Stopped by this cool place a few times and I have been extremely satisfied with their customer service and their delicious food. They do have some of the best garlic knots in town. If there is any pizza you should try first from their menu, make sure to try«The Van Damme» dang, it is sooo bomb! They are also dog friendly, big plus!

I’ve been here a few times. Great Pizza! I can’t get enough and this place has some great toppings. They also have really good burgers and a menu that makes me want to come back to try everything. Good selection of beer, a little pricey but it’s all micro beer. We ordered the flight with 4 tasters for $ 13. They were busy and the server was really good just kind of took a little long for our order. I will definitely come back. Parking can get a little tight but you can find street parking in front.

We ate at the Doughroom for the first time this Saturday night. We chose to sit at a table when given the option between that and the bar, but I wish the host had explained that the happy hour prices only applied if you’re sitting in the bar area. We didn’t know about the happy hour specials until after we had already ordered and we felt a little cheated because we could’ve saved $ 2 on each of our pizzas. Aside from that, our experience was pleasant overall. The pizza was great and so was the pasta. The mood is intimate but hip and the wine and beer list is extensive. The kitchen closes an hour before closing time so make sure to keep that in mind if you’re hitting up the late night happy hour. Also love that there’s a parking lot. Looking forward to checking out their weekend brunch and bottomless mimosas.

Let me start off by saying this is not a place that’s really suitable for children. Not really for anyone under 21. I came in on a Sunday at around 2pm. There wasn’t parking but it wasn’t crowded. We were seated immediately. My first impression was«I’m under dressed and underage.» Everyone was nicely dressed and drinking wine. The menu was more made to suit those who want to drink rather than eat. I can’t give a real opinion on the alcohol so this review will be about the pizza. After being seated we were immediately given water and some time to order. We order the Classic 12″ with pepperoni, boyfriend had jalapeño. The presentation was nice, the pizza was good, but I felt it could have been better. The crust was crispy and the pizza was extremely cheesy. Fresh out the oven. But you just can’t help but feel eh. I don’t like garlicky pizza, and this satisfied that. But I felt I needed more. My boyfriend was a little turned off when he tastes his jalapeño and they weren’t fresh. He said, «they taste like vinegar. As if they were canned.» A turn off since it wasn’t specific in the menu and paying the extra dollar for a topping. I enjoyed my meal but there was really nothing that made me go «I have to come back here, it’s sooo good.» Just left me mildly disappointed. The atmosphere was nice. It’s more on the dressier side of casual. Took awhile to receive the check but no major complaints. If you want to come here and try the pizza go for it! I may come back when I can actually drink.

Live close by and finally remembered to give this place a visit. My friend and I walked there and were greeted and seated immediately. The menu is very small and barely Italian(a sign in the window advertises Italian food) I HATECRAFTBEERS for the most part. WAY too hoppy. Taste like flowers, not beer. That apparently is all they serve. While I am still looking my friend ordered a bar and was served in maybe a 12 oz glass. This beer was $ 7.00 for 12 oz? I asked why not serve pints. The waiter said the size of your glass is determined by the alcohol content of your beer… REALLY? Also they have wine on tap… Draught wine??? I don’t think so… The menu did not intrigue us. I was turned off by the ridiculous beer glass policy. My friend paid for his beer and we left. Won’t go back.

Really, really good pizza. Salads were pretty good too. No complaints about the food at all. If this place was in Playa Vista or Downtown Culver City it would have been packed. But don’t let the dingy parking lot or laundry mat neighbors deter you. Overall great experience.

A local place that always satisfies my need for a new craft to try out. They change up their draft selection that’s typically from all over the country. And, they have a good variety of ambers, IPAs, and stouts. Lovely because not everyone drinks one or the other! Their garlic balls… yum. Kale salad is refreshing. But D’s gets creative with their pizzas. A lot of people pick up their pies on any given day or night. Their thin crusted shrimp special is spicy but delish. They have a few staples but these get changed up too. Stop in for their brunch mimosas — totally worth it! Oh, with the huevos rancheros! Yum! Every time I stop in, the staff are attentive and friendly. Catch a game here comfortably in its tiny but comfy bar area!

