This place has some really great sunglasses at reasonable prices. The owner is very friendly and when I noticed one of the screws was missing on the frame of the glasses I got, he gave me a great deal on another pair.

The Fenix is located in the Artist Co-​Op in DTLA’s Arts District. It’s a small shop that specializes in natural scented products like candles and soaps… but this is nothing like Bath & Body Works. Nope. This store caters to the hip, young and artistic… the Brad Pitts of the architecture world and most certainly not the Lindsay Lohans of the fashion industry.
The Fenix is particularly proud of their candles and they should be. They’re made out of a 100% natural coco soy blend with a wood wick – they burn clean leaving no residue in the votive. The scent is not at all overpowering yet fragrant. I had to buy one! I purchased the Vanilla Orange candle just to try it out… they’re not cheap after all: $ 25 for one, three for $ 70. If I enjoy it at home as much as I truly did at the co-​op, I’ll likely come back and buy more.
The Fenix also sells some really super soft t-​shirts, sunglasses and other accessories, but their main thing is candles. I also received great service from the guy manning the shop. Friendly, knowledgeable and patient.
