This laundry mat is always pretty clean, but they charge you .25 extra to use hot water. It’s fine to charge extra for hot water, but there are no signs or posts that tell you there will be an extra charge. I loaded an entire washer with towels and other personal pieces that should be washed with hot water, added money and it wouldn’t let me select hot or warm even without paying an extra .25 cents. And since I had already added money to the machine I couldn’t get it back so I was stuck either washing my clothes in cold water or paying the additional money. It’s not having to pay the additional money that made me mad, but rarher the sneaky manner in which Coin Laundry went about charging for hot water. Another lady was complaining about the same thing to the attendant, but since none of the attendants speak good English, I had to argue my point through the Spanish speaking woman who was already complaining. Also, there are only two benches to sit on, which are always occupied so I have to sit in my car most of the time. This is probably my last visit to this laundry mat. Even though I live right across the street I will drive extra miles to not feel like I’m being swindled out of money and be more comfortable while I wait on my laundry

I came here 8 at night. It was fairly empty with enough parking space. It is clean and nice. There is also a worker here sweeping and cleaning a bit. The machines are also clean and really nice. Will definitely be back with my next load of laundry.

Not a lot of people in the mornings and they have lots of parking.

WOW! I usually dread doing laundry at the laundromat but this place is awesome! It was super clean, machines looked new and were spotless. There was an attendant here and she was mopping the floor and scrubbing the machines down too! It made doing laundry very pleasant!

Guess what: it’s not terrifying to do your wash at Temple Coin Laundry. Isn’t that what all of us apartment dwellers are looking for in life? As far as Silver Lake laundromats go, it doesn’t get much better than this place. Not a ton of areas to sit, but almost every machine is in working condition. There’s nice looking vending machines with soap, food, and etc. A couple of vintage arcade consoles as well. Also, very important — they seem to always have a few employees on duty. Other area laundromats should take notice! Just a few blocks down on Virgil, there’s a few laundromats with no visible caretakers that seem to have been permanently occupied by drunk homeless people. Boo on that! Three stars for being totally adequate. Bonus star for being so close to my house that I can go home between loads.