–Cute ambiance with the brick wall and not trying too hard. –Good service –They have tiny lot but ample street parking available. –Good neighborhood spot when you don’t want to order in dominos or deal with a busy loud crowd. Spicy Bear Pizza: Hot damn! Skeptical about the honey at first but this is a game changer. Can’t get this anywhere else! Garlic Knots: More garlic please. Pappardelle Pasta: Was served with rigatoni noodles but still delicious.

It sounds cool, it looks cool, the service was great, and they have pretty good drink specials(half of bottles of wine on Tuesdays!). So why the three stars? There just wasn’t anything on the menu to get excited about. Even though their pizzas sounded interesting, when you look in the nitty-gritty details, none really popped. I ended up getting the sausage party, which was fine, but nothing special. I mean, pizza is always going to be good, but there was nothing about the crust, the ingredients, the interplay of flavors, that made this one stand out. The Hefe I got was way too flowery, so that didn’t help matters either.

I’ll start my review by saying that my husband and I often go to the laundromat that is next door to The Doughroom. Last Sunday, the laundromat’S change machine was not taking $ 20 bills, so it was the perfect excuse to have a drink next door and break the bill! The staff at The Doughroom is so friendly that they were ok with breaking the bill before we even ordered anything. So we got a couple of tens from them, threw our clothes in the washers and headed right back to the restaurant for a cold one! My husband ordered the flight, which included a chocolate chipotle beer that was absolutely delicious — and I’m not much of a beer drinker, but I loved it. I was tempted to get the $ 8 bottomless mimosa deal, but decided to have a glass of Rose instead. That was very good, too. For snacking, we got the Boccocini thanks to our server’s recommendation. It was exactly what we wanted! Deliciously breaded cheese, kind of like a mozzarella stick but better. Zach, our server, was very nice and attentive. We’re already looking forward to doing laundry again next weekend. Not for the laundry itself, but because it’s the perfect excuse to go back to The Doughroom.

We sat at the bar of this awesome little gem next to a laundromat. The food is quite good, some local and craft taps, and the vibe of the place is great. To be honest I even love the font of their front sign. Really, it’s a 4.5 star place, they just don’t let you do half stars. I only don’t say five because it is on the expensive side for a pizza, beer and wine place. I will say, the happy hour discounts pretty much everything you really need to order, and I believe it ends at 6:30, so that would be my advice. Otherwise, a really solid choice with good food and service, although you’ll probably spend 5 – 60 dollars for dinner for two if you’re drinking. More than I’d normally spend for pizza.

Late night happy hour, 9PM-11PM! Such great deals. I got the veggie pizza and garlic knots. The veggie pizza was terrific! The garlic knots would be a better choice for salad, as the dish is simply bread with a garlic-oil glaze served with marinara. I wish I’d had enough space in my belly for the baked goat cheese and tomato or the HH beer and wine specials. They have an afternoon happy hour as well and several choices for beer on tap. Yippy!!!

Hidden in a corner of a small strip mall type area next to a laundromat, this adorable restaurant was such a great find! We got the garlic knots, Tuscan fries, sausage party pizza, and squid ink linguini! Everything was very delicious and flavorful but let me just say that the pizza was probably the best pizza I’ve ever had. The cheese they used was incredible — it was not your normal, every day pizza cheese. We also got two beer flights to share amongst friends(you can pick any four beers per flight). I’m not a beer connoisseur by any means but my friends all enjoyed the darker beers especially. The service was friendly and helpful. The inside of the restaurant was clean and had a very classy atmosphere for a pizza place. It looked busy for a Friday night so if you have a large party, definitely make reservations! Overall, an amazing place and I plan to go back.

We had a decent time at the Doughroom but I think we were expecting more. We came for dinner. Parking was super easy as they have a small lot in front. The inside is small but cozy and has a bar vibe to it. They were playing the football game on that night on their two mounted tvs above the bar. We ordered two pizzas, the Spicy Pig and the Classic. The Spicy Pig per my husband had a good combination of sweet and spicy and was good. It was about 14 bucks. The Classic was your basic margherita type pizza and had good flavor. There was like three pieces of shredded basil on it so we had to ask for more. That was 10 bucks. We were surprised by how expensive the beer was! It was around 7 – 9 bucks a pint. The house beer was 5 bucks which wasn’t bad however so you could always go with that. I think they have happy hour 3−6pm which we missed so I can’t comment on that. I am not sure if we will be back. Maybe to try their pasta? Oh, I also thought it was cool that you can turn any pizza into a calzone although we didn’t try that.

