Best jap-k barbecue place ever. Little pricy but totally worth it. They have most amazing food display and taste. Server will cook for you so you don’t need to worry about overcook or undercook

Good quality meat. The staff is attentive and will help cook. We got combo A for the two of us and it was plenty of meat. The japchae was good and the pasta salad as part of the banchan was really good! It was nice that the table was big enough for all the food that came out.

I always have a thing for trying new KBBQ places, and this time it was this place during my frequent hangouts with my cousins. We reserved a table and once we arrived there, it seemed like it didn’t need a reservation since it wasn’t busy at all. Valet parking is available and is 2 bucks. The place seems very small, since the way it is layed out is in a plaza, and more horizontal than like a square. Inside is pretty small, but comfortable. Service is great, staff is nice, and the restaurant overall is a nice place. Their meat presentation is ridiculously awesome! All layed out nicely on a big combo plate. They do all of the cooking for you, so you have time to eat and just relax. My favorite part was grilling the pineapples, which came out delicious. We ordered the combo of 4 servings and were able to eliminate the intestine and tongue, which of we don’t like. We switched it with two orders of Kobe beef and Brisket. The Filet Mignon was delicious, tender, and juicy! All of the meat was great and they do not charge you if you don’t eat everything. Overall a good experience.

I used to come here often for their octopus dish. However, it was my first time trying their meat. There were four of us and we decided to order the Combo A set for around $ 52 and 2 orders of octopus dish. The Combo A comes with 4 different meat with combination of beef and pork belly. The qualify of the meat were great. They were all beautifully marbled and they tasted great too! Combo A is supposed to serve 2 people but the amount of meat was really small, I thought. If you are not a big meat eater, it will be okay to share for 2, but if you are a big meat eater, it won’t be enough for even 2 people. The Octopus dish has better portion though. It comes with some octopus and some veggies that they cook in front of you. You can customize the spice level and their medium can be spicier than what you think. I love this dish! They make fried rice end of your meal which is amazing! I liked the fact that we ordered the meat and the octopus dish together. You can try different things and after you eat the meat, the spiciness of the octopus dish can get rid of some greasiness that you may have from meat. The foods and service were good but I think it was a bit pricey, so I brought a half star down. However, I really think the combination of the meat and octopus dish is unique and great! Foods: 4 stars Service: 3.5 stars Atmosphere: 3.5 stars Overall Experience: 3.5 stars

I was really excited to try this place out since they had Kobe beef. My boyfriend and I came in on a Friday night with a reservation but they weren’t able to seat us until about 30 minutes after our reserved time because all the tables were still full… We ordered the combo A with Kobe short ribs, prime skirt, brisket, and pork belly. The Kobe beef was actually underwhelming for me and I was pretty disappointed. It honestly tasted like any other type of beef and wasn’t that«melt-in-your-mouth» texture everyone talks about. The rest of the meats were just okay too. I honestly think the best part was the soup and rice soup that comes out in the end. Those two were on point. For the price(total came out to around $ 67), I’d probably just go to another kbbq joint. If I do come back though, I’ll definitely try a different combo on the menu to get more of a variety of meats.

Who doesn’t love beautiful marbled meat? The meat here is stunning and you can truly taste how great the quality is. They have an array of combinations according to serving size, where you can try several cuts of meat. I say you come with a large group, where you can try a little bit of everything. Presentation here is remarkable. Unfortunately, I came as a party of two and got the combo A. This comes with: premium boneless short rib, boneless short ribs, prime outside skirt, brisket, and pork belly. With the combination, you get an order of bean paste soup, rice soup, and steamed eggs. You think this is a lot of food, but we had no problem killing this at all. Perfectly satisfying. The meat was wonderful — very tender, not seasoned before the grilling, and a beautiful bright red color. I was a huge fan of their premium short rib, brisket, and pork belly. The brisket was unlike any brisket I’ve had before because it was still moist! My issue with brisket normally is the fact that it gets all dry and scrunches up after cooking but you won’t see that here! You can season the meat to your liking with your choice of sauce. I prefer mine with salt and sesame oil where you can still taste the meat. Unlike most kbbq joints, Ten-Raku also grills oyster mushrooms, onions, and pineapples with your meat. I thought the pineapple was an interesting combination but it was still tasty grilled. And of course, you get your endless amount of banchans. They even had a crab one seasoned with the spicy sauce(sorry idk the name lol) but it was good. A little difficult to eat because you had to bite into the crab for all the good meat but very different and delicious. The bean paste soup was the perfect ending to our meal. This one was a little salty but it warmed us up! PARKING: Valet only for $ 2. SERVICE: I was surprisingly impressed. They were quick and efficient. The servers even grilled the meat for you, which is always a plus. One of the servers also noticed that I was having some trouble with the kimchi because it was stuck all together. I literally grabbed a pair of scissors and starting cutting it up myself but before I cut all of it, the server brought me a new dish of kimchi. So thoughtful :)

