Well the doorman is very cool! BUT alas no more DJ3rd Degree or DJ Kryptonite… so probably never coming back but fun while it lasted! Cheap drinks and plenty of «choosing» ladies, I’m hitched so enjoy swingers!

Cougar town! I’d say the ratio of women to men is about 5÷1− so good for guys. I’d give it one star but my mom is a big fan! also I enjoy the music– old school hip hop– you can’t find that quality of music played in places anymore these days Every time I go, the average age in this place is about 40 years old– so definitely not a place I’d go to socialize. I do get along well with people of that age however I do enjoy a mixture of ages. It took me and my girlfriend a good ten minutes to get a bartenders attention on a relatively slow night due to our age group. In fact from the second we walked in we were getting snide looks of disgust from our predators– the older women. I came for someone’s birthday who is their age, otherwise you guessed it– I wouldn’t waste my time here. Not my cup of tea… I couldn’t even get a cup of tea here if I wanted to, the bartenders would ignore me ha

Dive. Period. The chairs should be burned. The floor looks as if it has never been cleaned even once. Ever. Could be,(should be) remodeled, to become a nice little bar, but until then it is what it is. A dump. I think the regulars like it that way, but They could have way more clientele if they changed it.
I only know this place cause of BEERPONG!!! So they used to have BEERPOPNG tournies every Tuesday night. $ 10 per team /$ 5 each… which was fun. Always a ton of people playing. I went about 4 – 5 times and there was usually 40+ ppl there for beer pong. Anywho… there was the bar in the front… then also a back room with another bar(where BP was) and the outside back area nexdt to the fwy was the smoking /chilling area. All in all the drinks I’ve gotten there were pretty chill. Some of the crown was kind’ve sketchy… and one time some drunk fools got out of hand but all-in-all it was pretty fun those BPong trny night. Good location on Ventura+Topanga also…

I went here on a Tuesday night and experienced a very… eclectic crowd … of whom I can only assume are regulars. I don’t know if these people were celebrating a birthday, but it seemed like all the smarmy old crackheaded degenerates of Woodland Hills came out to party on this particular night. For example, some terribly old lady in a pink velour sweatsuit brought her adorable Pomeranian who subsequently shit all over the bar floor. It was just wacky. Drinks at the bar were nice and spicy, although a bit too expensive for a dive bar. Tuesday nights are beer pong nights at The Corner Club, which was kind of cool. I didn’t play though. I hate beer pong. Just another wacky feature of this place.

I pretty much discovered this bar by accident. It’s actually tucked away in the«corner» of the shopping center but I have to say I’m glad I ventured inside. I’ve always been a fan of a local«dive» type bar and this one surely doesn’t disappoint. The bartenders are extremely inviting as well as friendly and they aren’t afraid to sit across from you and have a conversation. The bartender staff is usually rotating due to the fact that this bar also doubles as a bartending school and allows thier students to learn behind the bar as they are going through thier classes. So that usually means there is always a new cute face behind the bar to interact with if you so choose to go every night. There seems to always be something going on, depending on the night there, such as Karaōke, a DJ, live bands, gourmet food trucks, special sporting events or T.V. events. Drink specials are offered as well and usually posted around the bar. So if your looking for a place to hang out at nights, whether it’s just too have a few drinks, dance, play pool, or just hang out with some friends. I encourage you too come on down to The Corner Club and check it out. But by all means decide for yourself, don’t take my word for it.

Okay, so I’ve returned twice more. The second time, I was a bit restless and wanted to leave after the first hour or so… I just can’t seem to stay content here. There were 2 live bands, the first one like alternative rock mixed with a combination of Sublime-y style, and the 2nd was more rock/blues. The crowd really seemed to like the 2nd band. Everyone was dancing which brings some cool vibes. I also noticed that there is a bartending school attached to this place — the doors are always closed, so I have wondered what goes on back there. Turns out it’s a school! What I REALLY respect is that they let the students bar-back and practice bartending on the bar side for practice and to earn their way through school — I think this is really, really awesome. So the service this time was from the same female bartender as mentioned before(who is a cool lady I’ve found — she was really attentive to my friend and I and more laid back. I guess I just caught her on one of her party-time nights my first visit and I saw another side of her), she would encourage the student when he was going too slow or if he looked like he was having difficulty. I totally didn’t mind, as I am an aspiring student(even bartender!) as well. My last visit was actually quite cool :) The music was mostly old school hip-hop and rap. I’m talkin’ Busta Rhymes, NWA, Snoop, the good ish’. I was impressed! I had a really good time, and there was a different crowd too. There were younger people and good vibes.(I think it was a Saturday) I misjudged the Corner Club. I didn’t give enough credit and I gotta be less critical and nonchalant. Props Corner, and props bartender-lady ;) Good tips next time, I’m coming with my commission check!

Great dive bar in the heart of the Valley that takes care of the locals, outsiders, and anyone that ventures in. The atmosphere has that of a «dive bar» during the day but can liven up at night and on the weekends. Great events like beer pong, karaōke, dj’s, bands, and special parties like birthdays. Great bartenders, great people, and great location. No matter where I move, I’ll always make it a point to come stop by the local bar. Check it out!

