Total tourist trap. Came here to have dinner with all of my cousins. My aunt chose this place over others because we had two young kids with us and she thought it would be better suited for family. She also thought that my cousins from Canada would want to see the area. We arrived and there were barely any people in the restaurant. Service was good but the food was absolutely horrible. I ordered corn chowder and got a cup of something that tasted like watered down condensed corn with who knows what to make it look like chowder. It was gross. I passed it over to a cousin and he thought it was gross too. Saddest part is that when we called the server over to let him know, it looked like he ALREADYKNEW. LOL. Poor Guy. A bunch of us ordered steak and got dry tasteless meat. My BF ordered their Tuna salad or something and that was pretty oily. The only thing we actually did enjoy was the calamari and that awesome vinaigrette that came with it. I will be fair though and say that service really was good. The servers were attentive and even let us stay a little past closing. They also worked with me and my cousins when it came to paying for the bill secretly(as my aunt never lets us pay for anything and we wanted to do something nice for her), hence the two stars. If it wasn’t for the awesome service, I would be reluctant to even give 1 star for this place. Sorry.

This is a nice spot to come for lunch at La Live Downtown, especially if you enjoy healthy options! Very affordable, decent service and pleasant inside. I had the chicken and feta salad, and a cup of the Turkey Chilli Soup which was delicious. They have heavier options for those who prefer. Worth a try for sure.

Pretty good service however, I wasn’t overly impressed with the food. Stopped here for dinner two weeks ago before a performance next door at the Grammy Museum. No wait — seated immediately. Server was attentive and friendly. I opted for the Buttermilk Fried Chicken which came with mashed potatoes and collared green with bacon. Devoured the potatoes and greens however, I felt that the chicken skin/batter was too thick. It was nice and crispy and the meat was tender and juicy — but the outside was too thick for my taste. Good size portion — it’s about a half a chicken. Parking is what it is in the LA Live/Staples area. If you don’t mind walking — the further away, the less it’ll cost you.

I don’t understand why they only have 3 stars the food was amazing. The salmon was crispy on the outside but oh so tender on the inside. The chicken was also really good. The service could have been a bit better, our waiter did not make it back you our table until we asked for the check. Other than that I loved it.

I stopped by quickly to pick up a to go order — the quinoa burger and fries. The staff was very nice and the burger was delicious. The fries were soggy though so I did not end up eating them. Overall it was a decent to good experience. Nothing incredible but definitely good for what it was

Came in on a Friday morning. Was pretty dead. Our server sucked.(Julio) As a server myself I know the difference. He wasn’t sure about anything on the menu. Didn’t know the prices of mimosas. Couldn’t really describe my plate to me before I ordered it. Then when the bussed took our plates as sat for 10 min. I repeat 10min to get our check as he stood there against the wall talking to his coworkers. As for food it was okay. I got the croissant breakfast sandwich potatoes were a bit burnt. Oh man so sad since breakfast is my favorite meal of the day.

Nooooo! I really wanted to give this place 5 stars. Last year when I worked at the LA Autoshow I came here almost everyday for 2 weeks and I loved it. The lemonade was so delicious it made me giddy and all the food was perfect. The food is still good here, but over the year somehow-someway it’s all just not as good. The lemonade tasted watery, the macaroni and cheese wasn’t as flavorful, the soup wasn’t spiced as well. Something has changed and it’s a bit sad. But even so, this is still a nice place! And one thing hasn’t changed; the service is wonderful. Everyone is so nice and respectful here. The burgers are very good and I’d say the salads are always a safe bet. I really enjoyed the juicy BBQ bacon burger, and on another day I had a crisp and refreshing tortilla salad with chicken. You can also get a wide range of coffee here! Sweet potato fries are yummy. It’s a very calm, clean, and relaxing environment. I’ve actually never been here on a busy day. There’s a lot of comfortable seating and again… GREAT service. Yes that’s it. I don’t have anything weird to write. P. S. I’m trapped on an island with very little service and my phone is dying, please help, I’m somewhere in the Atlantic Ocean near Ireland.

I stopped here for brunch with my husband before seeing the LA Kings at Staples. We made a reservation and were seated right away(that doesn’t always happen, so I was happy since we were on the clock). Since it was before noon, they offered breakfast and some sandwiches. I ordered their version of eggs benedict and my husband had the corned beef hash. We were happy with both our meals. The quality and taste were excellent. The portions were a bit smaller than we expected, though. My husband ended up getting hungry about an hour or so later, but I was good. You are served better, more wholesome ingredients here, as they aim to follow the farm-to-table construct, so you pay a little bit more, which we are okay with. The service was excellent, even though I could tell they were pretty busy. The restaurant is in LA Live, so parking is just wherever you can find it – usually a paid lot. I would come here again if I was around Staples Center, but wouldn’t go out of my way if I wasn’t.

