This is the spot to watch the game in Culver City! The Garage was way bigger than I thought and parking wasn’t a problem. I hear that they even do karaōke here on some nights. I highly recommend their Mac ‘n Cheese sandwich — it’s as good as it sounds! The portion sizes are huge so expect to take food home. They have several screens throughout the bar and large tables to accommodate large parties. The service was amazing! They do split it up individually — even with big groups. Definitely coming back!

As a Patriots fan, this place is like a second home. Great sports bar to come to for game day, though I’d caution non-fans sporting other teams’ gear, as drunk football fans can be quite rowdy. The Garage has great beer prices, the food is tasty(for bar food), and there are ample TVs to watch. It’s even split into two separate areas, which actually feel like two completely different bars at times. Now, unfortunately, due to the huge turnouts on certain days/nights, the service can occasionally be spotty. The parking situation is also atrocious, but that’s really nothing new in this part of town. I’d suggest looking for street parking, as using the adjacent parking lot may get your car blocked in… or worse. Make a reservation for a table for football games, or you’ll be standing the entire time!

Like that they have many TV everywhere, waitress was very nice best part of place very friendly. Food was not very good smallest chicken wings i have ever seen. Overpriced !! Not many sports bars in this area so it’s limited. Likely not coming coming back.

Only been here for the early Sunday football games. Food is awful. Parking is awful. Too many obnoxious Patriots fans. Even the people who work there are Patriot fans.

This is my kind o’ place. American mechanic garage turned sports bar restaurant with good food, full bar drinks selection, friendly service, classic rock music, sports entertainment and super reasonable prices. Happy Hour is great and home of the fabulous half pound«happy hour burger». What are you waiting for… Come on in!

I’d say 3.5 stars! This place has all your bar food done right. I observed all the dishes coming out of the kitchen and boy do they look tasty! Great sport bar! A: Wings — I got the second to spiciest one, pretty good, sweet and spicy A-: Jalepeno Tater tots — cheesy, crispy tots, yums, they don’t make them like these in elementary school B-: Sloppy Joe sliders — too sweet, I mixed in on top of the tater tots and that was good Good place to stop by for some artery clogging food :)

This place is not bad for a sports bar. I have been here about four times and up until my last visit I was not impressed with this place. I keep coming back to this place because it is walking distance to apartment and they allow dogs on the patio. Downfalls have been sub-par food, crazy bar patrons, and crowds. Ordered a cheeseburger in the past and it was not good. Dry patty n the toppings(lettuce n tomato) tasted old. Fries were whatever. Went here another time to get a few drinks but i limited my visit to just one drink because two bar patrons were yelling profanity back in forth at each other over a baseball game(happened for like 20 minutes n then i left) Could not wait to get out of there. Crowd is another thing. Came here for an nfl game and sat out on the patio for 15 minutes because i had my dog. No one came out to the patio to take my order after 15 minutes of waiting so I decided to leave. My last visit was a different story. Came here for the broncos game. Sat inside. The place was packed – only two tables left. Good thing there was plenty of tvs. Surprisingly we were immediately greeted by a server who took our drink and food order. The server also made sure the game we wanted was on the tv in front of us. We ordered 12 wings(half buffalo half bbq sauce). Wings were really good. Crispy and tangy. Buffalo was not very spicy but still good. We also ordered the sweet potato fries. The fries were good. We also ordered a pitcher of Bud Light for $ 10, which is a good pretty good deal. Overall, this place is not a bad place to watch a sports game/event. There are plenty of tvs and room for large groups. The price is not bad for drinks and im becoming more of a believer in the food.

I’ve been here a couple of times and had a great time each time. We’ve come here to watch World Cup soccer to UFC fights. I like the fact that it’s spacious and has plenty of seating. On one occasion, we came when it was packed with all tables taken. But if you’re patient enough, a table or bar chairs open up. Great beer selection and food is pretty good for bar food. Parking can fill up quickly, so you may have to resort to parking on the street. If you live in the neighborhood, I recommend walking there.