Cool spot in the Palms area. The frosted windows makes you feel like you are coming inside of a cabin from the snow. The Pizzas are thin, crispy and very flavorful. You can even create your own pizza or add toppings to an already made one. The size of the pizza are comparable to that of Pieology. The fries have a nice seasoning to it. I came The Brussels sprouts, which were a special that day, is a favorite of mine. It was charred and had some crème fraîche on the bottom. At the Bar: DAILYHAPPIERHOUR Mon-Fri 5p-6:30p Sat-Sun 3p-6p LATENIGHTHAPPIERHOUR Nightly 9p-close Next time I’m going to have to try the beer. Parking: A small lot that they share with other business but there’s always street parking.

The first time I came here, I was so underwhelmed by my experience that I vowed I wouldn’t return. As luck may have it, I came back for a meet up with some friends, and I’m glad I did! I’m not a big fan of Italian food, but The Doughroom is a pretty decent spot to get some — and all of my companions seemed to really dig it. I didn’t get a chance to try the pizza this time around but instead had the garlic knots, the chopped salad and pappardelle. Yum! The garlic knots were delicious and the perfect texture — I could have used more garlic, though. The salad was delicious! Tons of fresh ingredients and really complemented the carb-heavy meal. Really liked the texture on the pappardelle, although it could have used a bit more flavor /spice. In terms of a simple dish, it was good. Excellent service and a really fun ambiance.

A better than average craft beer selection. Flight of beer on tap: Modern Times — Blackhouse Hangar 24 — Barrel Roll No. 4 Hammerhead Beechwood Brewing — The Hops of Brixton Gigantic Brewing Company — Ume Umai The pizza is pretty well made as well. I ordered the white pizza with spinach, ricotta, and a lot of garlic. Check out their happier hour for discounts on all craft beer and some menu items. The exterior and interior design of the bar is nice and aesthetically pleasing. Parking was not an issue, but I can imagine it might be during peak hours. This is the type of bar I would visit more often if I lived near the area and plop myself at the bar for a bite to eat and a beer flight.

I had been to The Doughroom during its previous incarnation and was curious to see what changed with the revamp. I was able to finally visit last Tuesday when I needed to kill time and wait for my son to be picked up. I pass by this everyday as it is two blocks away from my son’s nanny. The day I went, I easily found parking in their lot but I have been here when parking was not easy. I came before 6pm and easily found a spot at the bar. There were only about 6 – 8 other people at the restaurant. I was able to order right before the happy hour menu closed. I had the chips and dip(very good), the garlic knots(good) and the house beer. Before tax and tip, my food was only $ 10. I probably would not seek the place out but if you are in the area, it’s one of the better spots to have some small bites and drinks.

Brunch here is AMAZING. Oh my gosh. I literally live right around the corner on Lawler and I’m sad that it took me this long to come here! I’ve been to the Overland Café but this place is 100000x better! It’s unfortunate that everyone is waiting forever at the Overland, when they could come here for better food, no wait, and a nicer ambiance!!! The food was sooooo good! Wow. Some of the best brunch food I’ve ever had. We ordered the bottomless mimosas of course, French toast bread pudding, Palms omelette, and the breakfast pizza. Where do I even start?! The bread pudding was heavenly. Not too sweet and just perfection. I had a mouthgasm every time I took another bite. The Palms omelette was pretty basic, but the red sauce it was sitting in was the best part about it. The breakfast pizza… Omg. I’m in love. Sooooooo amazing. The dough, the cheese, the bacon, the egg, ahhhhhhh it’s so delicious. Please come here for your next brunch and get the pizza and the bread pudding. You won’t regret it!!! I’ll be back soon, Doughroom! Can’t wait to try the happy hour here next!