A GREAT dive bar in the ass end of the valley. I had my birthday party their last weekend and the table and VIP treatment far exceeded my expectations. I’ve been going here for the last several years and its been through some rough times, but I have to say it has gotten a lot better, especially for a dive bar. I know many of the regulars there and its almost become a cheers like bar for me. As long as I live in the neighborhood I will continue to roll out there.

Ok ok soo… I ended up popping in here last night again… I must say that I had a great night!!\ The doorman guy was really friendly, the bar man was realllyyy cute and attentive. Jukebox was on, which is GREAT! Rock N Rolll Owww… It was much much more quite than last time and no silly music and or smoke machine going, so the vibe was totally different. Seemed like most of the crowd last night were regulars and I could see why, they were chillin on a Thursday night, having a laugh, enjoying their drinks, hassle free… Sounds like a proper local to me… I also liked how everyone is friendly and chit chatty with others, lots of interaction… So far 3 stars though something tells me that I will be around soon so will see if this place gets to a 4… (PS//Err White Hearte is still my favorite and my official local… :D)

Fell into this bar after seein the wackness at Push just up the street… so i basically went from one wack bar to another wack bar… but this Corner Club might top the wackness! Music — WACK!!! DJ sucked b@lls!!! i think my son can DJ way better than that!!! The transition from one song to the next was outta wack!!! Did not flow at all… he woulda been better off jus stoppn the song at the end and jus havin that brief pause to play it to the next song. music he played was a variety, hip hop, pop, reggae, electro, latin, rock — allll that… Drinks — Not sure of the cost because wasn’t in the mood to drink… but u might have to be tipsy to at least njoy urself a lil bit. But i did getta taste of their jack and coke and it was aiight. it was a lil strong. Crowd — Effin WACK!!! dont know how to describe it but jus trust me when i say that the crowd is soooo muthaf*ckn wack!!!

As far as small Valley joints go, this is one of the better ones. Cool bartenders and a fun, rowdy group of regulars make this a fun spot any night of the week. Along with the typical pool table, jukebox and flatscreens(playing 24 hour Sportscenter) the place also has a stage that hosts a variety of live performance. Check out the first and third Mondays every month for a surprisingly good comedy show.

The Good Beer Pong Tuesdays and Cheap Beer I think a dollar. The Bad. The Beer Pong area itself is very cramped and crowded with people pushing past you as you play. The Good Beer Pong Girls lol

*CHILL*SPORTSTV*DJs on WEEKENDS*GOODPRICES* FRIENDLYSTAFF* My bf just moved to this area and in search of a low key bar with sports tv we found this lovely bar. It has a little bit of everything! Juke box, DJ’s, Karaōke nights, day time sports on several screens, food from a next door bbq restaurant, and pool. Been here on a Friday night when it turned into a club, ppl were having a good time on the dance floor and they played all the popular songs my music videos played on the tv screens. Went there on a Wednesday and it was pretty chill till around 9 when ppl started coming in for Karaōke, the were good singers and not so good singers but everyone enjoyed themselves. This is deff a local’s bar that you can come to to relax and have a beer or two during the day and party at night. And there’s this lady that sells roses basically every night. I think I saw her sell one rose, I have no clue how she manages.

I love this bar. I guarantee you, the staff are the most friendly people you’ve met at a place like this. They also have Elite Bar tending School here, [which I’m soon going to enroll in :)] a sweet DJ, AND the best part? Beer pong Tuesdays! While BP Tuesdays are pretty damn crowded, its wayyyy worth it. $ 5 a game, and if you win you can make it to the finals. My friends and I loveeee Corner club Tuesdays. UYE soon? Possibly maybe hopefully. :]

Formerly Le Cannon, I’m pretty sure the Corner Bar is under new management. I wouldn’t know, as I live in Boston most of the year and haven’t been 21 until very recently. Regardless, this is a BAR. You don’t come here for the social scene, except some nights when there’s actually a really nice crowd to see a DJ, and he’s usually pretty good… I mean, no, this is a BAR. Unless, of course, you’re here to dance in the back room with girls you haven’t seen since elementary school and who have, supposedly, been at Pierce College for«six years» studying«sign language,» and end up having a really good time. No! It’s a BAR! But so much more, apparently. Every neighborhood needs a bar where you can drink a couple beers with some friends and be otherwise unmolested by loud music and irritating hipsters. The Corner bar is that place, although it does turn into more of a club during the weekends. Jason, the bartender most nights I visited, is nice and attentive… even on crowded nights, he doesn’t ignore an entire side of the bar like most do. They’ve got a few beers on tap and a wider selection of bottles, but reviewing a bar based on the alcohol it serves makes no sense. Instead, I focus on the ambiance, the overall feel, just how comfortable I feel drinking beer in public. And the Corner Bar wins every time. It’s not pretentious, doesn’t try to be anything it isn’t, and serves people who respect that not every night is a party night. Just a great place to have a beer, and a redeeming establishment in a town filled with crap.