Just came in for some beer and ordered a craft beer they had, Victory. Was pretty terrible beer TBH. We also walked through one end through a private party and got nasty looks even though we were just walking through. Oh well.

Fun. Hipster. Pricey. But… Not sure it’s worth the price and parking is tight on game days. I felt like they were trying really hard to be the cool kids on the block. If you like beards and skinny jean’d guys this could be your place.

This huge sports bar has a lot to offer. Multiple rooms and an outdoor area. Large space, with multiple TVs. This is great for groups and watching a game. There is a huge room with high energy for game day and a small side room that has a dark ambiance for more of a small tavern feel. The bar has a fun theme with old vintage signs and car memorabilia. They have a great menu. Different food choices than most bar menus, lots of salads, pizza, sloppy joes root beer floats. I had the grilled cheese sandwich and tomato soup. It was fantastic! The soup was full of flavor and sandwich was melted to perfection. The wait staff was very friendly. I totally recommend this place.

No complaints. They’ve got a lot of t.v.‘s and they’re aware of what sports events are relevant, which is more than most sports bars, sadly. They also will generally have the volume on a game, which is another plus for a sports bar. They’ve got a pretty decent beer selection and they’ve got decent happy hour prices. Food is typical bar food, nothing special. I’ve enjoyed the pork sliders fine, mainly because of the price.

I came here during happy hour to celebrate a co-worker’s birthday. There’s a good collection of draft beers at happy hour prices including one of my favorites, Fat Tire Ale. I recommend ordering a pitcher if you’re going to consume at least 3 pints because it’s a much better deal. I ordered the Basic Burger and it was good for the price. It came with fresh, thin fries. I’ll be back!

I was so excited when I saw this bar being built just blocks from my apartment. It is big, tons of TVs for watching sports, super clean. I think the service could use a lot of work, I’ve been here a couple times when it’s not very busy and got completely ignored by the bartender. I’d say the food is decent, but not great. Prices are a bit much for a sports bar and the happy hour could really use some work. The plus is this is a GREAT place to watch a game with friends. It gets loud, but the energy is good. They also host fight nights for only $ 5 entry fee which is awesome. There are not many good restaurants/bars right in this area so it is definitely convenient.

Came for the Laker game vs Warriors– biggest NBA game of Laker season(5% chance to snap Warriors win streak) is on right this minute– they put the game on THREE32″ TVs & leave the other NINE on the most boring college TV u never wanna watch. I don’t get it. Waitress smiling at me like she did me a favor with just ONE screen on this huge wall. How bout ALL of them! No ucla fans here for retro games! Low sports sense. But sheesh NOBODY has ping pong outside.

Went here for the UFC Rousey fight on a Saturday night. Before i even stepped inside, it took me over 30 minutes to find a parking spot(and not because I was being lazy). I drove at least a half a mile in every direction. Anyways, i saw valet parking a couple of blocks up for another restaurant n parked there. Maybe for the next big fight the Garage could get a valet company for their lot. Paid $ 10 cover for the fight. Place was packed and it was standing room only. As for the interior. I loved the theme and vintage car motif. Lots of televisions. Friendly n attentive bartnders despite the crowd. Food was quick. Almost died after eating their boneless wing(not from the food, but the intense flavor of the ghost pepper). Loved the honey glaze sauce. There r basically 3 different rooms here. Great vibe. Will definetly be back, just gonna make sure i über it.

I came here for Sunday football with some buddies and am so glad a place like this exist in this area now. I’ve grown up in the area and when I come home to visit, it’s nice to have a bar only a few blocks away from home. They have some great beers on tap and always fun playing some shuffle board. They didn’t have any specials on beers when I was there but I heard the happy hour on weekdays in killer. I didn’t try the food so I can’t contest to how that is.