I’ve been here once right when they opened, and the beef was as yummy as I remembered! It’s always good to come here with a big group and order one of the giant combos as you get a bigger variety as well as a nice presentation. We came in a party of six, and after seating, we decided to order the Ten Raku combo which comes with many types of beef and even beef tartare. The meats we had were all delicious; the kobe was melt in your mouth and the other meats were of superior quality. The tartare does come a little frozen, but its okay as you are eating raw beef. They also give a wide array of banchan including tofu soup and egg custard, which they refill endlessly for you. We ended up being unexpectedly full as the six of us thought we could destroy the food, but we were wrong. Ten-Raku is a great local spot to go with your friends and enjoy quality meat and banchan. My friends were impressed at how good this place was, and even called it a rare find! We each paid around $ 35 a person including alcohol, which is very reasonably priced for what you get!

Yum yum yum yum!!! I normally can’t go to Korean restaurants because I don’t eat red meat or pork but my friend swore up and down that I would love it and she was right. We made octopus the main ingredient for everything and it was awesome. We had octopus pancake to start and it was so tasty. As for the main course, we had the honey pot and it was filled with vegetables and spice that were just delectable. Then we had some sort of rice dish in a clay pot that had beets and other goodies in it(so no, that’s not pico de gallo which was what my initial thought was lol). Top that off with great sake and even better service and it becomes a really great(and filling!) night! Will definitely go back!

If you’re gonna splurge on KBBQ this has to be the place to get the job done with their incredible melt in your mouth Kobe style beef offerings. Although their Combo B for $ 79.99 is stated for 3 people it could easily be accomplished by a party of 2. The set includes: Kobe Premium Boneless Short Ribs Premium Boneless Short Ribs Prime Outside Skirt Filet Mignon Premium Fresh Beef Tongue Grilled Brisket Sliced Pork Belly Bean Paste Stew /Sizzling Rice Soup Steamed Eggs Outstanding quality of food, highly marbled beef, courteous service(they do most of the grilling for you). Cannot say enough good things about the delicious food and service offered at Ten-Raku.

The meat quality is great, and it didn’t seem to get as crowded as other popular kbbq spots. However, I would suggest coming with a group of at least 4 to take advantage of trying the larger combos. Being a party of 2, we ordered the Combo A($ 59.99) which comes with 5 different types of meat: Kobe Style Premium Boneless Short Ribs Premium Boneless Short Ribs Prime Outside Skirt Prime Brisket Pork Belly While we weren’t hungry at the end of the meal, I felt like we could have eaten more(definitely more chadol/brisket!), and I would have liked to try more types of meat. The banchan is pretty decent with highlights including fish cake, rice paper, potato salad, and raw marinated crab. The steamed egg is good. They provide additional items like onion, mushrooms, squash(?), pineapple, and mochi to grill along with the meat. We were able to find street parking fairly easily, but I think they also offer valet in their own lot, as many establishments do in K-town.

When you feel like you need a treat yo-self moment with top quality Korean BBQ, Ten-Raku is the place to go. Meat was juicy, tender melt-in-your-mouth. Service was meh, and ambiance is nonexistent. Our server got mad at me for cooking one of the meats on the wrong grill. I was supposed to wait for her to switch the grill, but damn ain’t nobody got time for that. You do not want to mess with me when I’m hangry. Thankfully, the meats were ready fast and by the time they got inside my mouth, the heaven gates opened and I could hear the music. My bf and I got combo B($ 89.99), and we still left just OK full, fully satisfied but definitely could have eaten more. Overall, the meat quality is up there, but just be prepared to pay the price for satiating that appetite.