Each time I’ve been to DTLA for work, I have eaten at The Farm. And each time, I’ve gotten the exact same thing. I can’t speak to any other dishes besides the Ahi Three Ways salad. And the garlic fries. :-) Those are really really yummy too. The salad though — omg. Tuna tartare, tuna wrapped in a crêpe, and pepper crusted ahi slices, served over a large bed of greens with fresh tomato salsa and warm ponzu sauce. SOFABULOUS! Service has always been upbeat and friendly. Next time my job brings me to the LACC, I will be getting this salad(and garlic fries) again!

I looked at the 3 star reviews and was a little apprehensive setting foot in here! However I am PLEASANTLY surprised. Granted the food takes a little while to come but it’s DEFINITELY fresh and extremely tasty The Huevos rancheros is a 5÷5− different from others because it has this delicious layer of mashed potatoes, YES I said mashed potatoes. Personally I never tasted a bad potato(mashed/fried/boiled/hash) so it totally took this dish to the next level. The sauce is super tasty and cheesy Service 5⁄5 Ambiance 4⁄5 Coffee is mediocre

A nod to the simple farm days with fresh farm ingredients and comfort cuisine. Farm favorites like meatloaf muffins, buttermilk fried chicken, sweet corn chowder, corned beef hash & potatoes and chicken pot pies are joined with California cuisine favorites like the ahi salad 3 ways, truffled mac ‘n cheese and stuffed lobster roll. The dining room has a simple farm house feel with wooden booths, yellow paint and a barn beamed ceiling(kinda weird in the flashy LA Live entertainment district). I stopped in for lunch and went with the crispy chicken sandwich with fries and the calamari appetizer along with an iced tea. The calamari was tasty and comes with marinara and cilantro-lime dipping sauces. I liked the addition of jalapeños in the calamari for a nice spicy flare. I didn’t like the cilantro-lime dipping sauce as it had no flavor and a very runny consistency. Everything was good(standard) and quelled my hunger so I can’t really rave or complain. $ 35(included tip) was kind of high for a standard fare lunch but somewhat expected because of the prime LA Live real estate. The Farm offers plenty of al fresco seating with a heated patio, a fireplace and a view of the LA Live action. Service was a little lackluster and could use some polishing. There was only 3 parties eating in the restaurant so the servers should have been on their A game. The Farm looks like a good spot for breakfast farm favorites… the breakfast menu has a wide selection. I would make sure to check out all your dining options in the area before making your lunch decision.

Their eggs Benedict with turkey is really good however I’ll be back for dessert and their amazing cappuccino. I’m a huge coffee drinker and love cappuccino’s-gotta say amazing! Their peanut butter banana French toast was 90% banana– was hoping for more peanut butter. Other than that great service and ambience!

When my hunnie decided to have a daytime lunch date last week i picked this place, why didnt i just go with katsuya? This place was nothing special and the only nice thing was the prices. Our waiter took our order and for starters i had the corn chowder and my gf had the salmon bisque we decided on the chicken wrap and crispy chicken sandwich. Big mistake on the entrees and chowder. Our server also said he was bringing us these delicious cornbread muffins they are known for, they never even came. The corn chowder had this apple sauce texture, it was terrible. Isnt chowder suppose to be nice and smooth, my gf bisque was really good and the texture was nice and smooth, I hated the chowder, i felt like i was eating oatmeal or grits. The salmon bisque had a bit of heat to it which was nice. The chicken sandwich I ordered was fried wayyy too long and super thin too, i hated it, fries were cool. My gf said her wrap was just okay but had to kind of aoli sauce of flavor. I didnt like the experience here at all, they need to step their flavoring game up, fix that corn chowder and select better chicken breast. I would not return here at all.

Came in today for brunch. We had a reservation and were taken straight to our table. As we were walking in, I joked to my sister that we might not meet the requirements to eat here, because we may have been the only party in the place without a single hipster beard among us. Our server, John, showed up quickly to get drink orders, and was pretty quick and attentive overall. I had the fried egg croissant sandwich, sis had stuffed french toast and mom had the pulled pork hash. Everything was delicious. The bacon on my sandwich was thick and perfectly cooked, and the aioli was flavorful. The stuffed french toast was gooey and sweet, and the pork had just a bit of a kick to it. The only real complaint was that mom asked for her eggs well done, and the yolks were still runny. She said they were still good, and didn’t even bring it up. I’m not in the area often, but I’d go back!