This is a nice neighborhood sports bar in the Palms area. The service was a little on the slow side but we all enjoyed our drinks and appetizers(calamari and tuna poke crisps are both good). From what I hear — they have a good happy hour here. Lots of tvs and they often have UFC pay per view nights. I would walk — not run — back to The Garage.

Been here a couple times now to watch football. Once for the Superbowl and another time for Sunday football. Both times were SUPER crowded but fun. Parking can be a pain so if you can über or get there early, I’d recommend it/Sat in the front area for the Superbowl — luckily some friends got there earlier to save some seats. Most recently sat in the back area for my friend’s birthday. He got there around 9:30ish to save seats. There are multiple screens playing different games and can be a little overwhelming. If you are a football beginner like I am, its a bit much. People are shouting and cheering from multiple directions and I found myself turning my head all day! If you start a tab at the bar, you can’t order from the waitress — bar isn’t too bad but can get crowded. The beer is reasonably priced and the food is pretty good. If you get there before 11:30, you can get $ 5 mimosas! I ordered the Ahi tuna bites which were really tasty. Really fun bar to watch football.

Ooooh, so close!(But not really.) The only good thing about this place is the free parking lot. Sigh. The kid’s appendix almost burst last week and he had to have surgery! I know, you don’t care. But I had to explain why I was wondering around Motor Ave. on a Wednesday.(Chauffeuring him around town since his Über app finger is obvs still medicated as well…) Pulled in here ‘cuz Unilocal said the joint has Wifi, but… — Wifi didn’t work. — Super dead inside. — The waitress/bartender seemed quite bummed to be there as well. — The décor inside strives to be cute but hits the mark right around cheap and sterile. — Food is WAY overpriced and not very good.(Read: bad.) You know the old adage about pizza, right. Mhm. Wait, but Tito’s is on the menu! Oh, but it’s a really shitty pour for $ 9. Nope. Nope. Nope. Nope. Nope. Nope.

I came here to meet up with some friends to catch one of the NBA finals games. This place is huge. I walked in the front room and didn’t see my friends and then made my way down a hall which opened up to another bar and large seating area. There is also an outside patio with seating and shuffle board. Being that there was a major sporting event going on, the place was packed. I met up with my group of friends who were sitting at a large table and I had my doubts that a waitress would even come by, but I was wrong. I was actually surprised at how attentive the wait staff was with the place being so packed. They were all hustling! As for the food, I only ordered a couple of things and neither of the items were memorable. First off, I do realize I was at a sports bar, but I ended up ordering a kale salad. I greatly appreciate the fact that this was even an option, but the dressing just needed more lemon, more citrus to really bump up it up. The other item ordered was loaded potato skins for the table to share. It’s typical bar food fare, so I was expecting more from this dish. Unfortunately, these were probably the lamest potato skins I’ve ever come across. For watching sporting events, especially for big groups, this place seems perfect.

Came here for the Mayweather-Pacquiao fight and it was packed! It was a $ 20 cover(not bad considering what the other places were charging) and we got there around 4 hours early, but there were still no tables available. No complaints though, because we eventually got seating later on. My friends and I were wondering why we’ve never been here before, especially because we live about 2 – 3 blocks away, but we will for sure be back for the next big fight/game! This place is the perfect spot to watch sports games, and their happy hour is supposedly good as well. If I was going to make this review only about the food, it would be a 2 star review. I ordered the truffle tots, and I’m not even sure what I was eating. Tasted like mashed potatoes that were fried and some shaved cheese on top; not very good. My boyfriend ordered buffalo wings and they were alright. On that plate were sides of celery and carrots and I swear those carrots look dried up like they’ve been sitting outside for a week LOL, ew! However, you can’t expect a lot for bar food. The drinks here were strong and reasonably priced, and there are plenty of TVs so theres no bad spot in this place. I also was to commend the staff! There was one girl that was taking any and everyone’s order outside(wish I got her name) and she was super nice and efficient especially with the hectic crowd that night. Will be back soon!
