If you are looking for delicious food and amazing customer service, come here! I just had the beat experience with Bobby, he introduced me to his latest creation, portebella burger! They have their own balsamic that they marinate the mushroom in and it’s served with fresh veggies and goat cheese! It was very flavorful, a bit messy but who cares when it tastes so good! Also, definitely always get the sweet potatoes fries. They are made to perfection with a lil powder sugar on top. Love this place and it’s tucked away in a cute little corner! go

Was across the way at the coffee shop and wanted a get a bite to eat before heading back home. Hit Unilocal and saw this place had good Unilocal reviews so decided to come check it out. We will definitely be back and are happy to hear they deliver since my boyfriend lives more than a few blocks away… We ordered the Texas BBQ wrap with fries, and the go gi bowl. Both were huge and delicious! The owner(at least I think he was the owner) was very sweet and funny. They have a few tables in the store but serve their food in to go boxes. But they in no way make you feel like you need to rush out of there or that you can’t eat it in the shop. If you decide to go in, it’s at the top left corner of Santee where it ends at the Santee village. It’s kind of hard to see if you don’t what you are looking for.

Another one of my lunch finds, this spot is great! So far I’ve tried their amazing spicy chicken sandwich with onion rings, Korean beef over rice & pesto chicken pasta. The owner keeps telling me the ribs are a must! Apparently when Charles Barkley dined in and tried the ribs he replied you sure there’s not a brotha back there cookin instead a fine Korean owned establishment, give it a try!

TBLA saved our holiday event! The caterer we originally hired left us in a bind. We were looking for a replacement 1 business day away from our event. Luckily we found TBLA! They were very helpful in suggesting menu items that fit perfectly with our event. They arrived an hour early to begin the set up. The food was delicious! We received a lot of compliments about TBLA. I highly recommend them!

This Korean Asian place is truly a hidden Gem. It is located in the Santee Village alley way. I’m so happy I work next door to it! I ordered the Galbi Salad which was very tender and the dressing is so yummy with the spring mix. Huge portions too. They have this amazing mango lemonade that is complimentary … Prices are a bit high but the portions are big Rustic décor Friendly staff

Small business owner restaurant, TBLA is quasi-Asian/Korean-fusion, but ultimately, it’s just tasty fresh food. Give their salads a shot, generously portioned with tasty and freshly made dressings. Friendly and prompt service, located in Santee Alley. Come for a quick and healthy lunch sometime!

My USC office lovess TBLA! Finding them was actually a pleasant surprise. We were planning a going away luncheon for a coworker, but due to scheduling conflicts we ended up needing to push it up to more like late-breakfast time the day before. We quickly found out that most caterers in DTLA can’t deliver food at 11… they’re opening at 11! So we were sorta freaking out(these professors are picky). Luckily we stumbled upon TBLA, and they’re open like… all day. Who opens at 8? With ribs??? Needless to say, we’d found our caterer. Bobby was so friendly and kind, and hand delivered our party trays right on time. He was working alone but still wouldn’t let me lift a finger to help, so sweet! And everything was soo good! I kid you not, for a while the room was eating practically in silence with just the occasional murmur of «these ribs are so good» «did you try the macaroni» «mmm!» Not to mention there was sooo much food in the catering package. We ordered«enough for 30» but easily had enough for 50+. The pricing is really good, especially compared to other DTLA places. We’ve ordered from them a second time and it was equally good. I know the office upstairs has asked for their contact info, so I think we’ve gotten them hooked ;) Our new go-to caterer!

LOVE this place. Its a hidden gem in the Fashion District of downtown LA. It’s quite literally hidden in the corner… hehe Was here about a month ago on a whim because we saw it had some great reviews on Unilocal.Well, those reviews were spot on. The menu is diverse for any taste palate. The owner, Bobby, took our orders and chatted with us for a bit. He’s a great, down to earth guy. Be prepared because the portions are humongous. You totally get every bang for your buck. I’m vegetarian so I chose the Veggie Medley salad and it was perfect. Very refreshing and filling. My family raved about their food also. We can’t wait to come back here the next time we visit LA.

