My main «bean». Terrific manager & staff who care about the quality of everything they sell. It may be smallest Coffee Bean you will ever visit, but it’s big on customer service.
Note: this location is closed from Friday at sunset until Sunday morning (observing the Shabbat).

No more discounts for workers in the bulding, I’ll go across the street to their competition, better quality anyway.

I’m an indoor guy always looking for a computer plug. One plug outside (no inside seating) that’s inconveniently located next to the bathroom. I suppose a solar charger would be appropriate in this situation.

This place is the best!!! I don’t care what people say but Coffee Bean has the best beans in the business. Their coffee is quality and packs a punch when you need the energy.
This Coffee Bean has been my source of energy for the past 4 years. Their staff is always professional. A lot of the staff remembers what you order and your name. It’s like the show Cheers :)
They are the ones who stared the blended coffees. They have an amazing selection. Try their ice coffee as well. Don’t forget about their pastries. The red velvet brownie is off the hook! It’s a special item so if you see it there do not hesitate to try it! They also added a new tai ice tea. MAKE SURE TO TRY THAT! I love how Coffee Bean has something for everyone. Tea, coffee, pastries, and other healthy snacks! Go out there and try their BEANS.

My favorite place for anything coffee!!! I get from coffee bean is so yummie and tasty. They are really friendly too… not like some other coffee shops. I’m treated really nice and I always come back!!!

Service: was good, ordered with no problem. I had work in 5 mins, and the gentleman making blended drinks was moving a lil slow, but it was a lil busy so no biggie. I asked if I could have it over Ice and the girl by the name of Ana, made it in less than 30 seconds and I was out the door to work. That’s was awesome.
Parking lot is very small, but that place is more for in and out quick. Not lounge and chill. I’ll be going back if I can wake up early enough to make it before work.

Disgusting. I ordered a passion fruit tea granita. Not enough flavor. The lady that was taking my order was completely rude – walked away while I was asking her a question! The other girl making my drink… so slow. I’m just going to stick to my Starbucks.

Considering I’ve been here over 40 times (I had to look at my check-in’s to be sure), I may be a bit biased when I say this is a great little Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf. While it’s a bit cramped, and the only real seating options (along with the little bar with milk and sugar) are outside, the staff truly goes the extra mile. Their drinks are always well made, and fast too. The only downside is the bathroom situation, which is in a separate structure in the back.

I went on a Saturday afternoon (around 3 – 4 PM) and the place was closed — no signage, no notice…

If you know me, I’m a coffee bean addict! Anyways after having a meal on Beverly I really wanted a warm drink so we walked into coffee bean. This place may look big from the outside but it’s actually quite cramped. The girl working was really nice, even though they were out of a lot of things! I was requesting to see if they still have their spicy hot chocolate but they discontinued it… then I asked the girl working there if she could make a salted carmel hot chocolate, she said yes and then stated «we’re out of salt…» At that point I couldn’t help but crack up so I asked her what kind of hot chocolate she could make, and she said the red velvet was good. Anyways. workers were nice but the drinks were mediocre. The hot chocolate was just warm milk with some flavoring. Maybe the coffee is betteR?

This is the place to get your Kosher Espresso, great service. Halal Bread on Fridays, always sells out. If you want a loaf, call and make reservations.

What’s with Coffee Bean lately. This location exemplifies our recent experiences. Poorly trained staff, dirty floors and counters, and blasting music — so loud I couldn’t hear an important business call I had been waiting for. Used to visit Coffee Bean frequently. No more.

Filthy outdoor area and indifferent staff — not to mention they’re always out of whip cream and don’t stock glasses — only paper cups. Boo!

This location has parking! That’s a beautiful thing in LA! The employees were helpful and warm. I really enjoyed sitting outside and sucking up some sun and internet.

I wouldn’t normally write a review for a coffee house but I have had a wonderful experience at this location.
First off, I like the setup of this location. There is a fire pit outside and I like where the entrance door is as it doesn’t look like your typical door. It’s wooden with a small window. It’s just an all around good feel of the place. The staff is very helpful and attentive. I would go here again when I’m in the area.

I’m not generally one to write reviews for chains, but after a string of positive experiences at one of my local CBTL’s, this one’s in order.
We all know the menu at The Bean inside out, so I won’t belabor the options here except to say this year’s «seasonal» addition, the Pecan Praline — latte or ice blended — is definitely worth the price of admission… And by price, I mean, the calories it will cost you since they don’t have a no-​sugar-​added option for this one.
This corner Bean location at Beverly & Alta Vista is a bit smaller than average, but still manages to offer a full menu, wi-​fi access, and some nice street side patio seating complete with fire pit for chilly evening yid-​watching. That said, the crux of this review lies with the service. I’ve been in here plenty of times and have always been pleased, which, of itself, speaks volumes. Yesterday, I popped in for a quickie caffeine fix. The front gate seemed to be shut, so I walked around to the back to sneak in. (This is one of the few CBTL’s that actually has its own private parking lot for customers.) Once inside, I was informed they’d closed early for Yom Kippur almost twenty minutes prior, but the kippa-​clad gent at the counter let me know he could still manage an ice blended if that would do. I accepted the kind offer, still a bit surprised they’d offered to serve me at all. In a flash, I had my ice blended and before I could even reach for my wallet he said it was his Rosh Hashanah gift to me. Now that’s the kind of thing that’ll keep you coming back to a mom and pop, but you’re hard pressed to find at a chain.
