We went here around october, we ordered nilagang baka, kare kare, lechon kawali, and garlic fried rice and we were very disappointed because the foods are re heated and the kare kare tasted sour then when I got home I had an upset stomach like the whole night! I should’ve went to the one in glendale! Not going back here again!

I ordered some food for pick up. Pancit Canton was good. Crispy Pata was awesome. Diniguan was good. Inihaw na Baboy was okay. The only negative I can say is that the inihaw and dinuguan portions were small for take out. Not bad.

Kumusta and mabuhay mofos! First dining out experience of the new year and a good one at that. Wifey and I finally got some alone time so we decided to treat ourselves on New Year. Everything was closed except for 7 – 11 and McDonald’s, and I wasn’t feeling Big Macs or a hot dog that’s been rolling for 6 fucking hours on a stale ass bun. Lo and behold I came across this place. Parked strolled in and were immediately seated. So here’s the thing, aside from tiny little eggrolls, i’d never eaten filipino cuisine in my life so I had to ask our server Ace, which by the way was great, for suggestions. 1) Lumpiang Shanghai: The tiny little eggrolls that pack a Tyson-like flavor punch! Crispy and filled with pork and shrimp. Good shit people. 2) Pancit Canton: Tender noodles mixed with pork, shrimp and some tasty ass vegetables. 3) Pork adobo: Marinated pork in a garlic-vinegar sauce. Bomb as fuck! Had it over some steamed white rice and grubbed. The pork literally fell off the bone which is always a plus. To drink wifey had pineapple juice and I had some sort of lemon-lime drink which was good as hell and refreshing. After having a good sized serving and feeling satisfied as all get out we still had a shitload of food left, so our server Ace paked it up for us(enough for a nice lunch for two) and $ 45 bucks later we were out the door. Yeah it’s a little pricey, but worth it. I’ll hit it again. Mamaya!

I’ve tried almost everything on their menu and I am a fan! Whenever my family and I are SUPER hungry and crave filipino food we go here. Their service is extremely nice and pleasant. But like most filipino places, the sago’t gulaman is not sweet enough is watered down. THUMBSUP!

I really liked the food here. The service was impeccable. I really felt like I was being waited on. My mom, however, felt differently. She said she missed that certain taste you get when you eat Filipino food(the taste from her childhood). She’s referring to the salt and MSG. For me, that’s a good thing, health wise speaking. There were also some differences from the traditional way that these dishes were prepared i.e. beef steak were chunks of meat, rather than filets. It was the same taste though. I didn’t like the eggplant omelette. I know it’s traditionally prepared with ground beef, but I like it with just the eggplant. Makes it less salty. The lumpia and pancit were good. And the sago guluman was yummy!
The customer service was alright but the food didn’t live up to the Filipino dishes I really like. My best friends mom cooks a lot of traditional Filipino dishes and trust me their Pancit had soup which normally it doesn’t. I have to say they would have to hire original Filipino from Philippines not the American made here in California. I’m sorry the service was great but the food was not even close to any authentic then they described in their menus. I’d rather just go to Max.

Ordered adobong sitaw today & that was just really bad… Please do something about that. Did you guys hire a new cook? Worst yet & I know your foods are good or else we won’t come here…

We were seated right when we got in, they gave us a menu and came back to take our order at a timely manner. It wasn’t the best Filipino food I’ve ever had but it was pretty great! We ordered the chicken adobo that had mostly fat in it, garlic rice, kare kare, pancit, and dunuguan that didn’t look like it but my boyfriend said it taste the same. Portions could feed about three to four people so my boyfriend and I took home a lot of it. Customer Service was amazing, they greeted us, chatted and made sure we were ok the entire time. Water was always refilled when they saw it was half full and when we asked for the check and to go boxes they packed our food for us! Awesome experience, will be back again!

Had a nice family dinner here and I don’t understand why there are a lot of bad reviews; we were greeted warmly and seated promptly. Danny and Ace were awesome; kept it cool for a packed house! The crispy pata was delicious, as was the pancit malabon, crispy pusit(my fave!) and the lechon kawali was okay. We will definitely be back; we had a great time, thanks guys!!!

I just celebrated my 30th birthday. Everyone was nice and accommodating. They were on top of everything. I didnt have to ask or worry about anything. Food is very good, location is easy to find. Definitely worth the money.

It’s hard to find some good Filipino food that’s better than the home cooked versions endive is used to, but I think I can say that they hit it on some of the dishes. I was surprised how empty it was when I walked in considering it is really small and my family came for lunch right after church, but it was starting to get busy as we left. Their house specials are the crispy Pata which can be ordered in 3 sizes and the kare kare. My mom ordered both with the standard plate of rice. And they are generous with the rice. one order could probably feed 4 or 5 people. The crispy pata was excellently cooked and the kare kare was good and it’s served in a clay pot to keep warm. The service was really friendly and the food came out quickly. There are a couple more dishes I’ll want to come back and try so I’ll be back.

