet food truck, which grabbed my gf and I by surprise. We explored the menu only to find some extravagant combinations such as avocado lobster tacos and cream filled churros, but we were in awe at the Garlic Manchego Curly Fries. In terms of taste, the Garlic Manchego Curly Fries were pretty awesome, but there was a slight kick to them that required that you had plenty of water with you. The prices were $ 7 for a little tray of them, but I guess that’s what happens when they cater to a festival. I probably would not go back as I am a man of simpler sorts, but for those who love adventure and weird foods, knock yourselves out!