Food(2 Stars) — I’ve lived in LA for 13 years, and have been to many many KBBQ place before. I tend to have KBBQ restaurant of the year kind of stuff where I only go for only one or two KBBQ place I love that year. I wanted to give another place a shot and Unilocal seemed to be praising them. Maybe due to my high expectation particularly about comments on «meat quality» I was really disappointed and meat was actually in lower end. The sauce they provide like Ssamjang were pretty dried and other sauces were not that good. On top of that it is about 20% more expensive than other KBBQ. R I P my satisfaction. Server(4.5 Stars) — Very attentive(there were only 4 tables filled with 4 servers so…) and fast serving. Ambiance(2 Stars) — it does not really feel like the warm, welcoming KBBQ restaurant. In fact, they make it sound like some Japanese, Korean fusion shnanigan when it is actually just another KBBQ place with Korean servers. There weren’t many tables filled but we still got sitted next to some loud ass Asian guy group of 8. Did not increase my appetite to hear guys yelling stuff while rest of the rather long restaurant felt empty. Parking is inconvenient with unidirectional entrance, hard to get from another side(Valet $ 2). TL;DR — Food(meat and sauce) was expensive and no bueno, and they try to add in some cool«Japanese» name for no reason, service is nice, parking is valet but inconvenient.

GREATKBBQ! Came here with 3 friends, and we got Combo C($ 110) which includes: kobe style premium boneless short ribs premium boneless short ribs prime outside skirt steak filet mignon premium beef tongue prime brisket beef large intestine pork belly Parking: Being that it’s Ktown, parking is always a hassle. But this place has valet parking for only $ 2!!! So I would definitely suggest doing valet parking. However, the valet parking lot is quite small… maybe room for about 15 cars. Ambiance: The restaurant is not the biggest, so make sure to make reservations if you want to eat here. Also, the ventilation is quite good, so you won’t smell like KBBQ as much as you would at cheap KBBQ places. In addition, they have several TVs around the room playing sports! Finally, the restaurant isn’t too loud. There’s still noise, but not enough that it’s hard to talk to your friends and family. Service: The staff was friendly and nice. They assisted in cooking the meat and came frequently to make sure we had enough drinks and ban chan(small dishes), and to change our grill if needed. Food: The food here was AMAZING. The ban chan was pretty good, but the best one was definitely the spicy raw crab(spicy crab gae-jang). The crab meat has a delicious fresh, gelatinous texture, and was complimented well with the spicy marinade that they used to coat the crab in. I can’t believe it’s free and unlimited. I would pay just to eat it. So make sure to order as much of it as you can! I ordered like 10 plates of it haha. Aside from the ban chan, the meat was very good and presented on a platter in an aesthetic way. Compared to cheap $ 15KBBQ places, you can definitely tell that the meat is of higher quality. The meat was tender and had no fat on it. In addition, the filet mignon and kobe beef were melt-in-your-mouth delicious. Tips: 1) Order all the spicy crab gae-jang as you can, and use the spicy marinade to dip your meat in! 2) Take advantage of the $ 2 valet parking 3) If you’ve never had beef intestine, make sure to have them cook it for you! Overall, Ten-Raku is a great place for KBBQ. The food is delicious and parking is cheap. I would definitely recommend.

AMAZING! ALL their side dishes are bomb! You can tell a korean restaurant good when their side dishes taste well. All the condiments from the cold cucumber soup and all that in between was mouth savoring. Especially the spicy crab gae-jang that was money can’t believe it’s given as a side dish. I’ll pay to just eat that. Ordered the nakji Jun gohl(squid) and it was so good. Got the rice cakes & pork belly added in and it made everything better! The flavor is so unexplainable you have to try. It’s on the spicy side but that can be leveled. So good with a bottle of soju. They also do fried rice with the leftover sauce goodness! Do I need to say anymore!!! Fell in love! Definitely recommend! Very satisfied dinner!

Yummy goodness! I love Korean bbq and this place is a gold mine. This place has valet available right in front. I would just park there since it was only $ 2 for parking. Upon arrival, space is very clean and was clear from all the cooking smoke that you’ll normally see at other KBBQ. We ordered the combo set meal and it contains some of the tastiest meat ever. The meat platter had a great presentation and each type of meat was in top quality. The Kobe beef was so delicious, it was heaven. The waitress assisted in cooking the meat and attended us frequently to provide grill change and refills on drinks and small dishes. This is not all you can eat and price can double, but it is totally worth it. Would recommend for small-big crowd, celebration, and great night out with friends and family.