I usually don’t like to say that a restaurant is a «hidden gem» because it’s so cliché but this place really is! I would’ve never found out about TBLA if it wasn’t recommended by my friend. The food is amazing here. I highly recommend their cobb salad, ribs, and rotisserie chicken. If you’re here for breakfast definitely try their sausage patty and French toast. Even their side salads are good because the dressing is good. The owners are super cool and friendly. Must try if you work/live in DTLA. I just love this cul de sac. It has TBLA, a great little Japanese restaurant across, and a cool spot for coffee. Wish I had this in Pasadena. I’ll be back.

We always order delivery at work from TBLA– LOVE this place! They have a pretty extensive menu from breakfast items, wraps/sandwiches, salads, pastas, and even ribs. I order the HEARTYCOBBSALAD($ 11.50) about 90% of the time, lol. It comes with organic romaine, smoked apple bacon, hard boiled egg, tomatoes, bleu cheese, avocado, and chicken with a balsamic dressing. It’s SOGOOD. The bacon is always crispy, the chicken always juicy and charred nicely. The avocado and bleu cheese gives the salad that creamy factor– all the ingredients complement each other so deliciously. Oh, and it’s HUGE– I’m always so stuffed after the final few bites, so the $ 11.50 price isn’t that bad. Some other recommendations: MANDARINPECANCITRUSSALAD($ 11.00) STRAWBERRYSPINACHSALAD($ 11.00) CHICKENPESTOPANINISANDWICH($ 10.50) VEGGIEBURGER($ 12.00) THEBURGER($ 12.00)

Ever wonder what a production crew eats under those white tents on a tv/movie shoot? Well TBLA’s brick and mortar location lets you try a sampling of their high quality amazing eats for dine-in or take-out. These guys cater to celebs and for good reason. I stick with my comfort favorites like Chicken & Ribs and the Mac & Cheese side. But I’ve tried most of the menu and I must say everything is pretty damn tasty! Once in a while I reward myself with a full rack of their baby back ribs, and I get a kick at how easily the meat falls off the bone(will upload pic!). The rice bowls and salads are high quality and very generous in portion for sharing. The burger is also very juicy and humongous!

Very friendly staff, nice presentation even in To go boxes. Tried their strawberry spinach salad with chicken, pretty good, the chicken was a little dry but still the salad overall was good. The pesto chicken pasta was pretty darn tasty along with the buttered bread that came out. My favorite was the galbi wrap, very filling and definitely left one feeling very satisfied. Great hole in the wall place, friendly atmosphere and quick service. Park in nearby lots, be sure to read the signs of you try to street park. They offer catering too.

I came here on a week day for a lunch meeting. The place is a bit hidden so make sure you know how to get there. I ordered the Galbi Wrap, I actually couldn’t decide what to get because their menu sounded really good. The Galbi Wrap came with onion rings(or other choices– macaroni and cheese/salad). The wrap as well put together and the meat was very delicious. The onion ring was crispy and delicious. I would definitely come back to this place.

SOGOOOOD! Mandarin Pecan Citrus Salad + Organic greens + Mandarin oranges + Granny Smith apples + Avocados + Candied pecans and almonds + Cranberries + Golden raisins + Blue Cheese + Balsamic dressing(subbed out the Citrus dressing) This was seriously such a BOMB salad. All the ingredients married so perfectly together and was so expertly balanced. I never felt like it was too sweet either. The acid from the citrusy mandarin slices cut the sugar from the fruit. And the pecans, goat cheese, & avocados added a nice creamy texture. The portion size is generous, and everything was really fresh. The salad came with a slice of bread which was not very impressive(compared to the salad), but still a nice accompaniment. LOVETBLA and will definitely use them as a caterer when I have the occasion.
