I use to love working inside this building. This was back from 1997 to 2004. Short of Staples Center being built. Right before the Pantry got downsized & the main diner became a restaurant and tavern. Lots of huge changes since then and it’s starting to look like a small section/block from New York. We’re not quite there yet, but with all the new businesses & more buildings being built/remodeled and the new stadium that is anticipated to come & the nearby lofts, progress is moving rapidly.(All within walking distance from this building). I am sad that we had to move to Little Tokyo. But I do get to venture and walk right by my old building and reminisce. The best times were the Ice Cream socials, Halloween(don’t know if they still have the costume contest still??) and Christmas mini brunches(forgot what they were called) that they’d set up every year — damn good ones too! They still have the Big Snack shop that lured all the employees, especially during stressful times of mid afternoon snacking & overpriced on their gifts, the coffee stand next too it, same owner still there I saw and a new restaurant since 2011⁄12 that opened up after Zucca closed it’s doors for good(never was a true fan, but liked going there for drinks before walking over to see the Lakers play) It’s right next door to the Pantry, what more do you want when working in DT?

Does it matter what I write about this location? Building is nice enough to have a Halloween event with IN-N-OUT for tenants and a breakfast layout around Christmas time. Like any other buildings, discount tickets to amusement parks are available during business hours. I would check when the concierge is in just in case. That’s is all I can say for now.