OMG! Where have you been all my life?! I thought I had found my all time Korean BBQ place, but no no no I found you Ten-Raku!!! We made reservations for a group of 5 of us for dinner on a Monday with no problem. The nice thing about his place is that they always take reservations even on the weekends! :) valet parking is $ 2 which I recommend since it’s hard to find Parkin around there. Now the good part, the foooood! We got the Ten Raku combo that is $ 139.99 and it’s for 5 – 6 servings and it includes 9 different meats. My favorites were the Kobe short ribs and the filet mignon. None of us like the intestines so our wonderful server Janet informed us that if we didn’t like it we can switch it with something else which we did! Janet was nothing short of amazing! She was so helpful, brought us any of the banchan plates we requested with no problem at all! She made sure we were all happily fed! We were so full at the end and enjoyed the whole meal. The meats, wow talk about high quality!!! The meats were thinly sliced with no fat or greasiness. I couldn’t get over how good the food was. I’ve already spread the word and plan on coming back!

BESTKOREANBBQINTOWN! Hands down! Very impressed from beginning to end. Our party of 5 ordered the Ten Raku combo for $ 139.99 and we left more than satisfied. I should have worn my comfy/stretchy pants, haha. Reasons to pay a visit to Ten-Raku: 1. Parking in Ktown is always terrible but at least valet is only $ 2. 2. No line = happy Kathy 3. They take reservations(even on the weekends). This is extremely uncalled for especially for KBBQ joints. Thank you, Jesus! 4. Quality quality quality!!! For your information, this establishment is not all you can eat. People usually dislike non-AYCE restaurants because they want to get the most bang for their buck. Although the meat is plentiful at these unlimited KBBQ spots, the lack of quality will be evident. Don’t be basic and make the mistake of skipping out on this place just because it’s not all you can eat. Everything was so fresh and it was the perfect balance between fatty and flavorful. 5. The side dishes(banchan) weren’t overly salty and I enjoyed that they offered a set for each side of the table. No uncomfortable«reaching over the entire table to grab the kimchi». I was pleasantly surprised to see that they had the spicy soft shell crab. Not only is this one of my favorite sides but it is also very pricy. Kudos! 6. Beef tartare and the filet mignon are dream worthy. Can’t wait til we meet again *sigh* 7. One of my top 5 best customer service experiences. The servers handle, cook, and cut ALL of your meats and vegetables with a smile. I don’t really mind cooking my own meat but I won’t stop you either if you want to cook it for me. Our main server Janet was the epitome of what great service should be. She was really down to earth but managed to stay consistent and attentive to our large party. She made our dining experience an amazing one with her awesome energy. Keep it up! All in all, Ten Raku has now been dubbed my favorite KBBQ spot. Sorry Quarters, but you’ve been bumped to 2nd place now.

No Wait On A Saturday Night Let me repeat that… No wait on a Saturday night in LA. I should end it right there. 5 Stars. Actually no, that would help portray this place as being good, then people will find out about it and next time I go there will be a wait… gah! Combo Special $ 139.99(5 – 6 servings) Korean Beef Tartare Kobe Style Premium Boneless Short Ribs Premium Boneless Short Ribs Prime Outside Skirt Filet Mignon Premium Beef Tongue Prime Brisket Pork Belly Beef Large Intestine Did you see how many times«prime» and«premium» showed up? Maybe it’s the food snob in me but I like quality, and it definitely shines. No messy marinades and sauces to cover up the quality here, the meat is the star and each bite is like butter. Takes you back to that commercial in 1996 where Fabio bursts out of that sculpture and says…“I cannot believe it’s not butter.”

This is not an ayce BBQ spot but it’s good. You can see the quality in all of their meats and the beautiful marbling on the meats. Everything is so beautifully displayed but it seems they are not as good as they used to be. We started with the Korean beef tartare: it was a little bit frozen still but the flavors were good. The cold noodle was nice and refreshing. The side dish of rice paper they gave us was hard and cold like it has been refrigerated overnight or too long. The beef bowl was better the first time I tried it but seems good for a lunch meal(they have lunch specials from 11−3pm on weekdays only). My group ordered the combo C which had nine different varieties of meat. Everything was good but the flavors don’t seem the same as I had it the first couple of times I came here previously. The servers seemed very busy although there were so many of them; it took them a while to get to us when we needed something. There is also a convenient button you can push by your table if you need something but that took a while too. There is valet parking in the front parking of this restaurant which is very convenient.
