we loved this clinic! they see us on time, free handicap parking! clean nice place with the easiest and no pain blood test from a super nice nurse Athenna… and we met one of the best doctors hematology/oncologist named ANIBALMANOUKIAN, very sweet, smart, call us to give the results :) not too many doctors take time to do that, Dr Ani will be forever in our mind and heart for performing an outstanding consultation, listening to ours problems and answering ours question… she also works for the great st johns hospital in santa monica. what a friendly staff too. we highly recommend this amazing clinic! thank you

I highly recommend Dr Omid Hamid at the Angeles Clinic. He is a champion in melanoma cancer. I was diagnosed with stage 4 melanoma which had metastasized to my brain, neck, lungs, adrenals, large intestines, colon, skin, and lymphatic system. In just 6 weeks on the combo drug treatment recommended by Dr Hamid the cancer is stable(meaning there are no new growths) and all of my tumors have either shrank or disappeared. The tumors in the large intestines and colon are gone! Neck is almost gone and all other tumors have shrank substantially! I’ll come back after my next scans in 6 weeks to update this post on the progress. Plus he’s compassionate, caring, and present. I have felt so loved through the whole process. Him and his staff are delightful!

The Angeles Clinic & Research Institute touts itself as being internationally acclaimed for«developing new cancer therapies, providing the best in experimental and traditional treatments, and expertly guiding and training the next generation of cancer clinicians.» I can only comment on them from a patient standpoint and have no idea what they’re doing in terms of research and laying the groundwork for future cancer treatments. The people here are wonderful. Dr. Boasberg is my hematologist and maybe the kindest doctor I’ve ever had. My first day at the clinic he could tell and was very sensitive to the fact that I was frazzled and emotionally exhausted. He’s gone above and beyond to speak with my past doctors in Northern California and to understand everything there is to know about my case. Maria at the front desk is great — she remembers everybody’s name and doesn’t get annoyed when you ask for the umpteenth time how long the wait is. The staff is kind, although the phlebotomists sometimes seem like they could use a bit more practice. Despite the great service here, I have to say that the facilities are downright terrible. It was not meant to be a medical center. The exam rooms are small and carpeted; the doctors’ break room is more like a «war room» in that it’s in the middle of all the offices and exam rooms; and the draw station is a converted coat closet. Things often look a little chaotic and the staff would certainly benefit from a more organized and spacious layout. The wait times are often atrocious and make you wonder why you had an appointment in the first place. However, there’s free Wi-Fi to help you forget how long you’ve been waiting. Would I recommend The Angeles Clinic? I’d recommend Dr. Boasberg, but I’m sure that there are plenty of other great hematologists around town who work in better facilities. That being said, things here are good enough that I don’t plan on switching healthcare providers.