I took the clan here to try out LA Live on a weekend that was not crowded. Came for breakfast and sightseeing, as LA Live is so expensive to go regularly. Our party of seven was seated within minutes with the help of Opentable, and immediately noticed the farm décor and barn construction of the eatery. I’m glad we were there for breakfast, as this theme is not conducive to any other type of meal of the day. There is definitely a potato nazi in the kitchen, as even the eggs benedict has potato as its starch, which is okay, but kind of weird. I heard the corn soup was good, so my son ordered it, but commented«meh» as I was hoping to impress him. The winning order was the peanut butter and banana french toast, which my son and daughter passed around to each other. Pricing is reasonable for the area, so I was happy about that, plus 15% was taken off as an LA Live Preferred member on slow days. The price of our entire party was just over $ 100 w/o tip. If asked whether I would go again, I would probably go for the price, rather than the meal, as it is a basic home-cooking type of restaurant that could easily be replicated at, well, home. I would not take a girlfriend or client here to impress, but if I needed a quick meal just to eliminate hunger pains, this place would do the trick.

I was really excited to try this place after hearing all the rage that it was pretty good. I should have thought twice especially after reading the reviews and seeing that it’s only 3 stars compared to other restaurants in the surrounding area. I read the menu that they have placed outside and found something that I wanted to order. I walk up and begin to place my order. Ellie, the team member working the café/to go station said they didn’t have that item on the menu. Okay, but it’s on the menu posted outside?! They should consider changing the menu outside to prevent confusion to their potential customers. Okay, so I change up my order to actually order something they had on the menu. I required separate receipts for I was needing them to expense at work. I had to repeat that to Ellie, whom I began to feel somewhat of a sarcastic attitude from. Even while I was ordering she was not friendly and welcoming. I had even mentioned this was my first time here, yet there was no warmth to even make my visit memorable. She said the food will be ready in 15 mins and I was welcome to hangout until then. When the food came out, I asked for a few COMPLIMENTARY corn muffins and Ellie gave me attitude for even asking as if it was going to take her so much energy and time to simply walk back to put 2 muffins in my to go bag. Overall her attitude was very apparent a and made my first visit a memorable one, it’ll remind me to not come back here. Okay, let’s talk food, the real matter at hand. I ordered a cinnamon roll for dessert. Don’t do it! First of all, it’s $ 3.28 for a dry, flaky cinnamon roll. Blah. For an appetizer, I ordered the truffle Mac-n-cheese. For flavor and taste, I give this dish 5STARS. For the quantity and price I give 1STAR. For $ 8, it’s truly not worth it… I had maybe 4 spoon bites and was done. I was appalled at how much they give for the price they charge. For dinner, I order the farm classic burger, $ 13.95. It’s such a simple, plain Jane burger. Oh, and it doesn’t even come with cheese. Wished Ellie would have mentioned that but she hates her job, so I’m not surprised she didn’t go the extra mile for good customer service. Overall… This place is expensive and the food is simply okay/blah. Don’t waste your time when there are other reputable restaurants that offer better/natural customer service and food at a more reasonable price. Pass.

Such a cute place for brunch! I got the vegetable omelet. It was alright but I know it wasn’t one of their specialties. The servers were super nice and attentive as well! Will come back!

Came here for brunch and had the Ahi Tuna Salad($ 16.95) after seeing pictures of it all over Unilocal. It was good for the instagram but taste was was alright. The Ahi was actually very good and they put a good amount in there for the price so I was happy with that. The plate was drenched with this sauce all around the salad. It was different and good but then near the end of my meal I was starting to feel sick from it. I think it was a tad too creamy. Their food is kinda expensive and you do have to pay for the LA live parking $ 5 for 2 hours and $ 5 for each additional half hour I think I just hate parking in LA :(

OK food but lazy service(except for the nice guy who greeted us at the front). TV at the bar — not working. NO bread brought to us(but other tables got bread, not sure how that works out). No silver wear. I was brought an extra beverage I didn’t order but I still took it and paid for it, its okay. Just a horrible lack of attention to detail by our server.

This place was awesome. We checked it out when LA Live had their Dark Nights event. Because we checked out a few of the restaurants we only had a couple appetizers and drinks. I would definitely come back here for dinner some time. We tried the spinach and artichoke dip. Amazing. We also had the prosciutto and nectarine bruschetta. Also amazing. And lastly, my bf had some sort of ale and I had the strawberry lemonade(alcoholic). Triple amazing. I’m not sure why the reviews here are so low. Perhaps I’ll find out after trying dinner there. But I can say that the apps are safe :)