Never coming to this place again! Me and my boyfriend decided to come here for brunch and we found a big plastic hiding underneath my food.

**RATINGONLYFOR«CRISPYPATA» & «FRIEDPUSIT(pretty much calamari, Filipino style I guess)** We usually order to-go and when we do this is all we order to-go with our other lunch/dinner items from somewhere else or cooked at home lol. everything else on the menu is nothing special, just very salty like most Filipino restaurants. The crispy pata here is the best I’ve had compared to anywhere else! It’s very CRISPYANDNOTGREASY! The meat comes off the bone very easily and you don’t bite into big chunks of fat! The fried pusit is also very crispy, and the squid is very tender and not over cooked(I hate over cooked squid, it’s a tough rubbery texture! A lot of restaurants have that problem when not timing the fry time right!), they also make a hole in the box so that it doesn’t get soggy and stays crispy. I’m not sure if they do this all the time but The hole is a pretty big triangle, like they knew we were gonna eat it in the car. which we did, hence the fried pusit not being pictured *4 stars not 5 sorry to say, because everything else on the menu is not really worth trying.*

Went there after they had opened up to start the day and nothing was prepared. We were the second family to show up and when ordering, the waiter mentioned hour wait for food. Also we asked for certain items on the menu and were told unavailable because they were seasonal, while Max’s in Glendale had plenty in stock. Not very welcoming environment and disappointing in their menu. Save your time and go somewhere else.

Rude and unethical service. We were trying to get the waiters attention and he said, «what do you want» in Tagalog, from across the room instead of coming to the table They made us go up to the counter and pick up our change. Will not recommend to anyone.

Its new year’s day today 01.01.2015 Every filipino restaurants was close today and we had no choice but to go here. We got there and their grade was a «B» rating. And I realized why their grade was a «B» rating. Horrible customer service to start of. The waiter threw the menu on the table, who does that? Ordered«Pork Sinigang» and«Beef Kaldereta» Pork Sinigang’s soup tasted like DISHWASHERSOAP, so we had to return that order back and cancel it. The waiter didnt even apologize to us that their entrée was prepared horribly. Beef Kaldereta was«ok» only. The potatoes in the beef kaldereta was so HARD, it wasnt cooked well and almost all of the meat was too soft that its shredding. We had a bad experienced here.

My best friend took me to this place. We got the crispy pata and the Kare kare. I did not know how big the portions were but it was huge and I really liked it. The crispy pata was a little bit intimidating since it is an actual deep-fried pig leg, but it was tasty, crispy and moist. You just got to take the site of the actual pig leg out of your head. The Kare kare was excellent however there was more sauce than actual meat and vegetables. The service was very good, they were very attentive to our needs. I want to go there again to try the Pancit and the adobo.

I always enjoys a great Filipino food and this place has it. They have a variety of choices that yourt pallet will enjoy from a taste soothing crispy pata, to bitter melon to dessert such as halo halo. Being one that has been to the Philippines the food is legiot and tasty. Service is great and they will make sure that you are well taken care of. Parking is in the same mini mall as Seafood city. It is a non issue.

Full disclosure — They have a «B» rating, which I didn’t notice until after I was halfway done with my meal. Had I noticed the«B» on their window ahead of time, I probably would have eaten elsewhere. But, I didn’t, and I loved it. Good food tends to be the cure all for me, and Barrio Fiesta’s food was good enough to make me forget about how disgusting it is for a restaurant to get anything below an «A» rating. I am sure I have eaten worse than a «B» in other countries(Philippines, Mexico, etc), but something about seeing a big blue«B» sign in a window freaks me out. The fact that I noticed it mid meal, and didn’t care, is a huge compliment for this place. I had their crispy pata(pork) and crispy pusit(squid), with a boat load of rice… Both of them hit the spot. Definitely not the healthiest of meals, but extremely delicious. Plus, the service was great. They were well staffed, and at least four different servers came up to us during our meal to see if we needed anything. I never had to ask for more water, and was able to just sit and enjoy my meal without having to worry about flagging anybody down. I thought their pricing was fair. For my two dishes plus whatever it is my wife got, it came out to about $ 45.00 after tax. The portions were generous, and we were able to take home some leftovers for dinner. Overall, if you are willing to overlook their rating, I highly recommend this place. I do hope they eventually make the necessary adjustments to place an «A’ on their window, but won’t let their«B» keep me from coming back in the meantime.
