I live down the street from this place, at night time it turns into a disgusting bar. They over serve and they let people leave with the bottles, these drunk people get in their cars and drive drunk, my friend’s car has gotten hit, there has been several accidents at the intersection in front of my house and on top of that one drunk driver drove right into the yard of one of the houses in the corner. The drunk people also walk around the neighborhood and harass people. This restaurant needs to go. There’s a drunk guy outside my apartment right now.

This place is the worst the food is nasty! And at night it’s a wanna be club with older women dressing sluty and midget guys trying to be daddy Yankee not popping at all and the place looks GHETTO as fuck !

I was there today, the place is ok. They just need to have at list some music playing. The food is good. But what I really like was the micheladas. Not too many people eating but its ok. The service is ok. Not a good restaurant but they try.

Had 4 types of pupusas as part of the FoundLA tour last Sunday and they all were very good and far better than the ones I’ve had previously (including at Jaragua). I’ve listed them in my order of favorites–
#1 Cheese –this was so good that I had SO MUCH of it!
#2 Fried pork — this was yummy too!
#3 Cheese and beans
#4 Cheese and squash — loved the uniqueness of the combination.
The reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is because the place is huge and therefore, seemed dismally empty for 12pm on a Sunday and it was also quite dark. A great option for dinnertime!

This place is disgusting! Will never go again. I ordered to go and didn’t realize how nasty the food I got until I got back home. Total regret and waste of money. I ordered three burritos and all they had was old rice with no taste and some rubber band meat. Ugh! Also the place is dirty and even has signs inside warning drug dealers that they will call police… First time to see a post like that in a restaurant. :/​I should have known… but was giving it a chance since I had just moved into that area and the place was close by.
