My husband and I got married in Boston but had our traditional Korean wedding ceremony at this venue. While my parents did most of the leg work planning this event since they live in LA, I’ve heard nothing but positive feedback about their experience. The day itself went very smoothly, the staff is very accommodating and the food was very good! They provide package deals, such as cake, catering, paebaek options and etc. If you are looking for a reception location to also do Korean paebaek, I would highly recommend this place. They have a variety of outfits and all the props ready. You also have the option of bringing your own alcohol to the event for your guests.

I had my birthday party here. It was an afternoon cocktail party. This venue served my purposes very well. The pricing was reasonable compared to other venues and the owner was super nice. They also catered appetizers and my guests loved the food. The chicken skewers were eaten up very quickly. Their Canapé spread was excellent in presentation and looked beautiful. The items were larger than I expected based on the photos. We had more people RSVP last minute so we added on food just 3 days before the party and they were able to accommodate. They have led lighting set up in their main ballroom and a stage that’s lit. If the weather had been cooler we would have used the patio area more but it was nice for guests to step outside. I looked at many venues before this one and I’m glad we found this. Parking was convenient since the bldg had it’s own structure and only $ 2 with validation. My event was on a Sunday so some guests found free street parking.

one of my uncle got married in November 13th. I was surprised because their service was great. The perception exceeded my expectation. They remained food as fresh and arranged them very nice! I recommended one of brother to have reception here, the one banquet! If you want to have a grear reception, go to the one banquet!

My sister just had her wedding here this past Saturday, and I was her wedding coordinator so I was there for every step of the planning/booking process, as well as helping to ensure that the actual day went smoothly. We chose this venue because: 1) It was within her very very tight budget 2) We just paid a per person fee — no additional fee for ceremony/reception venue rental 3) We were able to bring our own alcohol(limited to a certain amount) and there was no corkage fee… just had to pay $ 25/hr fee for bartender/bar set up 4) Even though this is a Korean run banquet hall that’s used to having their weddings happen in 1 place(Korean weddings just use the one ballroom so that people are already seated at the tables, and there’s an aisle down the center so that the ceremony & reception are all in one), they were willing to work with my sister’s desire to have a ceremony separate from the reception. 5) We were the only wedding/event of the day, so we had the venue from 10 am to start setting up and it was easily available the night before for the rehearsal Since my sister had a very specific idea of the look she wanted for the wedding, she came prepared with pictures/print outs that she provided the venue, and with that, they made a lace overlay and drapery/lighting behind the sweetheart table that was included in the per person package. No additional fee at all! The patio that we had the ceremony at was recently renovated this past summer, so it was perfect! They put in new flooring, painted the walls, and placed a gazebo which was a great focus for the ceremony. The flow of the area worked really well for us too. You take the elevators up to the 5th floor, so as soon as the doors open, and you look around, you can see the table at the front to greet the guests. We also placed the bar as well as an appetizer and dessert table in that front/lobby area. The lobby then leads out to the patio area to the left, and if you look straight, leads into the ballroom. Because my sister had a guestlist of only 120, we were able to partition off part of the ballroom and placed the buffet there. That was still plenty of room for her sweet heart table that was up on a small raised stage as well as 13 tables of 9, and a dance floor in the middle. Hannah, our main venue contact, was there the whole day, and made sure that the food in the buffet was kept filled. The food that we chose was a great mix between Korean and American, and also included a carving station. And when my sister wanted to extend the night from her original time of 11:30, we were allowed to have the music keep playing until midnight for free. Any extra food from the night was packed for us so that people could take extras home, and when the lights were turned on at midnight and guests very slowly made their way out, we weren’t rushed out, even though I’m sure the workers there were all tired. The next morning, when I was taking my sister and her new husband to the airport for their honeymoon, she told me that it was the best day/night ever! That’s got to be the best recommendation ever, right?

I took my family here for a Mother’s Day dinner show. It was $ 70 a person so imagine my surprise when the food was almost but not even quite comparable to buffet styles in the $ 12-$ 15 range at random Japanese buffet places. The most expensive main dish was possible the Korean beef, but even that was skimped by someone choosing to serve the guests(for only this particular dish) two small 2 – 3 inch cubes of meat. Really? There was also some sushi and fried shrimp. So, you might be wondering if the dinner was compensated by some great live show? Well, there was a good singer, some random prizes, drums, dancing, and even belly dancers(by little elementary school children… which kind of only belonged to a small talent show in your elementary school maybe…). Then there was karaōke for those that selected a song… this was kind of boring. I feel like they just overcharged everyone and skimped every way possible on both food and entertainment. I would have had better food and live entertainment at a cheaper price at a jazz restaurant or something. Maybe I wouldn’t have felt so jipped if the price was more like $ 30 a person. But I paid $ 70 a person for paltry buffet food and lackluster entertainment. I want my money back.
